Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) remains a significant threat to web application security, exploiting vulnerabilities to hijack user sessions and steal sensitive data. traditional detection methods often fail to keep pace with the evolving sophistication of cyber threats. this paper introduces a novel hybrid ensemble learning framework that leverages a combination of advanced machine learning algorithms-Logistic Regression (LR), Support Vector machines (SVM), eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), Categorical Boosting (CatBoost), and Deep Neural Networks (DNN). Utilizing the XSS-Attacks-2021 dataset, which comprises 460 instances across various real-world trafficrelated scenarios, this framework significantly enhances XSS attack detection. Our approach, which includes rigorous feature engineering and model tuning, not only optimizes accuracy but also effectively minimizes false positives (FP) (0.13%) and false negatives (FN) (0.19%). this comprehensive methodology has been rigorously validated, achieving an unprecedented accuracy of 99.87%. the proposed system is scalable and efficient, capable of adapting to the increasing number of web applications and user demands without a decline in performance. it demonstrates exceptional real-time capabilities, with the ability to detect XSS attacks dynamically, maintaining high accuracy and low latency even under significant loads. Furthermore, despite the computational complexity introduced by the hybrid ensemble approach, strategic use of parallel processing and algorithmtuning ensures that the system remains scalable and performs robustly in real-time applications. A novel Eu^(2+)-Eu^(3+)co-activated ratiometric thermo-sensitive phosphor was developed and synthesized by solid-state *** valence state of Eu,photoluminescence and thermo-sensitive performance of the phosphor prepared either in ambient air or carbothermally were investigated and *** phosphor shows high sensitivity(Sa=0.0173 K^(-1),S_(r)=0.461%/K)and superior signal discriminability(Δν∼10380 cm^(−1)).the thermo-sensitive performance is subject to the dual effects of different thermo-responses by Eu^(2+)versus Eu^(3+)combined with energy transfer from Eu^(2+)to Eu^(3+),so that the sensitivity of the phosphor in the temperature range presents a non-monotonic *** development of the BaAl_(2)B_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Eu^(3+)phosphor is not only expected to be relevant for application in the field of temperature sensing,but also of reference significance for improving the sensitivity by means of energy transfer between co-activator ions over a wider temperature range of Eu^(2+)-Eu^(3+)co-activated ratiometric thermo-sensitive phosphors.

Universal insertion of molecules in ionic compounds under pressure

Using first-principles calculations and crystal structure search methods, we found that many covalently bonded molecules such as H2, N2, CO2, NH3, H2O and CH4may react with NaC l, a prototype ionic solid,and form stable compounds under pressure while retaining their molecular structure. these molecules,despite whether they are homonuclear or heteronuclear, polar or non-polar, small or large, do not show strong chemical interactions with surrounding Na and Cl ions. in contrast, the most stable molecule among all examples, N2, is found to transform into cyclo-N5-anions while reacting with NaC l under high pressures. it provides a new route to synthesize pentazolates, which are promising green energy materials with high energy density. Our work demonstrates a unique and universal hybridization propensity of covalently bonded molecules and solid compounds under pressure. this surprising miscibility suggests possible mixing regions between the molecular and rock layers in the interiors of large planets.

Demand-Responsive transportation Vehicle Routing Optimization Based on two-Stage Method

Demand-responsive transportation (DRt) is a flexible passenger service designed to enhance road efficiency, reduce peak-hour traffic, and boost passenger satisfaction. However, existing optimization methods for initial passenger requests fall short in addressing real-time passenger needs. Consequently, there is a need to develop real-time DRt route optimization methods that integrate both initial and real-time requests. this paper presents a two-stage, multi-objective optimization model for DRt vehicle scheduling. the first stage involves an initial scheduling model aimed at minimizing vehicle configuration, and operational, and CO2 emission costs while ensuring passenger satisfaction. the second stage develops a real-time scheduling model to minimize additional operational costs, penalties for time window violations, and costs due to rejected passengers, thereby addressing real-time demands. Additionally, an enhanced genetic algorithm based on Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-ii (NSGA-ii) is designed, incorporating multiple crossover points to accelerate convergence and improve solution efficiency. the proposed scheduling model is validated using a real network in Shanghai. Results indicate that real-time scheduling can serve more passengers, and improve vehicle utilization and occupancy rates, with only a minor increase in total operational costs. Compared to the traditional NSGA-ii algorithm, the improved version enhances convergence speed by 31.7% and solution speed by 4.8%. the proposed model and algorithm offer both theoretical and practical guidance for real-world DRt scheduling. © 2024 the Authors.

