In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray images and natural images from the matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Experimental studies on the energy dissipation of bolted structures with frictional interfaces:A review

Bolted joints play a more and more important role in the structure with lighter weight and heavier *** paper aims to provide an overview of different experimental approaches for the dynamic behavior of structures in the presence of bolted joints,especially the energy dissipation or damping at frictional *** comprehension of energy dissipation mechanisms due to friction is provided first,while the key parameters and the measurement techniques,such as the excitation force,the preload of the bolt,or the pressure at the interfaces,are briefly ***,the round-robin systems aim to measure the hysteresis parameters of the frictional joints under tangential loads are reviewed,summarizing the basic theory and the strategies to apply the excitation force or acquire the response in different testing *** by parameter identification strategies for bolted structures,the test rigs with one or more simplified bolted joints are summarized to give an insight into the understanding of typical characteristics of bolted structures,which are affected by the presence of *** complex test rigs hosting real-like or actual engineering structures with bolted lap or flange joints are also introduced to show the identification process of the dynamic characteristics of bolted connections employed in specific *** on the review paper,researchers can get the basic knowledge about the experimental systems of the bolted structures,especially several classical round robin systems,such as the Gaul resonator and widely used Brake-Reußbeam *** can take advantage of this background for more creative and effective future studies,make more progress on the study of assembled structures and understand the influence of bolting frictional connections on the dynamic response better.

As the extraction and usage of natural resources continue to be a double-edged sword-supporting economic growth but deteriorating the environment-we study the impact of natural resource mining on sustainable economic development in the largest(PPP)*** use province-level data from 2001 to 2020 and employ econometric panel techniques,such as fixed effects,two-stage least squares,and a battery of robustness *** further explore the potential effects of education and green innovation in mitigating/exacerbating the role of natural resources in the Chinese provincial *** results show that:(1)Natural resource mining hurts sustainable development,verifying the“resource curse”effect.(2)Green innovation and education restrain the negative impact of resource mining on sustainable development,turning the curse into a blessing.(3)A regional heterogeneity is observed in the impact of resource mining on sustainable development,showing more significant effects in the Western and low-urbanized regions.(4)Green innovation and education can assuage the curse effect of natural resources into gospel *** implications and recommendations are proposed in light of the findings to promote sustainable economic development in China.

Dynamic Equivalent modeling for Black-box microgrids Under multi-operating-point by Using LSTm

Since the high penetration of distributed energy sources complicates the dynamics of electrical power systems,accurate dynamic models are indispensable for study on the transient behavior of the microgrid(mG).In some practices,the lack of full detailed information results in failure of dif-ferential equation based dynamic modeling,which leads to a demand for a black-box mG modeling *** is a critical challenge to maintain the effectiveness of the black-box model under a wide operating range and various fault *** this paper,inspired by the mathematical equivalence between the recurrent neural network(RNN)and differential-algebraic equations(DAEs),a dynamic equivalent modeling method,using long short-term memory(LSTm),is presented to tackle this *** first,the modeling equivalence and advantages of our basic idea are ***,modeling procedures,including data preparation and design guidelines,are ***,the proposed method is applied to a multi-microgrid testing system for performance *** results,under various scenarios,reveal that the proposed modeling method has an adequate capability for representing the dynamic behaviors of a black-box mG under grid fault and operating point changing *** Terms-Deep learning,dynamic behavior,dynamic equivalent model,microgrid,neural network.

A Note on P m-Factorizable Topological Groups

In this paper, we define a new class of P m-factorizable topological groups. A topological group G is called P m-factorizable if, for every continuous function f : G → m to a metrizable space m, one can find a perfect homomorphism π : G → K onto a second-countable topological group K and a continuous function g : K → m such that f = g■π. We show that a topological group G is P m-factorizable if and only if it is P R-factorizable. And we get that if G is a P m-factorizable topological group and K is any compact topological group, then the group G × K is P m-factorizable.

Enhanced red luminescence of Ca_(3)Si_(2−x)m_(x)O_(7):Eu^(3+)(m=Al,P)phosphors via partial substitution of Si^(4+) for applications in white light-emitting diodes

