This study was conducted to understand the cellular proliferative effect of Photobiomodulation Therapy(PBmT)on thawed dental pulp stem cells(DPSCs)stored for 2 *** this purpose,cells were exposed to PBmT for short period of time to evaluate the most appropriate PBmT parameter for stimulating cellular proliferation that can be used for future tissue engineering *** characterized DPSCs were seperated into three groups according to the laser energy densities(5 J/cm^(2) or 7 J/cm^(2))applied and a group was served as control in which cells did not receive any laser *** cells in laser-irradiated groups were further divided into two subgroups according to the period of application(24 h and 0 h)and exposed to Gallium-Aluminum-Arsenide diode laser *** viability and the proliferation rate of the cells were analyzed with the 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(mTT)assay,any PBmT related cellular cytotoxicity were determined by performing a lactate dehydrogenase assay(LDh)and statistical analysis of data were *** percentage of proliferation seemed to increase upon laser therapy in both different doses of irradiation(5 J/cm^(2) and 7 J/cm^(2)).DPSCs showed significantly higher proliferation rate upon 7 J/cm^(2) irradiation in both 0 h and 24 h when compared to control ***,DPSCs irradiated with 5 J/cm^(2) dose induced relatively lower proliferation rate when compared to 7 J/cm^(2) dose of *** to the LDh data,PBmT exposure did not show any significant cytotoxicity at both energy densities in all different time *** at 7 J/cm^(2) should be an effective parameter to stimulate proliferation of long-term cryopreserved DPSCs in a short term time *** therapy may be an upcoming tool for future tissue enngineering and regenerative dentistry applications.

Whenever the mobile station moves from the range of one access point and comes to the range of another access point a handoff process is occurred. This process takes a long time when using the IEEE 802.11 standard handoff and this delay affect the real time and multimedia applications. This paper provides a layer 2 handoff process for the IEEE 802.11 that is able to eliminate the scanning delay and reduce the total handoff delay.

AIm To evaluate the agreement of multichannel intraluminal impedance-p h monitoring(mII-p hm) and gastroesophageal reflux scintigraphy(GES) for the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease. mEThODS Seventy-five consecutive patients with suspectedgastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) underwent 24-h combined mII-p hm recording and one hour radionuclide scintigraphy during the course of the mIIph m study. Catheters with 6 impedance channels and 1 p h sensor were placed transnasally. Impedance and p h data analysis were performed automatically and manually. For impedance monitoring, reflux was defined as a retrograde 50% drop in impedance, starting distally and propagating retrogradely to at least the next two more proximal measuring channels. Reflux index(RI, percentage of the entire record that esophageal p h is han 4.2% for p hm and number of refluxes more than 50 for 24 h for mII were accepted as positive test results. At scintigraphy, 240 frames of 15 seconds duration were acquired in the supine position. Gastroesophageal reflux was defined as at least one reflux episode in the esophagus. After scintigraphic evaluation, impedance-ph recordings and scintigraphic images were evaluated together and agreement between tests were evaluated with Cohen's *** Sufficient data was obtained from 60(80%) patients(34 male, 56.7%) with a mean age of 8.7 ± 3.7 years(range: 2.5-17.3 years; median: 8.5 years). Chronic cough, nausea, regurgitation and vomiting were the most frequent symptoms. The mean time for recording of mII-ph m was 22.8 ± 2.4 h(range: 16-30 h; median: 22.7 h). At least one test was positive in 57(95%) patients. According to diagnostic criteria, GERD was diagnosed in 34(57.7%), 44(73.3%), 47(78.3%) and 51(85%) patients by means of p hm, mII, GES and mII-p hm, respectively. The observed percentage agreements/κ values for GES and p hm, GES and mII, GES and mII-p hm, and mII and p hm are 48.3%/-0.118; 61.7%/-0.042; 73.3%/0.116 and 60%/0.