Wide-angle light scattering(WALS)was used for in situ measurements of droplet and nanoparticle size distributions during the synthesis of titania and iron oxide particles from liquid precursor solutions in the standardized SpraySyn burner for spray flame *** was synthesized from titanium tetraisopropoxide(ttiP)and iron oxide from iron(ii)nitrate nonahydrate(iNN)using ethanol(EtOH)as *** images were taken at heights up to 120 mm above the burner surface and classified into droplet and particle *** size distributions were derived from a sequential analysis of scattering data containing the oscillating Mie pattern,the lognormal size distribution parameters for spherical and fractal particle fractions from a multivariate approach on averaged particle scattering *** results show that the precursor addition leads to altered evaporation behavior and even droplet disruption probably induced by puffing or micro-explosions compared to pure *** the case of ttiP(a hygroscopic alkoxide),the synthesis of a large fraction of spheres was observed,while the nitrate iNN leads to the formation of mostly fractal aggregates.

Biological nitrification inhibitors(BNis)are released from plant roots and inhibit the nitrification activity of microorganisms in soils,reducing NO_(3)^(‒)leaching and N2O emissions,and increasing nitrogenuse efficiency(NUE).Several recent studies have focused on the identification of new BNis,yet little is known about the genetic loci that govern their biosynthesis and *** applied a combined transcriptomic and metabolomic analysis to investigate possible biosynthetic pathways and transporters involved in the biosynthesis and release of BNi 1,9-decanediol(1,9-D),which was previously identified in rice root *** results linked four fatty acids,icosapentaenoic acid,linoleate,norlinolenic acid,and polyhydroxy-α,ω-divarboxylic acid,with 1,9-D biosynthesis and three transporter families,namely the AtP-binding cassette protein family,the multidrug and toxic compound extrusion family,and the major facilitator superfamily,with 1,9-D release from roots into the soil *** finding provided candidates for further work on the genes implicated in the biosynthesis and secretion of 1,9-D and pinpoint genetic loci for crop breeding to improve NUE by enhancing 1,9-D secretion,with the potential to reduce NO_(3)^(‒)leaching and N2O emissions from agricultural soils.

many migratory birds exhibit interannual consistency in migration schedules,routes and stopover *** the interannual consistency in spatiotemporal characteristics helps understand the maintenance of migration and enables the implementation of targeted conservation *** tracked the migration of Whimbrel(Numenius phaeopus)in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and collected spatiotemporal data from individuals that were tracked for at least two *** non-parametric tests were used to compare the interannual variations in the dates of departure from and arrival at breeding/nonbreeding sites,and the inter-annual variation in the longitudes when the same individual across the same *** exhibited a high degree of consistency in the use of breeding,nonbreeding,and stopover sites between *** variation of arrival dates at nonbreeding sites was significantly larger than that of the departure dates from nonbreeding and breeding *** used stopover sites by the same individuals in multiple years were concentrated in the Yellow Sea coast during northward migration,but were more widespread during southward *** stopover duration at repeatedly used sites was significantly longer than that at sites used only *** flying across the Yellow Sea,Whimbrels breeding in Sakha(Yakutia)exhibited the highest consistency in migration routes in both autumn and ***,the consistency in migration routes of Yakutia breeding birds was generally higher than that of birds breeding in *** results suggest that the northward migration schedule of the Whimbrels is mainly controlled by endogenous factors,while the southward migration schedule is less affected by endogenous *** repeated use of stopover sites in the Yellow Sea coast suggests this region is important for the migration of Whimbrel,and thus has high conservation value.
