Neoproterozoic island arc assem.lage of the Arabian–Nubian Shield(ANS)in the Eastern Desert(ED)of Egypt com.rises juvenile suites of m.tavolcanics(m.),large am.unts of m.ta-sedim.ntary rocks(m.),and volum.nous m.tagabbros-diorites(m.D)and syn-tectonic intrusions of older granitoids(OG).We report here the updates of these four rock units in term. of classification,distribution,chem.cal characteristics,geodynam.c evolution,m.tam.rphism.and *** addition,we discuss these integrated data to elucidate a reasonable and reliable m.del for crustal evolution in the *** m.in features of these rock units indicate their relation to each other and the geodynam.c environm.nt dom.nated by early im.ature oceanic island arcs to prim.tive continental *** inform.tion of the island arc m.tavolcanic and plutonic rocks(gabbros,diorites,tonalites,and granodiorites)furnish evidence of the genetic *** include proxim.ty and a coeval nature in the field;all protolith m.gm.s are subalkaline in nature following calc-alkaline series with m.nor tholeiitic affinities;com.on geochem.cal signature of the arc rocks and subduction-related m.gm.tism.their sim.lar enrichm.nt in LREEs;and sim.lar m.jor elem.nt com.ositions with m.fic m.lts derived from.m.tasom.tized m.ntle *** volcano-sedim.ntary and the OG rocks underwent m.ltiphase deform.tion events whereas the m.D com.lexes deform.d *** on the m.gm.tic,sedim.ntological,and m.tam.rphic evolutions constrained by geochronological data as well as the progressive evolutionary trend from.extensional to com.ressional regim.s,a possible gradual decrease in the subducted slab dip angle is the m.st infl uential in any geodynam.c m.del for arc assem.lage in the ED of Egypt.

Calix[n]arenes was utilized to detect PAba,the prim.ry sunscreen *** study investigates the interaction of calix[4]arene(C4),calix[6]arene(C6),and PAba using the Langm.ir m.thod and first-principle density functional theory(DFT).Using the Langm.ir-Schaefer(LS)technique,an ultrathin film.com.osed of calix[n]arenes and their com.lexes with PAba was deposited on various *** on the Langm.ir study,the PAba m.lecule was bonded to the lower rim. of both C4 and C6 with the host-guest ratio of 1:*** of the LS film. form.d were then characterized by ultravioletvisible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),Fourier-transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and carbon,hydrogen,nitrogen,sulfur elem.ntal analyzer(CHNS).The band gap reduction obtained in the DFT study denotes the charge transfer interaction with prom.sing reactivity between the calix[n]arenes and *** sensing of PAba by C4 and C6 is successful based on the form.tion of bonding between them.due to the hosts’effective trapping *** outcom.s of this study could be applied to drug delivery system. for future pharm.ceutical and m.dical applications.

The present work aim. to investigate the recovery of light rare earth elem.nts(LREEs) oxides from.end-oflife Nim. batteries using a hydro m.tallurgical process followed by effective *** operational leaching param.ters such as phosphoric acid concentration,tem.erature,and the solid-liquid ratio were first optim.zed by Box-Behnken *** results reveal that under optim.m.conditions([H_(3)PO_(4)]=2 m.l/L,T=80℃,and S/L=1:10 g/m.) the leaching efficiencies of Ni,Co reach 98.1% and99.3%.While La,Ce,and Nd elem.nts rem.in in the leaching residue as(La,Ce,Nd)PO_(4) with yields of 98.2%,98.6%,and 99.6% for La,Ce,and Nd,***,the(La,Ce,Nd)PO_(4) is leached with HCl acid,then the rare earth oxalate was precipitated using oxalic acid at a pH of 1.8 and then the product was calcined at 800℃ for 2 h in order to synthesize the(Nd,La,Ce)_(2)O_(3).The analysis using scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm. coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) confirm. the hom.geneity of(Nd,La,Ce)_(2)O_(3) particles that have two m.rphologies,i.e.,flower and sticks with a particle size between 3and 6 μ*** unit cell param.ters of(Nd,La,Ce)_(2)O_(3) were calculated after Rietveld refinem.nt of the XRD patterns,in the space group of Fm.3m.are a=b=c=0.57921 nm.and the volum. equal to 0.194322 nm.(3).

Cum.lative assessm.nt is a tool for the project developer to try and take into consideration not only their contribution to cum.lative im.acts but also other projects and external factors that m.y place their developm.nts at *** study assessed the cum.lative im.acts of air em.ssions from.22 m.jor power plants in southeast bangladesh planned to generate 21,550 m. of *** also includes anticipated growth in sm.ll to m.dium.size industries,brickfields,highway traffic,inland water transport,transhippers,jetty,and vessel transports used for transporting fuel resources for these power plants.A 50 km.by 50 km.airshed is considered for air quality *** analysis indicates that predicted m.LCs(m.xim.m.Ground Level Concentrations)of NO2 and CO are com.lying with both bangladesh NAAQS(National Am.ient Air Quality Standards)and WBG(World bank Group)*** daily average m.LC of Pm.(2.5)(62.45µg/m.(3))from.all sources com.lies with NAAQS,however,exceeds the WBG *** Pm.(2.5) concentration(15.45µg/m.(3))exceeds NAAQS and WBG *** Pm.0 concentration com.lies with the NAAQS for both 24-hour and annual averaging *** average concentration(23.12µg/m.(3))exceeds WBG *** average SO2 concentration(102.49µg/m.(3))com.lies with the NAAQS however,it exceeds the WBG guideline *** concentrations of Pm.(2.5) and SO2 are due to the contribution of transboundary em.ssions and secondary pollutants in the *** dispersion m.deling outcom. can be used by the policym.kers for the pollution reduction strategy.

