A Comprehensive Review on Mechanisms and Applications of Rare-Earth Based Perovskite Nanocrystals

Rare earth(RE)ions,with abundant 4f energy level and unique electronic arrangement,are considered as substitutes for Pb^(2+)in perovskite nanocrystals(PNCs),allowing for partial or complete replacement of lead and minimizing environmental *** review provides a comprehensive overview of the characteristics of RE-doped PNCs,including up-conversion luminescence,down-conversion luminescence,and quantum confinement effects,***,RE doping has been found to effectively suppress defect formation,reduce nonradiative recombination,enhance photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY),and even allow for controlling over the morphology of the *** review also highlights the recent advancements in lead-free RE-based perovskites,especially in the case of Eu-based perovskites(CsEuBr_(3) and CsEuCl_(3)).Furthermore,it briefly introduces the applications of PNCs in various fields,such as perovskite solar cells(PSCs),luminescent solar concentrators(LSCs),photodetectors(PDs),and light-emitting diodes(LEDs).A systematic discussion on the luminescence mechanisms of RE-doped PNCs and lead-free RE-based perovskites is provided,along with an outlook on future research *** ultimate goal of this review is to provide guidance for the development of RE-based perovskite optoelectronic devices.

Recent clinical studies have shown that mutation of phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN)gene in cancer cells may be associated with immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(TME)and poor response to immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)***,efficiently restoring PTEN gene expression in cancer cells is critical to improving the responding rate to ICB ***,we screened an adeno-associated virus(AAV)capsid for efficient PTEN gene delivery into B16F10 tumor *** demonstrated that intratumorally injected AAV6-PTEN successfully restored the tumor cell PTEN gene expression and effectively inhibited tumor progression by inducing tumor cell immunogenic cell death(ICD)and increasing immune cell ***,we developed an anti-PD-1 loaded phospholipid-based phase separation gel(PPSG),which formed an in situ depot and sustainably release anti-PD-1 drugs within 42 days in *** order to effectively inhibit the recurrence of melanoma,we further applied a triple therapy based on AAV6-PTEN,PPSG^(@anti-PD-1)and CpG,and showed that this triple therapy strategy enhanced the synergistic antitumor immune effect and also induced robust immune memory,which completely rejected tumor *** anticipate that this triple therapy could be used as a new tumor combination therapy with stronger immune activation capacity and tumor inhibition efficacy.

The Submerged Floating Tunnel(SFT)relies on a tensioned mooring system for precise *** sudden breakage of a single cable can trigger an immediate alteration in the constraint conditions of the tube,inducing a transient heave response within the structure along with a transient increase in cable tension experienced by adjacent *** more severe cases,this may even lead to a progressive failure culminating in the global destruction of the *** study used ANSYS/AQWA to establish a numerical model of the entire length SFT for the hydrodynamic response analysis,and conducted a coupled calculation of the dynamic responses of the SFT-mooring line model based on Orca Flex to study the global dynamic responses of the SFT at the moment of cable breakage and the redistribution of cable internal *** most unfavorable position for SFT cable breakage was identified,the influence mechanism of cable breakage at different positions on the global dynamic response was revealed,and the progressive chain failure pattern caused by localized cable breakage are also clarified.

In this study,a class of rare earth composite sandwich phthalocyanines(MPcs,M=La,Y,Yb,Sc) were prepared and compounded with graphene and carbon nanotubes to obtain MPc/Gr and MPc/CNTs *** electrocatalytic behaviors of MPc/Gr and MPc/CNTs electrodes were further *** results show that the central rare earth metal has a large influence on the electrocatalytic *** the MPcs/Gr samples,ScPc with the smallest ionic radius and molecular size can be more uniformly dispersed in graphene,and the hydrogen precipitation overpotential of ScPc/Gr electrode is514 mV,corresponding to a Tafel slope of 148 mV/dec,with better electrocatalytic performance than other rare earth metal *** for the MPc/CNTs composites,LaPc,which has the largest ionic radius and molecular size,is more uniformly dispersed on the surface of CNTs,so that the LaPc/CNT electrode exhibits the best LSV performance with the smallest corresponding Tafel slope(176 mV/dec).The main reason is the different binding modes of MPcs molecules in Gr and *** rare earth phthalocyanine is combined with layered graphene,the smallest size of rare earth phthalocyanine(ScPc)is more easily embedded in the graphene layer,resulting in better homogeneity of the composite,larger effective contact area and better electrocatalytic *** contrast,when rare earth phthalocyanine is bound to carbon nanotubes in a tubular structure,it is mainly bound by attaching to the surface or being entangled by the carbon *** this case,the rare-earth phthalocyanine molecules(LaPc)with larger layer spacing can provide more contact area with CNTs,forming a more uniform and effective composite,which eventually provides more active sites and better electrocatalytic performance.

Advancing high-voltage stability of layered sodium-ion oxides represents a pivotal avenue for their progress in energy storage *** this,a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms underpinning their structural deterioration at elevated voltages remains insufficiently *** this study,we unveil a layer delamination phenomenon of Na_(0.67)Ni_(0.3)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NNM)within the 2.0-4.3 V voltage,attributed to considerable volumetric fluctuations along the c-axis and lattice oxygen reactions induced by the simultaneous Ni^(3+)/Ni^(4+)and anion redox *** introducing Mg doping to diminished Ni-O antibonding,the anion oxidation-reduction reactions are effectively mitigated,and the structural integrity of the P2 phase remains firmly intact,safeguarding active sites and precluding the formation of novel *** Na_(0.67)Mg_(0.05)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NMNM-5)exhibits a specific capacity of100.7 ma h g^(-1),signifying an 83%improvement compared to the NNM material within the voltage of2.0-4.3 *** investigation underscores the intricate interplay between high-voltage stability and structural degradation mechanisms in layered sodium-ion oxides.
