The objective of this study consisted of evaluating the effect of the application of chitosan(Q),1-methylcyclopropene(1-MCP)under two controlled temperatures on some physical,physiological,and chemical pa.a.eters contributing to the quality of Persian lime Citrus latifolia *** treatments were evaluated,resulting from the combination of four senescence retardant applications(Q,1-MCP,1-MCP+Q,and without application)on fruits stored at two temperatures(12/20℃.Epidermis color(luminosity,chromaticity,and hue),fruit appea.a.ce,respiration,weight loss,total juice content,total soluble solids,and titra.a.le acidity were registered during the *** results indicate that the 1-MCP and Q combination favored fruit postharvest quality conditions such as reducing respiration rate;maintaining fruit good appea.a.ce,turgidity,and brighter fruit chromaticity;fruits treated with chitosan and stored at 12℃,favored total soluble *** the other hand,Variables such as weight loss,juice content,acidity,phenols,flavonoids,antioxidant activity,and hue values were favored by a 12℃ storing temperature regardless of the *** general,the use of modified atmospheres,senescence retardants,and refrigeration as postharvest methods,can increase Persian lime shelf life.

Using Lean Manufacturing(LM)tools in production processes is crucial for companies’economic,environmental,and social sustainability *** study shows a structural equation model(SEM)that shows the relationship between LM Tools like Kaizen(KAi),Gemba(GEM),Value Stream Mapping(VSM)and Key Performance indicator(KPi)with Economic Sustainability(ECS).Seven hypotheses were evaluated with da.a.from 179 responses to a questionnaire about the Mexican maquiladora industry,showing that these variables are *** a 95%confidence level,the model was evaluated using the partial least squares *** findings indicate that the relationships between KAi and GEM and KAi and VSM have the strongest relationship,followed by VSM and ECS;however,VSM has the strongest effect on *** on these findings,it is recommended that ma.a.ers adopt a continuous improvement(KAi)approach based on working directly on the shop floor(GEM and VSM)to support their decisions regarding economic growth(ECS).

Theoretical and experimental investigations of heat transfer in flat curvilinear channel have been carried out. Linear and non-linear effects of Dean vortexes on intensity of heat transfer were taken into account. The linear effect, which describe harmonic (sinuous) variation of the heat transfer coefficient near the concave surface of the channel and the non-linear effect causes the general increase of the heat transfer coefficient due to augmentation of heat transfer engendered by the Dean vortexes. For both effects, mathematical relations were obtained in the form of quadratures. These numerical results were modified to the form convenient in engineering calculations. The investigations have shown that both linear and nonlinear components grow up with the Dean number. Nonlinear component Q0T increases more abruptly, while the linear one Q1T is more conservative. This is a confirmation of stability of vortex structures.

We examined the transverse momentum(pT)spectra of various identified particles,encompassing both light-flavored and strange hadrons(π++π−,K++K−,p+p¯,ϕ,K0s,Λ+Λ¯,Ξ−+Ξ¯+,andΩ−+Ω¯+),across different multiplicity classes in proton-proton collisions(p-p)at a center-of-mass energy of s√=7 *** the Tsallis and Hagedorn models,pa.a.eters relevant to the bulk properties of nuclear matter were *** models exhibit good agreement with experimental *** our a.a.yses,we observed a consistent decrease in the effective temperature(T)for the Tsallis model and the kinetic or thermal freeze-out temperature(T0)for the Hagedorn model,as we transitioned from higher multiplicity(class-i)to lower multiplicity(class-X).This trend is attributed to the diminished energy transfer in higher multiplicity ***,we observed that the transverse flow velocity(βT)experiences a decline from class-i to *** normalization constant,which represents the multiplicity of produced particles,was observed to decrease as we moved toward higher multiplicity *** the effective and kinetic freeze-out temperatures,as well as the transverse flow velocity,show a mild dependency on multiplicity for lighter particles,this dependency becomes more pronounced for heavier *** multiplicity pa.a.eter for heavier particles was observed to be smaller than that of lighter particles,indicating a greater abundance of lighter hadrons compared to heavier *** particle species were observed to undergo decoupling from the fireball at distinct temperatures:lighter particles exhibit lower temperatures,while heavier ones show higher temperatures,thereby supporting the concept of multiple freeze-out ***,we identified a positive correlation between the kinetic freeze-out temperature and transverse flow velocity,a scenario where particles experience stronger collective motion at a higher freeze-out *** reason for this positive correlation is th

Acoustic wave propa.a.ion in piezoelectric crystals of classes 43m and 23 is studied. The crystals Tl3VS4 and Tl3TaSe4 （43m） of the Chalcogenide family and the crystal Bi12TiO20 （23） possess strong piezoelectric effect. Because the surface Bleustein-Gulyaev waves cannot exist in piezoelectric cubic crystals, it was concluded that new solutions for shear-horizontal surface acoustic waves （SH-SAWs） are found in the monocrystals using different electrical boundary conditions such as electrically ＂short＂ and ＂open＂ free-surfaces for the unique [ 101 ] direction of wave propa.a.ion. For the crystal Tl3TaSe4 with coefficient of electromechanical coupling （CEMC） Ke^2=e^2/（C×g）-1/3, the phase velocity Vph for the new SH-SAWs can be calculated with the following formula： Vph=（Vα＋Vt）/2, where Vt is the speed of bulk SH-wave, Vt=Vt4（1＋Ke^2）^1/2, Vα=αKVt4, αK=2[Ke（1＋Ke^2）^1/2-Ke^2]^1/2, and Vt4=（C44/p）^1/2. it was found that the CEMC K2 evaluation for Tl3TaSe4 gave the value of K^2=2（Vf-Vm）/Vf-0.047 （-4.7%）, where Vf-848 m/s and Vm-828 m/s are the new-SAW velocities for the free and metallized surfaces, respectively. This high value of KZ（Tl3TaSe4） is significantly greater than K2（Tl3VS4）-3% and about five times that of K2（Bi12YiO20）.

Objective:To establish Nipah virus diagnostic ca.a.ilities at the National Reference Laboratory in Sri Lanka using the NiV Pune real-time PCR ***:Strict safety precautions were adhered during testing due to the high pathogenicity of the Nipah virus,with all diagnostics conducted in a BSL2+laboratory at the Medical Research institute in Sri *** extraction was performed using the QiAamp Viral RNA Mini *** NiV Pune in-house real-time PCR kit was employed,following established primer/probe sequences and *** assay was validated using the Rotor-Gene Q Series Real-time PCR ***:The validation run of the Nipah virus real-time PCR test demonstrated robust performance,with positive controls consistently detecting Nipah RNa.a. a Ct value of 21.50±*** controls confirmed assay specificity with an external negative control which was also used as an extraction control and showed no *** internal control exhibited stable behavior,enhancing confidence in PCR *** qPCR a.a.ysis graph illustrated the successful detection of internal and positive controls,validating the reliability of the ***:Establishing Nipah virus diagnostic ca.a.ilities in Sri Lanka signifies a proactive and collaborative response to the persistent global health threat.
