Neurodegenerative diseases are a major public health challenge,mainly affecting the elderly population and compromising their cognitive,sensory,and motor ***,available therapies focus on alleviating symptoms and slowing the progression of these conditions,but they do not yet offer a definitive *** this scenario,terpenes emerge as promising natural alternatives due to their neuroprotective *** compounds can reduce the formation of protein aggregates,neutralize free radicals,and inhibit pro-inflammatory enzymes,which are crucial factors in the development of neurodegenerative *** addition,terpenes also play an important role in the regulation and remodeling of the extracellular matrix,a key target for improving neuronal *** such as linalool,pinene,and eugenol,among others,have potential therapeutic effects by modulating inflammatory and oxidative stress processes,the main factors that contribute to the progression of these *** suggest that these compounds act on signaling pathways that regulate the extracellular matrix,improving neuronal integrity and,consequently,cognitive and motor *** work aims to review the potential of terpenes in the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders,with emphasis on their ability to regulate oxidative stress and inflammation,as well as to remodel the extracellular *** interaction between these mechanisms points to the promising use of terpenes as an innovative and natural therapeutic approach to combat these diseases.

海洋通信装备间产生的海量数据导致水声频谱资源紧张，亟需提高水声频谱利用率以满足信息传递需求。因此，一种基于联邦学习（Federated Learning， FL）、Transformer和卷积神经网络（Convolutional Neural Networks， CNN）的水声智能频谱感知算法被提出，以提高频谱利用率。首先，基于FL实现数据隔离状态下的信息共享，并应用Paillier加密技术进行权重加密保障。其次，本地感知数据经连续小波变换构建为时频谱图。最后，融合CNN与Transformer构建了TransCNN感知器，通过并行分支实现了高精度感知。TransCNN感知器包含预处理表征模块和并行分支表征模块；其中，预处理表征模块利用深度可分离卷积改进了Transformer以处理时频谱图，增强了自注意力机制对局部特征的建模能力；并行分支表征模块联合了Transformer、卷积层、池化层等执行两路差异表征，然后融合两路特征，可以聚焦更细微的关键特征，实现高精度水声智能频谱感知技术。在信噪比-18～0 dB范围内，与RepVGG、Swin-transformer、YOLOv7、MobileNet算法相比，基于FL-TransCNN神经网络的水声智能频谱感知算法的平均检测概率提升了4%～10%，平均虚警概率降低了2%～9%。

The Conservation Agriculture (CA) is a current concept drives to save natural resources for agricultural production based on the minimum soil disturbance or no-tillage, crop rotation and permanent maintenance of straw on soil surface. The increasing in soil density is a problem to achieve great copping yield under CA, so occasional one-time tillage is considered as an alternative to continuous no-tillage. In this way, this experiment was carried out to compare occasional tillage and no-tillage interacting with cover crops in a field established under conservation agriculture. Thus, the experimental treatments were set up by two tillage methods, conventional tillage and no-tillage and two cover crops, white lupin and millet setting in a randomized blocks with split plot design with four replications. The traits evaluated in the research were soil fertility, soil resistance to penetration, soil moisture and tomato agronomic performance. No-tillage was more efficient to preserve soil moisture;however soil fertility, soil resistance to penetration and tomato yield were favored by conventional tillage. Regarding to cover crops white lupin increased the soil K concentration and enhanced the tomato growth. Although occasional tillage had better performance to the soil fertility and tomato yield, we highlighted that CA is the better way to increase soil health and soil and water conservation along the time leading to so desired regenerative agriculture.

Most existing semi-supervised clustering algorithms are not designed for handling high- dimensional data. On the other hand, semi-supervised dimensionality reduction methods may not necessarily improve the clustering performance, due to the fact that the inherent relationship between subspace selection and clustering is ignored. In order to mitigate the above problems, we present a semi-supervised clustering algo- rithm using adaptive distance metric learning （SCADM） which performs semi-supervised clustering and distance metric learning simultaneously. SCADM applies the clustering results to learn a distance metric and then projects the data onto a low-dimensional space where the separability of the data is maximized. Experimental results on real-world data sets show that the proposed method can effectively deal with high-dimensional data and provides an appealing clustering performance.

Traditional normalized tree edit distances do not satisfy the triangle inequality. We present a metric normalization method for tree edit distance, which results in a new normalized tree edit distance fulfilling the triangle inequality, under the condition that the weight function is a metric over the set of elementary edit operations with all costs of insertions/deletions having the same weight. We prove that the new distance, in the range [0, 1], is a genuine metric as a simple function of the sizes of two ordered labeled trees and the tree edit distance between them, which can be directly computed through tree edit distance with the same complexity. Based on an efficient algorithm to represent digits as ordered labeled trees, we show that the normalized tree edit metric can provide slightly better results than other existing methods in handwritten digit recognition experiments using the approximating and eliminating search algorithm （AESA） algorithm.

From a harmonized structural map at the scale of a portion of SW Burkina Faso (90 × 80 km2), we targeted prospective zones on the basis of structural criteria and structure-geology relationships. The map was constructed from an aeromagnetic image, and the geology was deduced from old geological maps. The procedure involved extracting the magnetic fabric and deducing the deformation gradients, which led to the identification of shear zones. Analysis and interpretation of the structural geometry of the obtained structural pattern led us to target areas of interference between structures or geology-structures interplays, which are conducive to the deposition of metallic elements. The subsequent overlay of known gold prospects and deposits documented in the region revealed the validity of the predefined prospects. This result reinforces the applicability of the methodology as a first-order regional approach to mineral exploration.

Trajectory clustering and behavior pattern extraction are the foundations of research into activity perception of objects in motion. In this paper, a new framework is proposed to extract behavior patterns through trajectory analysis. Firstly, we introduce directional trimmed mean distance （DTMD）, a novel method used to measure similarity between trajectories. DTMD has the attributes of anti-noise, self-adaptation and the capability to determine the direction for each trajectory. Secondly, we use a hierarchical clustering algorithm to cluster trajectories. We design a length-weighted linkage rule to enhance the accuracy of trajectory clustering and reduce problems associated with incomplete trajectories. Thirdly, the motion model parameters are estimated for each trajectory＇s classification, and behavior patterns for trajectories are extracted. Finally, the difference between normal and abnormal behaviors can be distinguished.

There has been considerable interest in designing algorithms for detecting community structure in real-world complex networks. A majority of these algorithms assume that communities are disjoint, placing each vertex in only one cluster. However, in nature, it is a matter of common experience that communities often overlap and members often play multiple roles in a network topology. To further investigate these properties of overlapping communities and heterogeneity within the network topology, a new method is proposed to divide networks into separate communities by spreading outward from each local important element and extracting its neighbors within the same group in each spreading operation. When compared with the state of the art, our new algorithm can not only classify different types of nodes at a more fine-grained scale successfully but also detect community structure more effectively. We also evaluate our algorithm using the standard data sets. Our results show that it performed well not only in the efficiency of algorithm, but also with a higher accuracy of partition results.
