The Nyong River is situa.ed in south Ca.eroon. The study of the impa.t of clima.e cha.ge on the wa.er resource of the River shows tha. its precipita.ions a.d flow ra.e a.e decrea.ing. This nega.ive effect is reinforcing by the fa.t tha. the wa.er of the River is collected to feed the popula.ion of Ya.undé, the politica. ca.ita. of Ca.eroon a.d its environs. Given tha. no a.tion ca. stop the va.ia.ility of clima.e fa.tors, it is necessa.y to a.eliora.e the ma.a.ement of wa.er resource of Nyong River.

The cha.a.teriza.ion of ca.bona.ed rocks of Mintom a.lowed identifying three fea.ures (ma.sive limestone, ba.ded limestone a.d dolomite). Sa.ples ta.en in these fea.ures were subjected to the physico-chemica. a.a.yses a.d to the mecha.ica. tests. The results obta.ned show a.convergence in the minera.ogica. composition in pa.ticula. in the ca.ca.eous fea.ures (smectite, mica. a.d ca.cite);the dolomite fea.ure being ma.nly constituted by dolomite a.socia.ed with the smectite. The chemica. composition a.lows finding contents ra.sed in Ca., in a.l the sa.ples. However, in the dolomite a.d the ba.ded limestone, the concentra.ions in MgO a.d in SiO2 a.e a.so importa.t. The mecha.ica. properties showed a.good compression resista.ce for the ma.sive limestone a.d the dolomite, the mecha.ica. beha.ior of the ba.ded limestone being low. The exploita.ion of these results a.lows recommending ca.bona.ed rocks of Mintom in the production of the clinker, a.ricultura. a.endments a.d in the constructions of the civil engineering.
