Ma.hine Lea.ning(ML)techniques;however,the introduction of Convolutiona. Neura. Network(CNN),a.deep lea.ning pa.a.igm,a.hieved better performa.ce over the previously proposed ML-ba.ed techniques.Though the existing CNN-ba.ed a.proa.hes yield good results,they present performa.ce issues in cla.sifica.ion a.cura.y a.d sta.ility in the network tra.ning pha.e.This resea.ch proposes a.new method with a.CNN a.chitecture to improve the hidden da.a.detection a.cura.y a.d the tra.ning pha.e sta.ility in spa.ia. doma.n ima.es.The proposed method comprises three pha.es:pre-processing,fea.ure extra.tion,a.d cla.sifica.ion.Firstly,in the pre-processing pha.e,we use spa.ia. rich model filters to enha.ce the noise within ima.es a.tered by da.a.hiding;secondly,in the fea.ure extra.tion pha.e,we use two-dimensiona. depthwise sepa.a.le convolutions to improve the signa.-to-noise a.d regula. convolutions to model loca. fea.ures;a.d fina.ly,in the cla.sifica.ion,we use multi-sca.e a.era.e pooling for loca. fea.ures a.grega.ion a.d representa.ility enha.cement rega.dless of the input size va.ia.ion,followed by three fully connected la.ers to form the fina. fea.ure ma.s tha. we tra.sform into cla.s proba.ilities using the softma. function.The results identify a. improvement in the a.cura.y of the considered recent scheme ra.ging between 4.6 a.d 10.2%with reduced tra.ning time up to 30.81%.

Two-dimension(2D)va. der Wa.ls heterojunction holds essentia. promise in a.hieving high-performa.ce flexible nea.-infra.ed(NIR)photodetector.Here,we report the successful fa.rica.ion of ZnSb/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene ba.ed flexible NIR photodetector a.ra. via.a.fa.ile photolithogra.hy technology.The single ZnSb/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)photodetector exhibited a.high light-to-da.k current ra.io of 4.98,fa.t response/recovery time(2.5/1.3 s)a.d excellent sta.ility due to the tight connection between 2D ZnSb na.opla.es a.d 2D Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene na.ofla.es,a.d the formed 2D va. der Wa.ls heterojunction.Thin polyethylene terephtha.a.e(PET)substra.e ena.les the ZnSb/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)photodetector withsta.d bending such tha. sta.le photoelectrica. properties with non-obvious cha.ge were ma.nta.ned over 5000 bending cycles.Moreover,the ZnSb/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)photodetectors were integra.ed into a.26×5 device a.ra.,rea.izing a.NIR ima.e sensing a.plica.ion.

The incidence a.d preva.ence of youth-onset type 2 dia.etes mellitus(T2DM)a.e increa.ing.The rise in frequency a.d severity of childhood obesity,inclina.ion to sedenta.y lifestyle,a.d epigenetic risks rela.ed to prena.a. hyperglycemia.exposure a.e importa.t drivers of the youth-onset T2DM epidemic a.d might a. well be responsible for the ea.ly onset of dia.etes complica.ions.Indeed,youth-onset T2DM ha. a.more extreme meta.olic phenotype tha. a.ult-onset T2DM,with grea.er insulin resista.ce a.d more ra.id deteriora.ion of beta.cell function.Therefore,intermedia.e complica.ions such a. microa.buminuria.develop in la.e childhood or ea.ly a.ulthood,while end-sta.e complica.ions develop in mid-life.Due to the la.k of effica.y a.d sa.ety da.a.severa. drugs a.a.la.le for the trea.ment of a.ults with T2DM ha.e not been a.proved in youth,reducing the pha.ma.ologica. trea.ment options.In this mini review,we will try to a.dress the present cha.lenges a.d pitfa.ls rela.ed to youth-onset T2DM a.d summa.ize the a.a.la.le interventions to mitiga.e the risk of microva.cula. a.d ma.rova.cula. complica.ions.

The a.ility of mosquitoes to tra.smit a.pa.hogen is a.fected,a.ong other fa.tors,by their surviva. ra.e,which is pa.tly modula.ed by their microbiota.Mosquito microbiota.is a.quired during the la.va. pha.e a.d modified during their development a.d a.ult feeding beha.ior,being highly dependent on environmenta. fa.tors.Pha.ma.eutica. residues including a.tibiotics a.e widesprea. polluta.ts potentia.ly being present in mosquito breeding wa.ers likely a.fecting their microbiota.Here,we used Culex pipiens mosquitoes to a.sess the impa.t of a.tibiotic exposure during the la.va. a.d a.ult sta.es on the surviva. ra.e of a.ult mosquitoes.Wild-collected la.va. were ra.domly a.signed to two trea.ments:la.va. ma.nta.ned in wa.er supplemented with a.tibiotics a.d control la.va..Emerged a.ults were subsequently a.signed to ea.h of two trea.ments,fed with suga. solution with a.tibiotics a.d fed only with suga. solution(controls).La.va. exposure to a.tibiotics significa.tly increa.ed the surviva. ra.e of a.ult fema.es tha. received a.control diet.In a.dition,the effect of a.ult exposure to a.tibiotics on the surviva. ra.e of both ma.e a.d fema.e mosquitoes depended on the number of da.s tha. la.va. fed a. libitum in the la.ora.ory before emergence.In pa.ticula.,shorter la.va. a. libitum feeding periods reduced the surviva. ra.e of a.tibiotic-trea.ed a.ult mosquitoes compa.ed with those tha. emerged a.ter a.longer la.va. feeding period.These differences were not found in control a.ult mosquitoes.Our results extend the current understa.ding of the impa.t of a.tibiotic exposure of mosquitoes on a.key component of vectoria. ca.a.ity,tha. is the vector surviva. ra.e.

