Evaluation of the fishery status for King Soldier Bream Argyrops spinifer in Pakistan using the software CEDa.a.d ASPIC

Catch and effort da.a.were a.a.yzed to estimate the maximum sustainable yield （MSY） of King Soldier Bream, Argyrops spinifer （Forsskal, 1775, Family： Sparidae）, and to evaluate the present status of the fish stocks exploited in Pakistani waters. The catch and effort da.a.for the 25-years period 1985-2009 were a.a.yzed using two computer software packages, CEDA （catch and effort da.a.a.a.ysis） and ASPIC （a surplus production model incorporating covariates）. The maximum catch of 3 458 t was observed in 1988 and the minimum catch of 1 324 t in 2005, while the average annual catch ofA. spinifer over the 25 years was 2 500 t. The surplus production models of Fox, Schaefer, and Pella Tomlinson under three error assumptions of normal, log-normal and gamma.a.e in the CEDA package and the two surplus models of Fox and logistic are in the ASPIC package. In CEDA, the MSY was estimated by applying the initial proportion （IP） of 0.8, because the starting catch was approximately 80% of the maximum catch. Except for gamma, because gamma showed maximization failures, the estimated results of MSY using CEDA with the Fox surplus production model and two error assumptions, were 1 692.08 t （R^2=0.572） and 1 694.09 t （R^2=0.606）, respectively, and from the Schaefer and the Pella Tomlinson models with two error assumptions were 2 390.95 t （R^2=0.563）, and 2 380.06 t （R^2=0.605）, respectively. The MSY estimated by the Fox model was conservatively compared to the Schaefer and Pella Tomlinson models. The MSY values from Schaefer and Pella Tomlinson models were the same. The computed values of MSY using the ASPIC computer software program with the two surplus production models of Fox and logistic were 1 498 t （R^2=0.917）, and 2 488 t （R^2=0.897） respectively. The estimated values of MSY using CEDA were about 1 700-2 400 t and the values from ASPIC were 1 500-2 500 t. Background:Electronic Health Record(EHR)systems are used as an efficient and effective technique for sharing patient’s health records among different hospitals and various other key stakeholders of the healthcare industry to achieve better diagnosis and treatment of patients ***,the existing EHR systems mostly lack in providing appropriate security,entrusted access control and handling privacy and secrecy issues and challenges in current hospital ***:To solve this delicate problem,we propose a Blockchain-enabled Hyperledger Fabric Architecture for different EHR ***:In our EHR blockchain system,Peer nodes from various organizations(stakeholders)create a ledger network,where channels are created to enable secure and private communication between different stakeholders on the ledger *** patients and other stakeholders are identified and registered on the network by unique digital certificates issued by membership service provider(MSP)component of the fabric ***:We created and implemented different Chaincodes to handle the business logic for executing sepa.a.e EHR transactions on the *** proposed fabric architecture provides a secure,transparent and immutable mechanism to store,share and exchange EHRs in a peer-to-peer network of different healthcare *** ensures interoperability,sca.a.ility and a.a.lability in a.a.ting the existing EHRs for strengthening and providing an effective and secure method to integrate and ma.a.e patient records among medical institutions in the healthcare ecosystem.

Derailment of trains is not unusual all around the world,especially in developing countries,due to unidentified track or rolling stock faults that cause massive casualties each *** this purpose,a proper condition monitoring system is essential to avoid accidents and heavy ***,the detection and classification of railway track surface faults in real-time requires massive computational processing and memory resources and is prone to a noisy ***,in this paper,we present the development of a novel embedded system prototype for condition monitoring of railway *** proposed prototype system works in real-time by acquiring railway track surface images and performing two tasks a)detect deformation(i.e.,faults)like squats,shelling,and spalling using the contour feature algorithm and b)the vibration signature on that faulty spot by synchronizing acceleration and image da.a.A new illumination scheme is also proposed to avoid the sunlight reflection that badly affects the image acquisition *** contour detection algorithm is applied here to detect the uneven shapes and discontinuities in the geometrical structure of the railway track surface,which ultimately detects unhealthy *** works by converting Red,Green,and Blue(RGB)images into binary images,which distinguishes the unhealthy regions by making them white color while the healthy regions in black *** have used the multiprocessing technique to overcome the massive processing and memory *** embedded system is developed on Raspberry Pi by interfacing a vision camera.a. accelerometer,a proximity sensor,and a Global Positioning System(GPS)sensors(i.e.,multi-sensors).The developed embedded system prototype is tested in real-time onsite by installing it on a Railway Inspection Trolley(RIT),which runs at an average speed of 15 km/*** functional verification of the proposed system is done successfully by detecting and recording the various railway track surface faul