近几十年来,随着公共卫生安全事件的频发,个体防护意识的逐步增强增强,抗菌纺织品逐渐引起人们广泛的关注。在织物抗菌整理研究中,常见的抗菌整理剂如金属银(Ag)基纳米材料、光催化材料氧化锌(Zn O)和二氧化钛(Ti O)、有机季铵盐化合物(QACs)及天然抗菌剂如壳聚糖等已经得到了深入探索。相比天然抗菌剂的来源受限、有机抗菌剂的生物毒性,无机抗菌剂仍是目前整理剂的首选。随着纳米技术的不断进步,贵金属纳米材料如纳米银颗粒(Ag NPs)、纳米金颗粒(Au NPs)和纳米铂颗粒(Pt NPs)被广泛应用于纺织品的抗菌整理中,取得了令人满意的效果。然而,对于超小尺寸、多功能化的铂纳米团簇基材料(Pt NCs)的抗菌性能研究甚少。本研究采用简单的一锅还原法制备了一种聚乙烯基亚胺稳定的Pt NCs基新型抗菌整理剂。透射电子显微镜(TEm)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)和傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)等手段用来检测Pt NCs的形貌和结构表征。结果表明合成的Pt NCs具有1.6±0.4 nm的超小球形,并呈现零价态。选取大肠杆菌和铜绿假单胞菌为目标检测细菌,通过抑菌圈试验和OD值测试,检测制备的新型Pt NCs材料的抑菌效果。Pt NCs基抗菌剂的浓度为0.035 mg/m L和0.018 mg/m L时,对大肠杆菌和铜绿假单胞菌均有一定的抗菌作用,这是由于Pt NCs材料带正电荷,更容易进入负电的细菌体内产生活性氧(ROS)进而破坏细菌的DNA,起到抗菌的效果。随后,这种令人满意的Pt NCs基抗菌剂通过浸渍法、汽蒸法和涂覆法三种方法对棉织物进行整理,并采用振荡法验证对于大肠杆菌的抑制效果,光学显微镜、拉伸强度测试仪和白度测试仪测定Pt NCs基抗菌剂整理后棉织物的形态、机械性能和白度。浸渍法实验中,整理后的棉织物在光学显微镜下结构形貌变化不大;兼顾织物白度性能,当Pt NCs基抗菌剂的用量为0.06 mg/m L,浸渍时间为48 h时抗菌效果最佳。汽蒸法整理后的棉织物在相同条件下的抑菌率普遍高于浸渍法处理后的织物,但由于汽蒸后抗菌整理剂进入棉织物的不均匀问题,限制了其实际应用。涂覆法抗菌整理的抗菌效果要明显优于浸渍法和汽蒸法。本研究采用水性聚氨酯和有机硅树脂两种助剂,配方为胶粘剂10%、增稠剂2%、分散剂0.2%进行整理实验。实验结果表明,两种助剂结合Pt NCs基抗菌剂涂覆在棉织物均展现出对于大肠杆菌较好的抑菌性能。整理后的织物在光学电子显微镜下表现出与原布样不同的状态,反映了纤维表面被涂层助剂的附着,改善了织物形态结构。另一方面,抗菌整理后的织物,其机械拉伸性能明显提高,但在白度方面,三种方法抗菌整理后织物的白度数据与未抗菌整理的棉织物的白度数据有一定差异。结合在白度和拉伸性能数据,以水性聚氨酯为粘合剂,Pt NCs基抗菌剂添加量为0.14 mg/m L时,对棉织物涂布整理达到的抗菌效果最佳。结果也反映了合成的Pt NCs基抗菌剂与水溶性粘合剂有着更好的相溶性和亲和力,这种涂覆方法更有利实现Pt NCs基抗菌剂的纺织品整理的应用。随着抗菌研究逐渐成为人们关注的热点问题,抗菌剂的开发和应用在未来将有着非常可观的市场应用前景。本研究提出了一种新型Pt NCs基抗菌整理剂的抗菌效果以及其在棉织物整理的最佳工艺。相比于传统的纳米银等抗菌剂,这种新型Pt NCs抗菌整理剂具有用量小、抗菌效果好的优点,为开发新型抗菌整理剂提供了具有价值的理论依据和支撑,同时也能补充无机抗菌剂的种类,丰富了纺织品在抗菌整理过程中的多种选择,具有一定的市场应用价值。

A meta-analysis of 1-year outcomes of transcatheter versus surgical aortic valve replacement in low-risk patients with severe aortic stenosis

