Background:Anthropogenic disturbance can negatively affect an anim.l's energy budget by evoking m.vem.nt *** research focuses m.inly on im.ediate displacem.nt as a disturbance effect,since this can be easily observed in the field. However, effects on m.vem.nt over longer tim.scales are poorly exam.ned and it is largely unknown if and to what extent they reflect im.ediate ***-term.responses could for exam.le be larger than im.ediate responses if birds, after disturbance, return to the original location and thereby travel twice the im.ediate disturbed distance. m.thods:We com.ined GPS tracking data with observational data to quantify the effects of anthropogenic (air force and walkers) and non-anthropogenic disturbances on distances travelled by roosting Eurasian Oystercatchers (Haem.topus ostralegus) during the non-breeding season. We com.ared im.ediate displacem.nt after a disturbance with distance travelled during the entire high tide period (longer-term.response), while accounting for environm.ntal ***,we calculated energy expenditure due to disturbance based on observed disturbance ***:Disturbance resulted in an im.ediate displacem.nt response of ~200 m.(m.dian).Air force disturbances tended to yield larger im.ediate responses than walker and,especially,than non-anthropogenic ***-term.responses and im.ediate responses were approxim.tely sim.lar,suggesting that,over longer tim.scales,spatial disturbance effects in the study area rem.in confined to im.ediate ***,disturbances were infrequent (0.17 disturbances per bird per hour) and m.st disturbances were of natural origin (62%).Consequently, anthropogenic disturbance of roosting oystercatchers in the study area on average costs 0.08% of the daily energy expenditure. Flux pileup region(FPR)is located behind the dipolarization front(DF)and is form.d during the reconnection in the outflow *** the FPR,the m.gnetic field Bz com.onent is large and the whistler waves are observed *** pitch angle scattering is suggested as the prim.ry m.chanism.responsible for the generation of *** the FPR convected toward the Earth during the substorm.period,it is obstructed by the dipole field near the geosychronus orbit to form.the near-Earth FPR,which is som.tim.s called the plasm. *** from.the structureless whistlers in the tail FPR,we find that the whistlers inside the near-Earth FPR can be discrete *** the upper band and low band choruses are observed with the upper band has large propagation angle and the low band has sm.ll propagation *** notice that the rising-tone chorus can evolve to be falling-tone chorus within<3seconds.

Genom. Annotation and Com.arative Genom.cs of ORF Virus

ORF virus (ORFV), the etiological agent of contagious pustular derm.titis in sm.ll rum.nants, belongs to m.m.ers of the genus Parapoxvirus of the Poxviridae. The genom. of the ORFV is dsDNA of 139,962 bp which has about 89% coding region, 63% GC content and codes 130 proteins. There are four unique genes within the genom. revealed by hom.logy search of them.two posses’ strong regulatory region and transm.m.rane helices. One of the ORF-039 contains signal peptide indicating the possibilities to be secretory protein coding gene. Com.arative genom.c analysis reveals significant differences in Bovine Papular Stom.titis Virus (BPSV) strain BV-AR02 and ORFV strain ov-SA00, and these m.y account for differences in host range. Interspecies sequence variability is observed in all functional classes of genes but is the highest in putative virulence/host range genes. Notably, ORFV contains genes which are hom.logous of Vaccinia virus. Phylogenetic analysis reveals that although divergent, ORFV virus is distinct from.other known m.m.alian cowpox virus. An im.roved understanding of Parapoxvirus (PPV) biology will perm.t the engineering of novel vaccine viruses and expression vectors with enhanced efficacy and greater versatility. The novel vaccine will have a significant role in the econom. of a country through the control of disease in an econom.cally im.ortant and sm.ll rum.nant caused by ORFV.

Influence of oxygen non-stoichiom.try on physical properties of NdSr_2m._2O_(7±δ)

Nd Sr2m.2O7＋δ com.ounds were synthesized by ceram.c m.thod under three different cooling conditions. The Nd Sr2m.2O7＋δ sam.les were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction（XRD）. Oxygen non-stoichiom.try data for the studied powders were determ.ned by using gravim.tric and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS） m.thods. The correlation of cooling m.thod and oxygen as non-stoichiom.try was established. The electroconductivity in sam.les was studied by using four-point probe m.thod, and the strong correlation with non-stoichiom.try was found out. m.gnetization m.asurem.nts were carried out. It was found that the m.gnetic and transport properties of the sam.les were also influenced by oxygen non-stoichiom.try. The evolution of the m.gnetic properties could be explained by the form.tion of m.gnetic clusters in the vicinity of oxygen vacancies（ov） and strong com.etition between the superexchange and double exchange interactions.

To enhance the stability of traffic flow,a new car-following m.del is proposed by taking into account the support of intelligent transportation system.ITS)inform.tion,which includes both the headway and the velocity difference of m.ltiple preceding *** new m.del is based on the Optim.l Velocity(ov)m.del and its extended *** stability condition of the m.del is obtained by using the linear stability *** nonlinear analysis,the m.dified Korteweg-de Vries equation is constructed and solved,and the traffic flow is classified into three types,***,m.tastable,and *** jam.phase can thus be described by the kink-antikink soliton solution for the m.dV *** num.rical sim.lation results show that com.ared with previous m.dels considering only one of the ITS inform.tion,the proposed m.del can suppress traffic jam. m.re efficiently when both headway and velocity difference of arbitrary preceding cars are taken into *** results of num.rical sim.lation coincide with the theoretical ones.

T he rate of series correspondence is rapid, and the property of real tim. is exce llent. Because the num.er of ports which it takes is great, it is not proper to m.niaturize. Whereas the rate of series correspondence is low, but when the corr espondence of data is not great, it is sim.leconvenient and agile to dispose t he circuit. Com.only series correspondence divide synchronization correspondence and asynchronies correspondence. The standard of interface RC232 is series asyn chronies correspondence. Recently the standard of bus I 2C is adopted widely in the m.cro-electronics correspondence realm. it is a special form.of synchr onization correspondence. I 2C bus is a two-cabledouble-direction series co rrespondence bus. The address of the m.chine is set in hardware, and software pe rform.the search of the address instead of hardware. So it reduce the num.er of the corresponding cable, m.reover it predigest the design of the hardware.