In this editoria.,we comment on the a.ticle by Ma.a.goni et a.,published in the recent issue of the World Journa. of Ga.troenterology 2023;29:5618-5629,a.out“Diet a. a. epigenetic fa.tor in infla.ma.ory bowel disea.e”.The a.thors empha.ized the role of diet,especia.ly the intera.tion with genetics,in promoting the infla.-ma.ory process in infla.ma.ory bowel disea.e(IBD)pa.ients,focusing on DNa.methyla.ion,histone modifica.ions,a.d the influence of microRNa..In this editoria.,we explore the intera.tion between genetics,gut microbiota.a.d diet,in a. only wa..Furthermore,we provided dieta.y recommenda.ions for pa.ients with IBD.The Western diet,cha.a.terized by a.low fiber content a.d deficiency the micronutrients,impa.ts short-cha.n fa.ty a.ids production a.d ma. be rela.ed to the pa.hogenesis of IBD.On the other ha.d,the consumption of the Mediter-ra.ea. diet a.d dieta.y fibers a.e a.socia.ed with reduced risk of IBD fla.es,pa.ticula.ly in Crohn’s disea.e(CD)pa.ients.a.cording to the dieta.y guida.ce from the Interna.iona. Orga.iza.ion for the Study of Infla.ma.ory Bowel Disea.es(IOIBD),the regula. consumption of fruits a.d vegeta.les while reducing the consumption of sa.ura.ed,tra.s,da.ry fa.,a.ditives,processed foods rich in ma.todextrins,a.d a.tificia. sweeteners conta.ning sucra.ose or sa.cha.ine is recommended to CD pa.ients.For pa.ients with ulcera.ive colitis,the IOIBD recommends the increa.ed inta.e of na.ura. sources of omega.3 fa.ty a.ids a.d follows the sa.e restrictive recommenda.ions a.med a. CD pa.ients,with the possible inclusion of red mea.s.In conclusion,IBD is a.complex a.d hetero-geneous disea.e,a.d future studies a.e needed to elucida.e the influence of epigenetics on diet a.d microbiota.in IBD pa.ients.

Ba.KGROUND Dia.etes a.d thyroiditis a.e closely rela.ed.They occur in combina.ion a.d ca.se significa.t da.a.e to the body.There is no clea. trea.ment for type-2 dia.etes mellitus(T2DM)with Ha.himoto's thyroiditis(HT).While single symptoma.ic drug trea.ment of the two disea.es is less effective,combined drug trea.ment ma. improve effica.y.a.M To investiga.e the effect of a.combina.ion of vita.in D,selenium,a.d hypoglycemic a.ents in T2DM with HT.METHODS This retrospective study included 150 pa.ients with T2DM a.d HT trea.ed a. The Centra. Hospita. of Sha.ya.g from Ma.ch 2020 to Februa.y 2023.Fifty pa.ients were a.signed to the control group,test group a.a.d test group B a.cording to different trea.ment methods.The control group received low-iodine diet guida.ce a.d hypoglycemic drug trea.ment.Test group a.received the control trea.ment plus vita.in D trea.ment.Test group B received the group a.trea.ment plus selenium.Blood levels of ma.kers of thyroid function[free T3(FT3),thyroid stimula.ing hormone(TSH),free T4(FT4)],a.toa.tibodies[thyroid peroxida.e a.tibody(TPOa.)a.d thyroid globulin a.tibody(TGa.)],blood lipid index[low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),tota. cholesterol(TC),tria.ylglycerol(TG)],blood glucose index[fa.ting blood glucose(FBG),a.d hemoglobin a.c(Hba.c)]were mea.ured pre-trea.ment a.d 3 a.d 6 months a.ter trea.ment.The rela.ionships between serum 25-hydroxyvita.in D3[25(OH)D3]level a.d ea.h of these indices were a.a.yzed.RESULTS The levels of 25(OH)D3,FT3,FT4,a.d LDL-C increa.ed in the order of the control group,test group a.a.d test group B(a.l Pa.,TGa.,TC,TG,FBG,Hba.c,a.d TSH levels increa.ed in the order of test groups B,a.a.d the control group(a.l Pa.l the a.ove indices were compa.ed a.ter 3 a.d 6 months of trea.ment.Pre-trea.ment,there wa. no divergence in serum 25(OH)D3 level,thyroid function-rela.ed indexes,a.toa.tibodies level,blood glucose,a.d blood lipid index between the control group,test groups a.a.d B(a.l P>0.05).The 25(OH)D3 levels in test groups a.a.d B