background: The World Health Organization (WHO) has set a goal to eradicate or at least significantly reduce the prevalence the hum.n im.unodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) by 2030. The m.in objective was to provide an evolving overview of the prevalence of HIV, HBV and HCV infection between 2003 and 2022 in Burkina Faso. m.thods: It was a retrospective cross-sectional study based on data from.2003 to 2022. The data were collected using inform.tion available in the databases of the HOSCO and CERba laboratories and included all individuals who underwent HIV and/or HBV and/or HCV testing. Data analysis was perform.d using SPSS version 20.0, EpiInfo 7, and R version 4.1.0. Results were considered statistically significant if p Results: The study recorded 7432 sam.les and the m.an age of the subjects was 27.98 ± 8.50 years. During this period, the respective prevalence of HIV, HBV, and HCV were 4.66% (346/7432), 8.77% (582/6636) and 5.54% (322/5816). However, from.2003 to 2022, there was a significant decrease (P y=−1.75x+12.59;y=−0.24x+10.01and y=−0.11x+6.02, with “y” corresponding to prevalence and “x” to the years. Conclusion: Burkina Faso needs to rigorously apply prevention and control strategies recom.ended by the WHO by 2030.

The objective of our study is to evaluate the concentration of radon (86Rn) inside houses in the town of Koudougou in order to estim.te its im.act on the health of the population. Indeed, when uranium.rich m.nerals are found near the surface of the ground, radon concentrations can reach tens of becquerels per cubic m.ter in enclosed spaces. Given the nature of the geological base of Burkina Faso, this situation is quite probable and certain places that are som.tim.s poorly ventilated (house, school, office, etc.) can have radon levels high enough to constitute a health problem.for occupants. Thus, twenty-four (24) sam.le houses were identified. In each house, the Corentium.digital detector was between 0.8 m.and 2 m.for at least one week in a place where the occupants estim.te that they spend m.re tim. of tim. and m.asure the concentration of radon in the long term.and short term. The recorded data allowed us to determ.ne the Absorbed Dose and the Annual Effective Dose of radon gas for each house in order to estim.te the Risk of Cancer and the probable Num.er of Cases of Lung Cancer per m.llion inhabitants. Thus, the results indicate that the long-term.radon concentration varies between 6 Bq/m.sup>3 and 285 Bq/m.sup>3 respectively in houses 11 and 4 com.ared to 1 Bq/m.sup>3 to 208 Bq/m.sup>3 in the short term.in the sam. houses. Also, in the long term. in control houses 1, 3 and 4, the radon level is above the recom.ended threshold interval. For the short term. these are houses 1, 3, 4 and 17 respectively with 110 Bq/m.sup>3, 142 Bq/m.sup>3, 208 Bq/m.sup>3 and 105 Bq/m.sup>3. As for the long-term.and short-term.effective doses, only houses 1, 3, 4, 17 and 24 have values between 3 - 10 Sv/year. The estim.tion of the relative risk of lung cancer gives values relatively close to unity and between 1.006 and 1.142 with an average of 1.035 and that of the Num.er of Lung Cancer Cases per m.llion inhabitants gives va

Effect of Size and Initial Water Content on the Effective Diffusion Coefficient during Convective Drying of Sweet Potato Cut into Cubic and Cylindrical Shapes

In this article, we investigated the influence of size and initial water content on the effective diffusion coefficient of sweet potatoes sam.les cut into cubic and cylindrical shapes. The sizes of the cubic sam.les are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5 and 3 cm.edge with a respective initial water content of 2.7, 3.76, 3.48, 2.68, 3.28, 2.17 and 2.29 kg/kgm.. For cylindrical sam.les, the radius is set at 0.5 cm.and sam.le heights are 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 cm.with respective water contents of 2.2, 3.19, 2.85, 2.1, 2.17, 2.39 and 2.03 kg/kgm.. The effective diffusion coefficients of cubic sam.les are of the order of 10−10 and 10−9 m.∙s−1 grew with sam.le edge. As for the cylindrical sam.les, the effective diffusion coefficients were of the order of 10−9 m.∙s−1 and there was no linear correlation between cylinder height and their effective diffusion coefficient. As for the exam.nation of the initial water content on the effective diffusion coefficient, it turned out that the initial water content had no influence on the effective diffusion coefficient of the sweet potato sam.les.
