The dynamics beamline (d-Line), which combines synchrotron radiation infrared spectroscopy (SR-IR) and energy-dispersive X-ray absorption spectroscopy (Ed-XAS), is the first beamline in the world to realize concurrent Ed-XAS and SR-IR measurements at the same sample position on a millisecond time-resolved scale. This combined technique is effective for investigating rapid structural changes in atoms, electrons, and molecules in complicated disorder systems, such as those used in physics, chemistry, materials science, and extreme conditions. Moreover, Ed-XAS and SR-IR can be used independently in the two branches of the d-Line. The Ed-XAS branch is the first Ed-XAS beamline in China, which uses a tapered undulator light source and can achieve approximately 2.5 x 1012 photons/sddle dot>300 eV BW@7.2 keV at the sample position. An exchangeable polychromator operating in the Bragg-reflection or Laue-transmission configuration is used in different energy ranges to satisfy the requirements for beam size and energy resolution. The focused beam size is approximately 3.5 mu m (H) x 21.5 mu m (V), and the X-ray energy range is 5-25 keV. Using one- and two-dimensional position-sensitive detectors with frame rates of up to 400 kHz enables time resolutions of tens of microseconds to be realized. Several distinctive techniques, such as the concurrent measurement of in situ Ed-XAS and infrared spectroscopy, time-resolved Ed-XAS, high-pressure Ed-XAS, XMCd, and pump-probe Ed-XAS, can be applied to achieve different scientific goals.

Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictive modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECRH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be overestimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECRH power. The EC resonance position varies from the high-field side to the low-field side by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan over the heating power is presented with on-axis and mixed ECRH regimes. discharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat transport regimes are distinguished by three parameters: the ratio te/Ti, the normalized electron density gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high te/Ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 results in values of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

Introduction: Cardiovascular disease represents a major public health burden worldwide. Research and management of risk factors contribute to the prevention of these diseases. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of dyslipidemia in the biochemistry unit of the Charles de Gaulle Pediatric University Hospital (CHUP-CdG) in Ouagadougou. Material and Methods: This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study, with retrospective data collection from January 1, 2020 to december 31, 2022. Patients of all ages who performed a lipid panel in the CHUP-CdG biochemistry unit during the study period have been included. Results: A total of 2872 patients have been included. The mean age of the study population was 27.72 ± 19.51 years and the M/F sex ratio was 0.81. Among the patients, 22.84% had at least one dyslipidemia. The prevalences of hypercholesterolemia, hypo-HdL cholesterolemia and hyper-LdL cholesterolemia were 11.57%, 49.19% and 57.50% respectively. Hypertriglyceridemia and mixed hyperlipidemia were present in 9.04% and 2.08% of patients. Hypercholesterolemia was significantly more frequent in the female sex (p = 0.0077);hyper-LdL cholesterolemia (p = 0.0255) and mixed hyperlipidemia (p Conclusion: The relatively high prevalence of dyslipidemia in the study indicates a worrying situation. It would therefore appear essential to extend the search for risk factors nationwide, particularly those that can be modified, in order to reduce morbidity and mortality linked to cardiovascular disease.

盐胁迫对4个种源文冠果的影响及其耐盐性综合评价

以山东东营市、新疆昌吉回族自治州、陕西咸阳市、内蒙古赤峰市的文冠果种子为试材,设置7个盐胁迫处理,盐浓度分别为0(对照)、50、100、150、200、250、300 mmol·L^(-1),25 d后观察不同程度盐胁迫时4个种源文冠果种子萌发、幼苗生长及盐害情况;结合主成分分析法和隶属函数法进行分析,综合评价各种源文冠果的耐盐性。结果表明:随着盐浓度的增加,4个种源文冠果种子发芽率和发芽势均不同程度下降,相对盐害率则逐渐升高。昌吉种源种子对盐胁迫的适应性最强,东营种源种子次之,最后为咸阳及赤峰种源种子。各种源文冠果幼苗的苗高、根长、地上部、地下部生物量及根冠比均受盐胁迫影响,其中,昌吉种源幼苗在各盐浓度处理时长势均最好。4个种源文冠果幼苗的盐害指数和盐害率均随盐浓度的升高逐渐增大,各种源的半致死盐浓度由高到低依次为昌吉、东营、咸阳、赤峰,分别为175.13、170.93、154.72、141.04 mmol·L^(-1)。耐盐性综合评价结果同盐害指数及盐害率的结果一致,均表现为昌吉种源幼苗对盐胁迫的耐性最强。4个种源文冠果种子及幼苗的耐盐能力从强到弱依次为昌吉、东营、咸阳、赤峰。