A red-emitting phosphor Ca_(2.91)Si_(2)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) with partial Al^(3+)/P^(5+) substitution on Si^(4+) was synthesized via a simple solid-state method,and the effects of the introduction of the m^(3+/5+)(m=Al,P)ions on the crystal structure and photoluminescence performance of Ca_(2.91)Si_(2−x)m_(x)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) phosphors were *** X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results revealed that the structure of Ca_(3)Si_(2)O_(7) remained the same after the introduction of Al^(3+) and P^(5+) *** characteristic emission of Eu^(3+)-doped Ca_(3)Si_(2−x)m_(x)O_(7) phosphors exhibited two main peaks at 617 nm(red)and 593 nm(orange)under excitation at 394 nm,which originated from the^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2)and^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1) electron transitions of Eu^(3+) *** the partial substitution of Al^(3+) and P^(5+),the red emission intensities of the Ca_(2.91)Si_(2)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) phosphors were significantly enhanced by 1.88-and 1.42-fold,respectively,which is attributed to the crystal-field effect around Eu^(3+).meanwhile,the luminescence intensities of the Ca_(2.91)Si_(1.96)Al_(0.04)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) and Ca_(2.91)Si_(1.94)P_(0.06)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) phosphors at 210℃ were 79.36%and 77.53%of those at 30°C,respectively,indicating their excellent thermal ***,the as-prepared Ca_(2.91)Si_(1.96)Al_(0.04)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+)and Ca_(2.91)Si_(1.94)P_(0.06)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) red-emitting phosphors were combined with a near-ultraviolet chip of 395 nm to fabricate red-light-emitting diode(LED)and white(w)-LED devices with excellent chromaticity *** summary,Al^(3+)/P^(5+)-substituted Ca_(2.91)Si_(2)O_(7):0.09Eu^(3+) can serve as red-emitting phosphors for applications in w-LEDs.

The CLT code was used to quantitatively study the impact of toroidal mode coupling on the explosive dynamics of the m/n=3/1 double tearing *** focus of this study was on explosive reconnection processes,in which the energy bursts and the main mode no longer dominates when the separation between two rational surfaces is relatively large in the medium *** development of higher m and n modes is facilitated by a relatively large separation between two rational surfaces,a small q_(min)(the minimum value of the safety factor),or low *** relationships between the higher m and n mode development,explosive reconnection rate,and position exchange of 3/1 islands are summarized for the first *** plays a more important role than q_(min)in enhancing the development of higher m and n *** a relatively large separation,the good development of higher m and n modes greatly reduces the reconnection rate and suppresses the development of the main mode,resulting in the main mode not being able to develop sufficiently large to generate the position changes of 3/1 islands.

Shape and composition evolution of Pt and Pt_(3)m nanocrystals under HCl chemical etching

Controlling the shape and composition of Pt-based nanocrystals is essential to improve electrocatalytic *** this work,we have carefully investigated the evolution process of morphology and composition for Pt and Pt_(3)m(m=Ni,Co)nanocrystals by hydrochloric acid(HCl)*** a result,only Pt_(3)Ni nanocrystals successfully formed unsaturated step-like atoms on the surface and then constructed high-index facets(HIFs),while Pt and Pt_(3)Co preserved a good octahedron *** functional theory(DFT)calculation suggests that Cl-ions can be tightly adsorbed on the surface of Pt_(3)Ni rather than other nanocrystals,which hinders the deposition of newly-reduced atoms and thus regulating the surface ***,the etching of surface transitional metals further accelerates the formation of *** by the active sites on the surface,HCl-Pt-Ni exhibited a~10.8 and~11.3 times higher oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)mass and specific activities than commercial Pt/C catalyst,and possessed a good durability after 10,000 cycles *** work gives a deep insight into the design of high-performance Pt-based ORR catalysts.

Two-stage aging treatment to accelerate aging kinetics without impairing strength in B_4C/7A04Al composite

Aging treatments are the key process to obtain satisfactory strength for 7xxxAl alloys and their composites. However, traditional single-stage(SS) aging is time-consuming to reach a peak strength condition. In this study, an efficient 120℃ + 160℃ two-stage(TS) aging treatment was proposed on a B_4C/7A04Al composite fabricated via powder metallurgy(Pm) technology, which could acquire similar peak-aging strength but only took about 15% of the time compared to traditional 120℃ SS aging. The evolution of precipitation during the TS aging was investigated, as well as those of the 7A04Al alloys for comparison. In the second stage aging process, the higher aging temperature accelerated the nucleation of η′ phases inside the grains and thus increased the density of precipitates. moreover, the short aging time limited the coarsening of precipitates and the broadening of precipitatefree zones. The above factors were beneficial for quickly obtaining satisfactory precipitation strengthening effects. The B_4C/7A04Al composite exhibited slower aging kinetics than the 7A04Al alloy in the TS aging. mg elements consumption by the chemical reaction between B impurities introduced by B_4C particles and the Al matrix was considered to potentially retard the aging kinetics of the B_4C/7A04Al composite. Nevertheless, the precipitation sequence was not affected.
