Effect of Dermabrasion and ReCell on Large Superficial Facial Scars Caused by Burn, Trauma and Acnes

Objective To explore the effects of dermabrasion combined with ReCell on large superficial facial scars caused by burn, trauma and acnes. Methods Nineteen patients with large superficial facial scars were treated by the same surgeon with dermabrasion combined with ReCell？. According to the etiology, patients were classified into post-burning group （n=5）, post-traumatic group （n=7） and post-acne group （n=7）. Fifteen patients completed the follow-ups, 5 patients in each group. Healing time, complication rate, the preoperative and 18-month-post-operative assessments using Patient Satisfaction Score （PSS）, Vancouver Scar Scale （VSS）, and Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale （POSAS） of each group were analyzed to compare the effect of the combined therapy on *** The healing time of post-burning group （19.6±4.0 days）, post-traumatic group （15.8±2.6 days）, and post-acne group （11.4±3.1 days） varied remarkably （F=7.701, P=0.007）. The complication rates were 60%, 20%, and 0 respectively. The post-operative POSAS improved significantly in all groups （P〈0.05）, where the most significant improvement was shown in the post-acne group （P〈0.05）. The post-operative PSS and VSS improved only in the post-traumatic group and post-acne group （all P〈0.05）, where the more significant improvement was also shown in the post-acne group （P〈0.05）. Conclusions The combined treatment of dermabrasion and ReCell has remarkable effect on acne scars, moderate effect on traumatic scars and is not suggested for burn scars. POSAS should be applied to assess the therapeutic effects of treatments for large irregular scars.

Skeletal muscle-derived cells repair peripheral nerve defects in mice

Surgical outcome and patient satisfaction after Z-epicanthoplasty and blepharoplasty

AIM: To evaluate surgical outcomes of modified Z-epicanthoplasty with blepharoplasty that we previously reported from the patient’s perspective using patient-reported outcome measures(PROMs) and patient satisfaction ***: A total of patients(n=180) who underwent the surgery between January 2013 and June 2016 were randomly selected. Standardized patient satisfaction forms(total score, 40) and validated PROMs questionnaires(total score, 12) were sent to patients for completion. PROMs assesses the severity of scarring, pain and asymmetry, as well as functional and appearance ***: All patients were female, ranging from 18 to 35 years old(mean=24). The response rate was 73.3%(n=132). The majority of patients reported good or excellent outcomes based on PROM analysis. Patients reported minimum or non-visible scarring at both the double eyelid surgical scar(85.6%) and the inner canthus(80.3%). Issues concerning function and appearance were minimal as 80.3% reported satisfaction with both domains. Notably, the majority of patients reported either a high or very high satisfaction rate to yield a mean score of 104 out of 120(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Integration of our modified Z-epicanthoplasty with blepharoplasty produces good outcomes based on PROM results, which shows a positive linear relationship with patient satisfaction scores.

The effects of austenite grain size on the deformed microstructure and mechanical properties of an Fe-20Mn-6Al-0.6C-0.15Si(wt.%)low-density steel were *** microstructure of the experimental steel after solution treatment was single austenitic *** austenite grain size increased with solution temperature and time.A model was established to show the relationship between temperature,time and austenite grain size for the experimental *** addition,as the solution temperature increased,the strength decreased,while the elongation first increased and then *** decrease in elongation after solution treatment at 1100℃ for 90 min is contributed to the over-coarse austenite ***,after solution treatment at 900℃ for 90 min,the strength-elongation product reached the highest value of 44.4 GPa%.As the austenite grain size increased,the intensity of//tensile direction fiber *** was accompanied by a decrease in dislocation density,resulting in a lower fraction of low-angle grain boundaries and a lower work hardening ***,the austenite grain size has a critical influence on the mechanical properties of the low-density *** grains lead to a lower yield strength due to the Hall-Petch effect and a lower tensile strength because of lower dislocation strengthening.

Mesozoic-Palaeozoic marine carbonate rocks are crucial hydrocarbon reservoirs in the Central Uplift area of the South Yellow Sea Basin(SYSB).Due to the scarcity of boreholes and the significant heterogeneity of carbonate reservoirs,the distribution of porous carbonate reservoirs and their related key controlling factors remain *** this study,factors affecting the distribution of porous Carboniferous-Early Permian carbonate reservoirs in the SYSB were investigated through seismic inversion and isotope *** log-seismic characteristics of porous carbonate reservoirs,sensitive lithology parameters,and physical property parameters were extracted and *** pre-stack simultaneous inversion technique was applied to predict the lithology and physical properties of porous carbonate ***,the sedimentary of carbonate was analyzed using isotopes of carbon,oxygen,and *** results show that porous carbonate reservoirs are mainly developed in the open platform sediments with porosities of 3%-5%and are mainly distributed in the paleo-highland(Huanglong Formation and Chuanshan Formation)and the slope of paleo-highland(Hezhou Formation).The porous carbonate reservoirs of the qixia Formation are only locally *** addition,the negativeδ13C excursions indicate a warm and humid tropical climate with three sea-level fluctuations in the study area from the Carboniferous to Early *** favorable conditions for developing porous carbonate rocks include the sedimentary environment and diagenetic *** primary pore tends to form in high-energy environments of the paleo-highland,and the secondary pore is increased by dissolution during the syngenetic or quasi-syngenetic *** to the hydrocarbon potential analysis,the Late Ordovician Wufeng Formation and Lower Silurian Gaojiabian Formation are the source rocks in the high-maturity-over-maturity stage,the Carboniferous-Lower Permian carbonate is the good reservoirs,and th

