As hydropower development expands across lowland tropical forests,flooding and concomitant insular fragmentation have become important threats to *** created insular landscapes serve as natural laboratories to investigate biodiversity responses to *** of these most iconic landscapes is the Balbina Hydroelectric Reservoir in Brazilian Amazonia,occupying>400000 ha and comprising>3500 forest ***,we synthesise the current knowledge on responses of a wide range of biological groups to insular fragmentation at *** has largely concentrated on a set of 22 islands and three mainland *** total,39 studies were conducted over nearly two decades,covering 17 vertebrate,invertebrate,and plant *** species responses varied according to taxonomic group,island area was consistently included and played a pivotal role in 66.7%of all studies examining patterns of species *** persistence was further affected by species traits,mostly related to species capacity to use/traverse the aquatic matrix or tolerate habitat degradation,as noted for species of vertebrates and orchid *** research is needed to improve our understanding of such effects on wider ecosystem *** Impact Assessments must account for changes in both the remaining habitat amount and configuration,and subsequent long-term species losses.

Hydropower development has become an important driver of habitat loss and fragmentation across lowland tropical *** ample evidence on the detrimental effects of insular habitat fragmentation on biodiversity,invertebrate taxa,that may be critical to ecosystem functioning,have been *** assessed the assemblage-level responses of social wasps to forest insularization induced by the Balbina Hydroelectric Dam in Central Brazilian *** Malaise trapping,we captured wasps on 27 forest islands and three continuous *** constructed Generalized Linear Models and employed a model selection approach to examine the impact of local variables(fire severity(FIRE)and basal area of pioneer tree species(PIONEER))and landscape-scale variables(amount of habitat(COVER))on patterns of species richness,composition,and body size of wasps.A total of 374 individuals(29 species)were collected across all sampling *** was the main predictor of species richness,while PIONEER was the only variable that explained variation in community composition,with a negative effect on body *** results add evidence to the pervasive impacts of large hydroelectric dams on tropical forest biodiversity,and suggest that social wasps,among other invertebrates,can be used as bioindicators in infrastructure development projects.

目的:分析竞技健美操运动员落地动作的生物力学特征,比较优势侧和非优势侧生物力学指标的偏侧性,探究影响落地稳定性的关键偏侧性因素。方法:以26名高校女性健美操运动员为研究对象,同步采集40 cm高台垂直双脚落地动作中的下肢运动学和动力学数据,比较优势侧和非优势侧的触地时刻关节角度、关节活动度(ROM)、地面反作用力(GRF)、负载率、压力中心(COP)位移和包络面积的差异,计算对称指数(代表偏侧性),并采用多元逐步回归方法分析指标偏侧性和COP包络面积的关系。结果:与非优势侧相比,优势侧在触地时刻具有更大的膝外旋和髋外展角(P<0.05),在落地过程中具有较大的踝屈伸、髋屈伸、髋内收-外展及较小的踝旋转ROM(P<0.05);优势侧的伸膝力矩峰值大于非优势侧(P<0.01);垂直方向负载率和伸膝力矩峰值的对称指数与COP包络面积呈显著正相关(P<0.05);垂直方向负载率、伸膝力矩峰值和膝关节旋转角度的对称指数可以解释COP包络面积差异的83.6%。结论:竞技健美操运动员落地动作存在肢体间的偏侧性,垂直方向负载率和伸膝力矩峰值的偏侧性越大,则落地稳定性越差。此外,垂直方向负载率、伸膝力矩峰值和膝关节旋转角度的对称指数可以作为落地稳定性的预测因子。

根据《西藏王臣记》等史书记载,帕竹政权的第一任第悉大司徒绛曲坚赞为了稳固政权,促进发展,采取了减轻差税、改定法律、在各冲要地点兴建以内邬栋孜为首的城堡(宗)、设立宗谿等一系列制度。关于他所修建的城堡(宗),后人习惯称之为“大司徒的十三大宗”,但相关文献资料中几乎找不到“十三大宗”这样确切数字的表述。因此,对所谓“大司徒的十三大宗”的说法有待进一步考证,并且对于一些史书及论文中出现的琼杰宗、白朗伦珠孜宗、江噶尔达孜宗等类属于“大司徒的十三大宗”的说法更有待于进一步商榷。

BACKGROUND The gold standard treatment for papillary thyroid carcinoma is total thyroidectomy and indications for microwave thermal ablation for primary thyroid cancers have not yet been clearly established However,some patients refuse surgery and others have no indication for it,for example patients under palliative care as in this case,or cannot undergo surgery,based on their *** indications are described in the most recent Korean,North American and European *** ablation,radiofrequency ablation,and microwave ablation are similarly safe and effective,so the choice should be based on the specific competences and resources of the pertaining *** indications are Percutaneous minimally-invasive techniques;they can be useful to stop disease progression and as an alternative to surgery in patients with contraindication or who refuse *** present a case of a thyroid papillary carcinoma with 17 mm effectively treated with microwave thermal ablation and without recurrence after one year of follow *** SUMMARY The authors present a case of a 71-years-old patient with a left lobe papillary thyroid carcinoma with 13 mm×17 mm×13 mm,with no indication for thyroid surgery given the context of another cancer in palliative *** thermoablation was performed on December *** months later he repeated computed tomography(CT)scan,which showed that the tumor had *** months after ablation he underwent a positron emission tomography/CT-fluorodeoxyglucose scan,which didn’t show any evidence of hypermetabolic tumor *** This case shows microwave thermoablation can be a safe and effective alternative to surgery in patients with no conditions to undergo surgery or when they refuse *** treating the tumor,with this minimally invasive technique,we are stopping its growth and avoiding disease progression.

With the development of low dielectric permittivity materials having an ultra-low sintering temperature,testing their dielectric properties at terahertz frequencies suitable for 6G communication systems and implementation of the fabricated materials in ultra-low temperature cofired ceramics(ULTCC)were the main goals of the *** tungstate Li_(2)WO_(4)was synthesized by a solid-state reaction and used for the preparation of green tapes and test structures with cofired internal conductive layers,which are destined for substrates of microwave and submillimeter wave *** behavior,thermal effects,and mass changes of the green tapes during heating were studied using a hot-stage microscope,differential thermal analysis,and thermogravimetry.A single-phase composition was revealed for being undoped and doped with AlF3–CaB_(4)O_(7)*** impact of frequency,temperature,the addition of AlF3–CaB_(4)O_(7)and CuBi_(2)O_(4)dopants,and sintering temperature was the subject of in-depth characterization of dielectric properties in a terahertz region.A glass-free composition,ultra-low sintering temperature of 590–630℃,low roughness of the green tapes,dense microstructure,compatibility with Ag conductors,low and stable dielectric permittivity of 5.0–5.8 in a broad range of 0.2–2 THz,and low dielectric loss of 0.008–0.01 at 1 THz are the main advantages of the developed ULTCC substrates.
