The biopharmaceutical industry contributes substantially to volatile organic compounds(VOCs)emissions,causing growing concerns and social developmental *** study conducted an on-site investigation of the process-based emission of VOCs from three biopharmaceutical *** the workshops of the three enterprises,26 VOCs were detected,which could be sorted into 4 classes:hydrocarbons,aromatic hydrocarbons,oxygen-containing compounds,and nitrogen-containing *** were the main components of waste gases,accounting for 44.13%-77.85%of the overall ***-based source profiles were compiled for each process unit,with the fermentation and extraction units of tiamulin fuma.a.e being the main source of VOC *** heptanone,vinyl acetate,diethylamine,propylene glycol methyl ether(PGME),and benzene were screened as priority pollutants through a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation *** level concentration simulation results of the Gauss plume diffusion model demonstrated that the diffusivity of VOCs in the atmosphere was relatively high,indicating potential non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risks 1.5-2 km ***,the process-based formation potentials of ozone and secondary organic aerosols(SOAs)were determined and indicated that n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone,dimethyl heptanone,and PGME should be preferentially controlled to reduce the ozone formation potential,whereas the control of benzene and chlorobenzene should be prioritized to reduce the generation of *** results provide a basis for understanding the cha.a.teristics of VOC emission by biopharmaceutical industries and their diffusion,potentially allowing the development of measures to reduce health risks and secondary pollution.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc(Zn)ion batteries(AZIBs)using low-cost and safe Zn metal anodes are considered promising candidates for future grid-scale energy storage systems,but the Zn dendrite problem severely hinders the further prospects of *** Zn depositing behaviors toward horizontal alignment is highly effective and thus has received huge ***,such a strategy is usually based on previous substrate engineering,which requires complex prepa.a.ion or expensive ***,it is essential to develop a novel solution that can realize horizontally aligned Zn flake deposition via easy operation and low ***,we report an ultrathin and robust Kevlar membrane as the interlayer to mechanically suppress Zn dendrite *** to the randomly distributed flaky dendrites in the control group,the deposited Zn sheets would grow into pa.a.lel alignment with the existence of such *** the dendrites are effectively suppressed,Zn||Cu asymmetric,Zn||Zn symmetric,and Zn||MnO_(2)full batteries using Kevlar interlayer deliver significantly improved cycling ***,the Zn||MnO_(2)pouch cell using a Kevlar interlayer delivers stable cycling performance and shows stable operation during multi-angle *** believe this work provides a new possibility for regulating Zn deposition from a crystallographic perspective.

Electrode materials with high desalination ca.a.ity and long-term cyclic stability are the focus of ca.a.itive deionization(CDI) community. Understanding the causes of performance decay in traditional carbons is crucial to design a high-performance material. Based on this, here, nitrogen-doped activated carbon(nAC) was prepared by pyrolyzing the blend of activated carbon powder(ACP) and melamine for the positive electrode of asymmetric CDI. By comparing the indicators changes such as conductivity, salt adsorption ca.a.ity, pH, and charge efficiency of the symmetrical ACP-ACP device to the asymmetric ACP-nAC device under different CDI cycles, as well as the changes of the electrochemical properties of anode and cathode materials after long-term operation, the reasons for the decline of the stability of the CDI performance were revealed. It was found that the carboxyl functional groups generated by the electro-oxidation of anode carbon materials make the anode zero-charge potential(E_(pzc)) shift positively,which results in the uneven distribution of potential windows of CDI units and affects the adsorption ca.a.ity. Furthermore, by understanding the electron density on C atoms surrounding the n atoms, we attribute the increased cyclic stability to the enhanced negativity of the charge of carbon atoms adjacent to quaternary-n and pyridinic-oxide-n.

Following the framework of E-n model(Eisenberg and noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in *** the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-n model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general ***,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion ***,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-n clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

Laboratory filtration experiments are employed to investigate effective well killing while minimizing its impacts on surrounding *** novelty of this experimental study lies in the prolonged exposure of rock samples to the killing fluid for seven days,corresponding to the average duration of well workovers in the oilfields in Perm Krai,*** findings indicate that critical factors influencing the interactions between rocks and the killing fluid include the chemical composition of the killing fluid,the mineralogical composition of the carbonate rocks,reservoir pressure and temperature,and the contact *** a.a.yses using multi-scale X-ray computed tomography,field emission scanning electron microscopy,and X-ray diffraction were conducted on samples both before and after the well killing *** experiments were performed using real samples of cores,crude oil,and the killing *** results from this study indicate that low-mineralized water(practically fresh water)is a carbonate rock *** water causes the dissolution of rock components,the formation of new calcite crystals and amoeba-like secretions,and the migration of small particles(clay,quartz,and carbonates).The formation of deep channels was also *** assessment reveals that the change in the pH of the killing fluid indicates that the observed mineral reactions were caused by carbonate *** combined phenomena led to a decrease in the total number of voids in the core samples,which was 25%on average,predominantly among voids measuring between 45 and 70μm in *** change in the pore distribution in the bulk of the samples resulted in decreases in porosity of 1.8%and permeability of 67.0%in the studied core *** results from this study indicate the unsuitability of low-mineralized water as a well killing fluid in carbonate *** composition of the killing fluid should be optimized,for example,in terms of the ionic composition of water,

B_(4)C/Al composites are widely utilized as neutron absorbing materials for the storage and transportation of spent nuclear *** order to improve the high-temperature mechanical properties of B_(4)C/Al composites,in-situ nano-Al_(2)O_(3)was introduced utilizing oxide on Al powder *** this study,the Al_(2)O_(3)content was adjusted by utilizing spheroid Al powder with varying diameters,thereby investigating the impact of Al_(2)O_(3)content on the tensile properties of(B_(4)C+Al_(2)O_(3))/Al *** was found that the pinning effect of Al_(2)O_(3)on the grain boundaries could hinder the recovery of dislocations and lead to dislocation accumulation at high *** the result,with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)content and the decrease in grain size,the high-temperature strength of the composites increased *** finest Al powder used in this investigation had a diameter of 1.4μm,whereas the resultant composite exhibited a maximum strength of 251 MPa.a. room temperature and 133 MPa.a. 350℃,surpassing that of traditional B_(4)C/Al composites.

Electrocardiogram(ECG)monitoring is used to diagnose cardiovascular diseases,for which wea.a.le electronics have attracted much attention due to their lightweight,comfort,and long-term *** study developed a wea.a.lemultilead ECG sensing system with on-skin stretchable and conductive silver(Ag)-coated fiber/silicone(AgCF-S)dry *** and normal adhesion to pigskin(0.43 and 0.20 n/cm2,respectively)was optimized by the active control of fiber density and mixing ratio,resulting in close contact in the electrode–skin *** breathableAgCF-S dry electrodewas nonallergenic after continuous fit for 24 h and can be reused/cleaned(>100 times)without loss of *** AgCF encapsulated inside silicone elastomers was overlapped to construct a dynamic network under repeated stretching(10%strain)and bending(90°)deformations,enabling small intrinsic impedance(0.3,0.1 Hz)and contact impedance variation(0.7 k)in high-frequency vibration(70 Hz).All hard/soft modules of the multilead ECG system were integrated into lightweight clothing and equipped with wireless transmission for signal *** synchronous acquisition of I–III,aVR,aVL,aVF,and V4 lead da.a.the multilead ECG sensing system was suitable for various scenarios,such as exercise,rest,and sleep,with extremely high signal-to-noise ratios.
