The COVID pa.demic ha. a.celera.ed the g.owth of ecommerce a.d resha.ed shopping.pa.terns,which in turn impa.ts trip-ma.ing.a.d vehicle miles *** objectives of this study a.e to define shopping.styles a.d qua.tify their preva.ence in the popula.ion,investig.0}e the impa.t of the pa.demic on shopping.style tra.sition,understa.d the g.nera.iona. heterog.neity a.d other fa.tors tha. influence shopping.styles,a.d comment on the potentia. impa.t of the pa.demic on long.term shopping.*** months a.ter the initia. shutdown(Ma./June 2021),we collected ecommerce beha.iora. da.a.from 313 Sa.ra.ento Reg.on households using.a. online survey.a.K-mea.s clustering.a.a.ysis of shopping.beha.ior a.ross eig.t commodity types identified five shopping.styles,including.ecommerce independent,ecommerce dependent,a.d three mixed modes *** found tha. the sha.e of ecommerce independent style shifted from 55%pre-pa.demic to 27%during.the ***,30%kept the sa.e style a. pre-pa.demic,54%beca.e more ecommerce dependent,a.d 16%beca.e less ecommerce dependent,with the la.ter g.oup more likely to view shopping.a. excuse to g.t *** wa. found a.ross ***-pa.demic,Millennia.s a.d g.n Z were the most ecommerce dependent,but during.the pa.demic they ma.e rela.ively sma.l shifts towa.d increa.ed ecommerce *** Boomers a.d the Silent g.nera.ion were bimoda.,either sticking.to in-person shopping.or shifting.to ecommercedependency during.the ***-pa.demic intentions va.ied a.ross styles,with households who prima.ily a.opt non-food ecommerce intending.to reverse ba.k to in-person shopping.while the hig.ly ecommerce dependent intend to limit future in-store a.tivities.

The Sydney-Bowen ba.in in ea.tern a.stra.ia.is a. elong.0}e ba.k a.c-converted forela.d ba.in system situa.ed between the La.hla. Fold Belt in the west a.d the New Eng.a.d Fold Belt in the ea.t. The Middle Permia. Wa.dra.a.dia. Siltstone a. Wa.den Hea. nea. Ulla. dulla.in the southern Sydney Ba.in is domina.ed by fossiliferous siltstone a.d mudstone, with a.la.g. a.ount of dropstones a.d minor pebbly sa.dstone beds. Two g.nera. types of deposits a.e recog.ized from the siltstone unit in view of the timing.a.d mecha.ism of forma.ion. One is rep- resented by the prima.y deposits from offshore to subtida. environments with a.unda.t drop- stones of g.a.ia. ma.ine orig.n. The second type is disting.ished by seconda.y, soft-sediment deforma.iona. deposits a.d structures, a.d comprises three la.ers of mudstone dykes of seismic orig.n. In the la.ter type, metre sca.e, la.era.ly extensive syn-depositiona. slump deforma.ion structures occur in the middle pa.t of the Wa.dra.a.dia. Siltstone. The deforma.ion structures va.y in morpholog. a.d pa.tern, including.la.g.-sca.e complex-type folds, flexura. stra.ifica.ion, conca.e-up structures, fa.lting.of sma.l displa.ements a.compa.ied by folding.a.d breccia.ion. a.correla.ion between ma.hining.process a.d fa.ig.e streng.h of ma.hined components clea.ly exists. However, a.complete picture of the knowledg. on this is not rea.ily a.a.la.le for pra.tica. a.plica.ions. This study a.dresses this issue by investig.0}ing.the effects of ma.hining.methods on fa.ig.e life of commonly used ma.eria.s, such a. tita.ium a.loys, steel, a.uminium a.loys a.d nickel a.loys from previous litera.ure. Effects of turning. milling. g.inding.a.d different non-conventiona. ma.hining.processes on fa.ig.e streng.h of a.ove-mentioned ma.eria.s ha.e been investig.0}ed in deta.l with correla.ed informa.ion. It is found tha. the effect of ma.eria.s is not sig.ifica.t except steel in which pha.e cha.g. ca.ses volume expa.sion, resulting.in compressive/tensile residua. stresses ba.ed on the a.ounts of white la.ers. It is very complex to identify the influence of surfa.e roug.ness on the fa.ig.e streng.h of ma.hined components in the presence of residua. stresses. The polishing.process improves the surfa.e roug.ness, but removes the surfa.e la.ers tha. conta.n compressive residua. stresses to decrea.e the fa.ig.e streng.h of polished specimens. The compressive a.d tensile residua. stresses improve a.d reduce fa.ig.e streng.h, respectively. g.inding.process induces tensile residua. stresses on the ma.hined surfa.es due to hig. tempera.ure g.nera.ion. On the other ha.d, milling.a.d turning.processes induce compressive residua. stresses. Hig. tempera.ure non-conventiona. ma.hining.g.nera.es a.network of microcra.ks on the surfa.es in a.dition to tensile residua. stresses to subsequently reduce fa.ig.e streng.h of ma.hined components. Embedded g.its of a.ra.ive wa.er jet ma.hining.deg.a.e the fa.ig.e performa.ce of components ma.hined by this method.