目的:采用消散因子石英晶体微天平(QCM-D)原位、实时和动态监测木瓜蛋白酶水解β-酪蛋白生物膜的动力学过程,比较不同浓度酶的水解效率。方法:用β-酪蛋白在QCM-D上建立体外蛋白膜模型,采用不同浓度的木瓜蛋白酶水解膜,观察频率和厚度的改变,运用Boltzmann方程对实验数据进行拟合,单因素方差分析和SNK-q检验比较水解参数B、Δh、V50和C。结果:随着酶浓度增大,膜的厚度Δh减薄,ΔF上升增多,水解参数B增大,C减小,V50缩短(P<0.05)。结论:在一定浓度范围内水解蛋白生物膜时,酶的水解效率随浓度增大而提高。

目的:观察蛋白质/色素复合膜和蛋白质单层膜分别经木瓜蛋白酶、菠萝蛋白酶、无花果蛋白酶3种巯基蛋白酶(CPs)水解后再吸附色素的能力。方法:在消散因子石英微天平(QCM-D)芯片表面分别自组装构建去磷酸化牛乳β-酪蛋白(Dβ-CN)/茶黄素(TF)复合膜和Dβ-CN单层膜,经3种CPs水解后,观察残余膜的厚度及其再吸附TF的质量;用SPSS 18.0软件对结果进行单因素方差分析,非线性回归法拟合曲线分析膜厚度与TF吸附量的相关性。结果:Dβ-CN/TF复合膜和Dβ-CN单层膜分别经3种CPs水解后,其厚度均明显减少(P<0.05);残余膜再吸附TF的量也显著下降(P<0.05),膜厚度与其吸附TF的质量呈非线性正相关。结论:巯基蛋白酶可降低蛋白质残余膜与TF亲和力,在清除和预防蛋白质色渍方面具有潜在应用价值。

Achieving ultralow leakage current in Schottky-MIS cascode anode lateral field-effect diode based on AlGaN/GaN HEMT

In this paper,we design and fabricate a Schottky-metal-insulator-semiconductor（MIS） cascode anode GaN lateral field-effect diode（CA-LFED） to achieve ultralow reverse leakage current(ILEAK).The device based on AlGaN/GaN highelectron-mobility-transistor（HEMT） includes a normally-off MIS-controlled channel that is cascoded with a high barrier height Schottky *** reverse bias,the high electric-field is effectively prevented by the normally-off MIS-controlled channel *** with the high barrier height Schottky contact,this feature significantly suppresses the *** by the device fabrication,the CA-LFED with high breakdown voltage（BV）>600 V shows an ultralow ILEAKof 3.6×10-9A/mm as well as a low forward voltage drop（VF） of 2.2 *** performance suggests that the CA-LFED can be a promising candidate for ultralow ILEAKand better VF-ILEAKtrade-off GaN power diode applications.

Microstructure characteristics and corrosion behavior of metal inert gas welded dissimilar joints of 6005A modified by Sc and 5083 alloys

The corrosion behavior and microstructure characteristics of metal inert gas(MIG)welded dissimilar joints of the 6005A alloy modified with Sc(designated as 6005A+Sc)and the 5083 alloy were investigated using corrosion tests and microscopy *** show that the dissimilar joints exhibit strong stress corrosion cracking(SCC)resistance,maintaining substantial strength during slow strain rate tensile ***,the heat-affected zone(HAZ)and base metal(BM)on the 6005A+Sc side show superior performance in terms of inter-granular corrosion(IGC)and exfoliation corrosion(EXCO)compared to the corresponding zones on the 5083 *** lower corrosion resistance of the 5083-BM and the 5083-HAZ can be attributed to the presence of numerous Al_(2)Mg_(3)phases and micro-scaled Al_(6)(Mn,Fe)intermetallics,mainly distributed along the rolling ***,the enhanced corrosion resistance of the 6005A+Sc-BM and the 6005A+Sc-HAZ can be attributed to the discontinuously distributed grain boundary precipitates(β-Mg_(2)Si),the smaller grain size,and the reduced corrosive current density.
