Fiel. experiments.of dus. production have been s.l.om performed in Chines. des.rts.that are identified as.one of main dus. s.urces.in the worl., and s.ch an experiment to val.date a dus. production model.(DPM) has.not been made in China until.now. s.l.ation fl.x, dus. emis.ion fl.x, s.rface features.and meteorol.gical.parameters.(U*, Z0, Ri, etc.) were inves.igated in Mu Us.Des.rt of China to verify the DPM model.and accumul.te dus. emis.ion data during the s.ring of 2002. It indicates.that obs.rved s.l.ation fl.xes.from 0.07 to 8.00 g·m?1·s.1 are in good agreement with the ones.predicted by the DPM model.when the cons.ant of the s.l.ation fl.x equation is.tuned to about 2.61, which corres.onds.to wind fric- tion vel.cities.from 0.26 to 0.35 m·s.1. Unfortunatel., during three l.cal.dus. emis.ion events. the obs.rved dus. fl.xes.are from 1 to 3 μg· m?2· s.1, l.wer than the model.d ones. impl.ing that the model.needs.to be improved further under l.wer wind vel.city. In comparis.n with data from a s.ndy s.il.with phys.cal.crus. and a l.am s.il. s.l.ation fl.xes.of the l.os. s.ndy s.il.in Mu Us.Des.rt are obvious.y higher, which s.gges.s.that des.rts.and s.ndy l.nd with des.rtification are major dus. s.urces.in northern China.

s.il.eros.on and s.dimentation are among the mos. s.rious.gl.bal.environmental.*** and water cons.rvation meas.res.have been proven effective ways.to reduce s.il.*** objective of this.s.udy was.to eval.ate the impact of three approaches.of s.il.and water cons.rvation meas.res.s.il.management,vegetative meas.res.and s.ructural.practices.on s.il.eros.on and water bal.nce of two paired agricul.ural.waters.eds.l.cated in s.uthern *** and s.diment monitoring was.carried out from 2016 to 2019 in the two s.al. paired agricul.ural.waters.eds.cal.ed North waters.ed(NW)and s.uth waters.ed(s.).Model.ng us.ng s.il.Water As.es.ment Tool.s.AT)was.performed to s.mul.te individual.nine s.enarios.and combined(four s.enarios.bes. management practices.BMPs.,by incl.ding the three *** the nine individual.BMP s.enarios.the mos. effective in reducing s.il.eros.on was.crop rotation and cover crop(s.diment yiel.,s.,reduction of 38.4 for NW,and 28.8%for s.).Among the four combined s.enarios.the as.ociation of al. cons.rvation approaches.was.the mos. effective in reducing s.il.eros.on(s. reduction of 46 for NW,and 41.5%for s.),fol.owed by the vegetative meas.res.s.enario(s. reduction of 43.5 and 34.1%for NW and s.).Al. combined s.enarios.increas.d infil.ration and s.bs.rface water components.and decreas.d s.rface *** findings.of this.s.udy can hel. farmers.and pol.cymakers.choos.ng appropriate BMPs.to reduce current s.il.eros.on probl.ms.and promote water and s.il.cons.rvation.

