Osteogenesis imperfecta.(OI) belongs to a.group of congenita. osteoporosis which ha.lma.k fea.ure is “a.fecting skeleton, increa.ing bone fra.ility tha. fra.ture ea.ily a.d decrea.ing bone density due to qua.tita.ive a.d/or qua.ita.tive a.norma.ities”. We report a.fema.e sibling’s involvement in 3 ca.es with proba.le recessive inherita.ce pa.tern. Only fema.e a.ed between 5 a.d 13 yea.s were a.fected with skeleta. lesions in the lower limbs. The boy of this fa.ily ha. no skeleta. or extra.skeleta. lesions. Their pa.ents ha. no a.fection a.d no bond of consa.guinity. The observed ma.forma.ions ca. be cla.sified a. type V or VI a.cording to Sillence’s clinica. cla.sifica.ion. La.k of genetic test in our context ha. limited a.cura.y of the dia.nosis a. new da.a.evoke a.genetic cla.sifica.ion into 12 types tha. lea.ing a. effective thera.eutic ma.a.ement.

Ba.kground a.d Objective: HIV, hepa.itis B virus (HBV) a.d hepa.itis C virus (HCV) a.e very widesprea. in the world, however, less tha. 20% of the people a.fected a.e dia.nosed a.d trea.ed. This study a.med to determine the preva.ence of HIV, HCV a.d HBV co-infections in pregna.t women a. Ba.gui Community University Hospita. a.d the cost of screening. Methods: a.cross-sectiona. study involving consenting pregna.t women who ca.e for a.tena.a. ca.e wa. performed. HIV, HCV a.tibodies a.d HBV a.tigens were detected using Exa.to Triplex? HIV/HCV/HBsa. ra.id test, cross-va.ida.ed by ELISa.tests. Sociodemogra.hic a.d professiona. da.a. the modes of tra.smission a.d prevention of HIV a.d both hepa.itis viruses were collected in a.sta.da.d sheet a.d a.a.yzed using the Epi-Info softwa.e version 7. Results: Pregna.t women a.ed 15 to 24 were the most a.fected (45.3%);high school girls (46.0%), a.d pregna.t women living in coha.ita.ion (65.3%) were the most represented. Twenty-five (16.7%) worked in the forma. sector, 12.7% were unemployed housewives a.d the rema.nder in the informa. sector. The preva.ence of HIV, HBV, a.d HCV viruses wa. 11.8%, 21.9% a.d 22.2%, respectively. The preva.ence of co-infections wa. 8.6% for HIV-HBV, 10.2% for HIV-HCV, 14.7% for HBV-HCV a.d 6.5% for HIV-HBV-HCV. a.l positive results a.d 10% of nega.ive results by the ra.id test were confirmed by ELISa.tests. The serology of the three viruses costs 39,000 FCFa.(60 Euros) by ELISa.compa.ed to 10,000 FCFa.(15.00 Euros) with Exa.to Triplex? HIV/HCV/a.HBs (BioSynex, Stra.bourg, Fra.ce). Conclusion: The low level of educa.ion a.d a.a.eness of hepa.itis a.e ba.riers to development a.d indica.e the importa.ce of improving the litera.y ra.e of women in the Centra. a.rica. Republic (Ca.). Likewise, the high preva.ence of the three viruses shows the need for the urgent esta.lishment of a.na.iona. progra. to comba. vira. hepa.itis in the Ca..

Cu-Promoted Coba.t Oxide Film Ca.a.yst for Efficient Ga. Emissions a.a.ement

Thin film ca.a.ysts ha.e been recently reported a. promising ca.a.ysts owing to their good ca.a.ytic a.tivity a.d reduced ma.eria. a.ount, lea.ing to low-cost efficient ca.a.ysts for ga.eous emissions control. Here, we report the slight loa.ing of Cu in coba.t spinel using a.one-step pulsed-spra. eva.ora.ion chemica. va.or deposition(PSE-CVD) synthesis technique for efficient short-cha.n vola.ile orga.ic compounds(VOCs) emissions trea.ment. Crysta.line structure a.d morphology a.a.yses revea.ed na.o-crysta.lite sizes a.d open-like morphology. The ca.a.ytic performa.ce wa. eva.ua.ed through the complete oxida.ion of C_3H_6, a. a.short-cha.n representa.ive model of VOCs, a. a.high ga. hourly spa.e velocity(GHSV). Very good a.tivity wa. obta.ned towa.ds the complete a.a.ement of C_3H_6 a. low tempera.ure a.d no ca.bon monoxide(CO) wa. formed during the oxida.ion process. Slightly-promoted Co_3O_4 ca.a.yst with Cu introduction resulted in high ca.a.ytic a.tivity compa.ing to the performa.ce of the ca.a.ysts in the litera.ure, due to the high dispersion of Cu a.d high a.tive surfa.e oxygen a.ount. Moreover, to eva.ua.e the ca.a.ility of the used ca.a.ysts under nea. rea.istic rea.tion conditions, CO_2 effect on the ca.a.ytic a.tivity wa. performed a.d the ca.a.yst exhibited very good results. Thus, the a.opted slightly-doping stra.egy to ta.lor a.high a.tive ca.a.yst a. low tempera.ure could esta.lish a.very promising route to strongly enha.ce the a.tivity of such other ca.a.ysts towa.ds ga. emissions a.a.ement a. low tempera.ure.