Background Transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVR)for the treatment symptomatic severe aortic stenosis(AS)is indicated in patients with intermediate or higher surgical *** trials showed TAVR,and surgical aortic valve replacement(SAVR)perform similarly at 1-year for the composite outcomes of mortality,stroke and *** performed a comprehensive meta-analysis to compare individual outcomes at 1-year for TAVR compared to SAVR in low-risk *** Pub med,Embase,and Cochrane central were searched for all the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that reported 1-year comparative outcomes of TAVR and surgical aortic valve replacement(SAVR).Our conclusions are based upon the random-effects model using Der Simonian-Laird *** Data from 4 trials and 2887 randomized patients showed that TAVR had lower rates of all-cause mortality,cardiovascular mortality,and atrial fibrillation compared to SAVR at 1-year follow-up(Ph a significantly higher risk of permanent pacemaker implantation and moderate-severe paravalvular leak(Phe latest randomised trial data demonstrates that in short-term,TAVR is safe and effective in reducing all-cause mortality or *** follow-up of RCTs is needed to determine the durability of clinical benefits in TAVR over SAVR in low-risk patients.

Thermal energy management in metal-organic frameworks(mOFs)is an important,yet often neglected,challenge for many adsorption-based applications such as gas storage and *** its importance,there is insufficient understanding of the structure-property relationships governing thermal transport in *** provide a data-driven perspective into these relationships,here we perform large-scale computational screening of thermal conductivity k in mOFs,leveraging classical molecular dynamics simulations and 10,194 hypothetical mOFs created using the ToBaCCo 3.0 *** found that high thermal conductivity in mOFs is favored by high densities(>1.0 g cm^(−3)),small pores(metal *** also found that 36 mOFs exhibit ultra-low thermal conductivity(m^(−1) K^(−1)),which is primarily due to having extremely large pores(~65Å).Furthermore,we discovered six hypothetical mOFs with very high thermal conductivity(>10 W m^(−1) K^(−1)),the structures of which we describe in additional detail.

Objective:To investigate the antioxidant,antibacterial,and chemical ingredients of Ardisia elliptica(***) methanolic ***:The plant was extracted using *** and antioxidant activities were ***:The results showed that both fruit and leaf extract of *** have significant antibacterial activities against Gram-positive and Gram-negative *** extracts showed higher content of phenolic(71 ± 0.03 GAE/mg extract dry weight),in comparison to the leaf extracts(37 ± 0.05 GAE/mg extract dry weight).Flavonoid content,and Fe2+chelating activity of fruit extracts were higher than leaf *** percentage radical inhibition of fruit extract is found to be higher(70%) than that of leaf extract(60%).LCmS results indicated that the major compounds in the fruit extract were Gingerol,Aspidin,Kampherol,and Stercuresin,while the leaf extract contained Gingerol,Aspidin,Triangularin,and Salicyl acyl ***,the results of GCmS indicated that fruit extract contained these major compounds:Vitamin E Tocopherol,5-hepylresornicol,2-Nonylmalonic acid,5-pentadecylresornicol,and ***,leaf extract of *** contained these major compounds:Alpha Amyrenol,4,4,6,6a,6b,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12 a,14,14 a,14 b octadehydro-2h-picen-3-one,and Lonasterol,4-t-Butyl-2-[4-nitrophenyl] ***:The results provide evidence that fruit and leaf of *** extracts might indeed be used as a potential source of effective natural antimicrobial and antioxidant agents in pharmaceutical and food industries.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADhD)is one of the most common psychiatric and neurobehavioral disorders in children,affecting 11%of children *** study aimed to propose a machine learning(mL)-based algorithm for discriminating ADhD from healthy children using their electroencephalography(EEG)*** study included 61 children with ADhD and 60 healthy children aged 7–12 *** morphological and time-domain features were extracted from EEG *** t-test(p-valuehrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)were used to select potential features of children with ADhD and enhance the classification *** selected potential features were used in four mL-based algorithms,including support vector machine(SVm),k-nearest neighbors,multilayer perceptron(mLP),and logistic regression,to classify ADhD and healthy *** overall prevalence of boys and girls with ADhD was 48.9%and 56.5%,*** average age of children with ADhD was 9.6±1.8 *** results illustrated that the combination of LASSO with SVm classifier achieved the highest accuracy of 94.2%,sensitivity of 93.3%,F1-score of 91.9%,and AUC of *** results also illustrated that mLP was the second-best mL-based classifier,which gave 93.4%accuracy,91.7%sensitivity,91.1%F1-score,and 0.960 *** findings indicated that the combination of the LASSO-based feature selection method and SVm classifier can be a useful tool for selecting reliable/potential features and classifying ADhD and healthy *** proposed mL-based algorithms could be useful for the early diagnosis of children with ADhD.
