Macadam’s theory in RGB laser display

We have developed Macadam’s theory to deal with RGB laser display, which can well describe the color gamut display system varying with the laser bandwidth. By calculating the volume of R¨osch–Macadam color solid of laser display system under the Rec.2020 standard, we can obtain that the volume of chromatic stereoscopic at 30-nm laser spectral linewidth is about 90% of that at 1 nm laser spectral linewidth, which is important in laser display system to trade off the color gamut and the suppression of laser speckles. Moreover, we can also calculate the color gamut volume with different primary numbers and different primary wavelengths.

Ways on energy enhancement for single frequency oscillator are reported in this *** quantitative analysis on gain and loss coefficients for each cavity mode with inserted etalons,a 37 mJ,100 Hz high energy single-frequency Nd:YAG oscillator is *** pulse energy is promoted by enhancement of nearly 7 times for a single frequency oscillator *** result proves that this method does help for energy *** has attractive potential for high energy single frequency oscillator design,especially on condition of intensive side pumped or long cavity laser,where strong competitors exist and are hard to be suppressed.

We report the operation of aβ-BaB_(2)O_(4)(BBO)optical parametric oscillator(OPO)broadly tunable in the visible and the near *** efficiency of 22.7%for the signal and 34.1%for the idler corresponding to the total energy conversion efficiency of 25.9%has been *** maximum average output power and the maximum output energy reached 220m W and 22rnJ/pulse,*** changing the matching angle of the OPO,the output wavelength was continuously scanned throughout 425-2144nm.

In iron-based superconductor Fe（Se,Te）, a flat band-like feature near the Fermi level was observed around the Brillouin zone center in the superconducting state. It is under debate whether this is the evidence on the presence of the BCS–BEC[Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer（BCS）, Bose–Einstein condensation（BEC）] crossover in the superconductor. High-resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission measurements are carried out on high quality single crystals of FeSe0.45Te0.55superconductor to address the issue. By employing different polarization geometries, we have resolved and isolated the dyz band and the topological surface band, making it possible to study their superconducting behaviors separately. The dyz band alone does not form a flat band-like feature in the superconducting state and the measured dispersion can be well described by the BCS picture. We find that the flat band-like feature is formed from the combination of the dyz band and the topological surface state band in the superconducting state. These results reveal the origin of the flat band-like feature and rule out the presence of BCS-BEC crossover in Fe（Se,Te） superconductor.

According to the theory of DBR, with the P-type DBR as an example, the electrical characteristics and optical reflection of the DBR are analyzed by studying the energy band structure with various graded region widths and doping densities. The width and doping density of graded region are decided through a comparative study. The P-type DBR of 980 nm VCSELs is designed with Al0.9Ga0.1As and Al0.1Ga0.9As selected as the high and low refractive index material for the DBR. The 980 nm bottom VCSELs, which consists of 30 pairs P-type DBR and 28 pairs N-type DBR, are then fabricated. In P-type DBR, the width of graded region is 0.02 μm and the uniformity doping concentration is 2.5×10^18cm^-3. Its reflectivity is 99.9%. In N-type DBR, the width of graded region is also 0.02 μm and the uniformity doping concen- tration is 2×10^18cm^-3. Its reflectivity is 99.3%. The I-V curve shows that the series resistance of the device is about 0.05Ω.