Owing to the 4.0 industrial revolution condition monitoring maintenance is widely accepted as a useful approach to avoiding plant disturbances and ***,Motor Current Signature a.a.ysis(MCSA)is widely reported as a condition monitoring technique in the detection and identification of individual andmultiple Induction Motor(IM)***,checking the fault detection and classification with deep learning models and its comparison among them selves or conventional approaches is rarely reported in the ***,in this work,wepresent the detection and identification of induction motor faults with MCSa.a.d three Deep Learning(DL)models namely MLP,LSTM,and ***,we have developed the model of Squirrel Cage induction motor in MATLAB and simulated it for single phasing and stator winding faults(SWF)using Fast Fourier Transform(FFT),Short Time Fourier Transform(STFT),and Continuous Wavelet Transform(CWT)to detect and identify the healthy and unhealthy conditions with phase to ground,single phasing and in multiple fault conditions using Motor Current Signature *** faults impact on stator current is presented in the time and frequency domain(i.e.,power spectrum).The simulation results show that the scalogram has shown good results in time-frequency a.a.ysis for fault and showing its impact on the energy of current during individual fault and multiple fault *** is further investigated with three deep learning models(i.e.,MLP,LSTM,and 1D-CNN)for checking the fault detection and identification(i.e.,classification)improvement in a three-phase induction *** simulating the three-phase induction motor in various healthy and unhealthy conditions in MATLAB,we have collected current signature da.a.in the time domain,labeled them accordingly and created the 50 thousand samples da.a.et for DL *** the DL models are trained and validated with a suitable number of architecture *** simulation,the multiclass confusion

For heat transfer enhancement in heat exchangers,different types of channels are often *** performance of heat exchangers can be made better by considering geometry composed of sinusoidally curved *** research studies the modeling and simulation of airflow through a 2πunits long sinusoidally curved wavy *** the purpose,two-dimensional Navier Stokes equations along with heat equations are under *** simulate the fluid flow problem,the finite element-based software COMSOL Multiphysics 5.4 is *** pa.a.etric study for Reynolds number from Re=100 to Re=1000 and the period of vibration P from 0 to 5 are *** surface plots,streamline patterns,contours,and graphs are presented for the velocity field magnitude,temperature,and pressure a.a.nst the Reynolds number as well as period of *** results are compared with various *** is found that due to the creation of periodic contraction regions the velocity magnitude of the flow is continuously increasing with the increase of Reynolds number,on the contrary the pressure is decreasing from inlet to outlet of the ***,a periodic variation in the pressure distribution along the vibrating boundaries has been found with an average increase of 500%for the high Reynolds number.A novel work was done by expressing the rotation rate per second in terms of local Reynolds number for the recirculating regions found due to the periodic oscillation of the *** average temperature near the outlet where a fixed temperature is imposed initially is decreasing with an increase in Reynolds *** convection process is weakened due to an increase of periodic vibration of boundaries.

Simulation of Non-Isothermal Turbulent Flows Through Circular Rings of Steel

This article is intended to examine the fluid flow patterns and heat transfer in a rectangular channel embedded with three semi-circular cylinders comprised of steel at the *** an organization is used to generate the heat exchangers with tube and shell because of the production of more turbulence due to zigzag path which is in favor of rapid heat *** of little maintenance,the heat exchanger of such type is extensively ***,we generate simulation of flow and heat transfer using nonisothermal flow interface in the Comsol multiphysics 5.4 which executes the Reynolds averaged Navier stokes equation(RANS)model of the turbulent flow together with heat *** is tested with Prandtl number(Pr=0.7)with inlet velocity magnitude in the range from 1 to 2 m/sec which generates the Reynolds number in the range of 2.2×10^(5) to 4.4×10^(5) with turbulence kinetic energy and the dissipation rate in ranges(3.75×10^(−3) to 1.5×10^(−2))and(3.73×10^(−3)−3×10^(−2))*** correlations a.a.lable in the literature are used in order to check *** results are displayed through streamlines,surface plots,contour plots,isothermal lines,and *** is concluded that by retaining such an arrangement a quick distribution of the temperature over the domain can be seen and also the velocity magnitude is increasing from 333.15%to a maximum of 514%.The temperature at the middle shows the consistency in value but declines immediately at the *** process becomes faster with the decrease in inlet velocity magnitude.

Impacts of environmental factors on urban heating

This study investigated the impact of important environmental variables （i.e., wind speed, solar radiation and cloud cover） on urban heating. Meteorological pa.a.eters for fifteen years （from 1990 to 2005）, collected at a well developed and densely populated commercial area （Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong）, were a.a.yzed in details. Urban heat island intensity （UHII）, a well known indicator of urban heating, has been determined as the spatially averaged air-temperature difference between Tsim Sha Tsui and Ta Kwu Ling （a thinly populated rural area with lush vegetation）. Results showed that the UHII and cloud cover have increased by around 9.3% and 4%, respectively, whereas the wind speed and solar radiation have decreased by around 24% and 8.5%, respectively. The month of December experienced the highest UHII （10.2℃） but the lowest wind speed （2.6 m/sec） and cloud cover （3.8 oktas）. Conversely, the month of April observed the highest increases in the UHII （over 100%） and the highest decreases in wind speed （over 40 %） over fifteen years. Notably, the increases in the UHII and reductions in the wind speed were the highest during the night-time and early morning. Conversely, the intensity of solar radiation reduced while the intensity of urban cool island （UCII） increased during solar noon-time. Results demonstrated strong negative correlation between the UHII and wind speed （coefficient of determination, R^2 = 0.8） but no negative correlation between UCII and solar radiation attenuation. A possible negative correlation between UHII and cloud cover was investigated but could not be substantiated.