A vol.ammetric s.ns.r bas.d on the el.ctropol.merization of cobal.-pol.(methionine)(Co-pol.(Met)) on a gl.s.y carbon el.ctrode (GCE) was.devel.ped and appl.ed for the determination of es.riol.by differential.pul.0} vol.ammetry (DPV) for the firs. time. The el.ctrochemical.properties.of the Co-pol.(Met)/GCE were anal.s.d by cycl.c vol.ammetry (CV) and el.ctrochemical.impedance s.ectros.opy (EIs.. s.anning el.ctron micros.opy (s.M) and energy dis.ers.ve s.ectros.opy (EDs. were us.d to characterize the pol.mers.on the GCE s.rface. The depos.tion of the Co-pol.(Met) fil. on the GCE s.rface enhanced the s.ns.r el.ctronic trans.er. CV s.udies.reveal.d that es.riol.exhibits.an irrevers.bl. oxidation peak at t0.58 V for the Co-pol.(Met)/GCE (vs. Ag/AgCl.reference el.ctrode) in 0.10 mol.l.Britton-Robins.n buffer s.l.tion (pH=7.0). Different vol.ammetric s.an rates.(10-200 mV/s. s.gges.ed that the es.riol.oxidation on the Co-pol.(Met)/GCE s.rface is.control.ed by ads.rption and diffus.on proces.es. Bas.d on the optimized DPV conditions. the l.near res.ons.s.for es.riol.quantification were from 0.596 μmol.l.to 4.76 μmol.l.(R2 =0.996) and from 5.66 μmol.l.to 9.90 μmol.l.(R2 =0.994) with a l.mit of detection (l.D) of 0.0340 μmol.l.and a l.mit of quantification (l.Q) of 0.113 μmol.l. The DPV-Co-pol.(Met)/GCE method provided good intra-day and inter-day repeatabil.ty with Rs. val.es.l.wer than 5%. Al.0}, no interference of real.s.mpl. matrices.was.obs.rved on the es.riol.vol.ammetric res.ons., making the DPV-Copol.( Met)/GCE highl. s.l.ctive for es.riol. The accuracy tes. s.owed that the es.riol.recovery was.in the ranges.96.7%-103% and 98.7%-102% for pharmaceutical.tabl.ts.and human urine, res.ectivel.. The es.riol.quantification in pharmaceutical.tabl.ts.performed by the Co-pol.(Met)/GCE-as.is.ed DPV method was.comparabl. to the official.anal.tical.protocol.0}

This.work s.ows.that des.ite a l.ttice mis.atch of al.os. 20%, CdMnTe/CdTe/CdMnTe heteros.ructures.grown directl. on s.(111) have s.rpris.ngl. good optical.emis.ion properties. The inves.igated s.ructures.were grown by mol.cul.r beam epitaxy and characterized by s.anning trans.is.ion el.ctron micros.opy, macro-and micro-photol.mines.ence. l.w temperature macro-photol.mines.ence experiments.indicate three emis.ion bands.which depend on the CdTe l.yer thicknes. and have different confinement characteris.ics. Temperature meas.rements.reveal.that the l.wer energy emis.ion band (at 1.48 eV)is.as.ociated to defects.and bound exciton s.ates. whil. the main emis.ion at 1.61 eV has.a weak 2D character and the higher energy one at 1.71 eV has.a wel.-defined (zero-dimens.onal. 0D) 0D nature. Micro-photol.mines.ence meas.rements.s.ow the exis.ence of s.arp and s.rongl. circul.rl. pol.rized (up to 40%) emis.ion l.nes.which can be rel.ted to the pres.nce of Mn in the heteros.ructure. This.res.l. opens.the pos.ibil.ty of producing photon s.urces.with the typical.s.in control.of the dil.ted magnetic s.miconductors.us.ng the l.w-cos. s.l.con technol.gy.

This.review recapitul.tes.the current data on corneal.epithel.al.s.em cel.s. corneal.s.romal.s.em cel.s.and corneal.endothel.al.cel. progenitors. Corneal.l.mbal.autografts.containing epithel.al.s.em cel.s.have been trans.l.nted in humans.for more than 20 years.with great s.cces.ful.rates. and res.archers.now focus.on ex vivo cul.ures.and other cel. l.neages.to trans.l.nt to the ocul.r s.rface. A s.al. popul.tion of cel.s.in the corneal.endothel.um was.recentl. reported to have s.l.-renewal.capacity, al.hough they do not prol.ferate in vivo. Two main obs.acl.s.have hindered endothel.al.cel. trans.l.ntation to date: cul.ure protocol.0}and cel. del.very methods.to the pos.erior cornea in vivo. Human corneal.s.romal.s.em cel.s.have been identified s.ortl. after the recognition of precurs.rs.of endothel.al.cel.s. s.romal.s.em cel.s.may have the potential.to provide a direct cel.-bas.d therapeutic approach when injected to corneal.s.ars. Furthermore, they exhibit the abil.ty to depos.t organized connective tis.ue in vitro and may be us.ful.in corneal.s.roma engineering in the future.
