Osteoarthritis(OA)represents an enduring and widespread global burden,causing significant morbidity and disability,whose pathology is characterized by persistent inflammation,progressive cartilage degeneration,ab-normal bone homeostasis,and excessive synovial hyperplasia,resulting from its complex ***,current therapeutic approaches for OA remain suboptimal,prompting increased interest in ad-vanced nanotechnology as a means to enhance therapeutic *** recent years,significant progress has been made in the development of versatile nanoplatforms designed to the specific microenvironment of OA,resulting in promising results and introducing the concept of“OA nanomedicine”.Compared to the conventional therapies like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs),OA nanomedicine offers precise targeted,controllable and personalized ways for OA therapy,contributing to better ***,a comprehensive review consoli-dating the“OA nanomedicine”is currently absent from ***,in this review,we aim to unravel the key pathological and microenvironmental characteristics of OA while summarizing the properties and advantages of nanosystems possessing microenvironment-reprogramming capabilities for OA ***,we make a retro-spection of the features of OA pathology and OA ***,we provide an overview of the advances in OA ***,we discuss the present challenges associated with OA nanomedicine and provide insights into its future prospects from a clinical-translational *** doing so,this review can foster and propel the successful development of OA nanomedicine,addressing the unmet needs in OA therapy.

The oxidation behavior of the Al CoCrFeNiYTa_(x)high entropy alloy(HEA)doped with different Ta contents at 1100℃is *** this study,different reasons for the spallation of the oxide scales of HEAs without/with excessive Ta addition after 1000 h of oxidation are discussed,and the most suitable Ta doping content for this HEA is explored,in which the HEA exhibits both an exceptionally low oxidation rate,and the formation of oxide scales composed of intact a-Al_(2)O_(3).Meanwhile,it is found that the addition of Ta can effectively inhibit the phase transition ofβphase,which makes the surface of the oxide scale *** combining our experimental results with Wagner–Hauffe theory,the influence of Ta drag effect on oxide scale growth is explained,which provides some theoretical guidance for the subsequent design of AlCoCrFeNi HEAs,and can lead to the development of thermal barrier coatings at higher service temperature.

The continually-discovered large volumes of marine hydrocarbons indicate a huge exploration potential within the carbonate rocks of Ordovician in the Tarim Basin,northwestern *** Middle-Upper Ordovician(O2+3)carbonate source rocks are at a highly mature *** rocks presently contain a low amount of total organic carbon(TOC_(pd)≤0.5%)(TOC_(pd) means the present-day TOC).A mass balance approach is used to identify the source rocks that have expelled *** characteristics and origin of hydrocarbon expulsion from low-TOC_(pd) source rocks are studied,which are significant for oil exploration in the *** results showed that a low-TOC_(pd) O2+3 source rock having expelled hydrocarbons was type I and had a very narrow oil *** a high rock maturity and a high original TOC(TOCo)value exceeding 1%,nearly 80%of the generated hydrocarbons were *** content of gammacerane and C28 steranes in the oil and source rock extracts were relatively lean,with a V-shaped distribution of regular steranes,suggesting a possible genetic relation between the low-TOC_(pd) source rocks and the marine oil in the Tabei *** planktonic algae or acritarchs were the main hydrocarbon parent materials,distributed in the subsiding platform-slope *** matter was preserved under reducing conditions,and source rocks were formed with a favorable kerogen type and a moderate hydrocarbon generation *** study illustrates the hydrocarbon expulsion of low TOC_(pd) source rocks in northern Tarim Basin,which is greatly significant for analyzing the genesis of marine crude oil in Tarim Basin,and evaluating the distribution of marine source *** research method is theoretically significant for oil and gas exploration in the same type of highlymature carbonate paleobasins.

0 INTRODUCTION Sedimentary exhalative(SEDEX)lead-zinc deposit was traditionally considered as a result of submarine hydrothermal exhalation,including exhalative plume and brine pool models(Izanloo et al.,2022;Spinks et al.,2021;Maghfouri et al.,2020;Sangster,2020,2018;Huang et al.,2019;Rajabi et al.,2015;Goodfellow and Lydon,2007;Large et al.,2005,2001;Peng et al.,2000;Goodfellow et al.,1993;Figures 1a,1b).However,recognition of mineralization as subseafloor hydrothermal replacement in a few SEDEX deposits has challenged the traditional consideration(Magnall et al.,2023,2021,2020a,b;Hayward et al.,2021;Figure 1c).Researchers come to believe that subseafloor replacement rather than submarine exhalation is a dominant process for SEDEX mineralization,but this needs to be examined through more case studies.

In soil-rice systems,microbial reduction of iron （Fe） has been recognized as a crucial biogeochemical process that regulates Fe and chromium （Cr）translocation;however,the underlying processes are *** investigate the impacts of biochar on the biochemical cycling of Fe and Cr and their toxicity to rice,maize straw biochar was applied at 1%（weight/weight） to a paddy soil spiked with 300 mg kg-1Cr under two phosphorus （P） levels (0 or 90 mg kg-1) in a pot *** key microbial groups affecting Fe dissimilatory reduction and their environmental drivers were *** inhibited root Cr uptake by 36%,owing to the promoted iron plaque （IP） formation on the rice root *** analysis showed that Fe concentration in pore water was strongly linked to the abundances of Geobacter （r=0.81–0.94,P<0.05） and Clostridium （r=0.83–0.95,P<0.05）,indicating that Geobacter and Clostridium played essential roles in Fe *** analysis showed that labile carbon and pore water P concentrations were the key determinants influencing Fe-reducing bacterial abundances,accounting for 42%and 32%of the variation in community composition,***,biochar increased Fe and P concentrations in root cell walls,which retained more ***,Cr stress in rice under biochar treatment was relieved through increasing IP formation and altering subcellular *** mechanistic insights had important implications for reducing Cr uptake by rice.

Osteoarthritis(OA)is an aging-associated disease characterized by joint stiffness pain and destroyed articular *** treatments for OA are limited to alleviating various OA *** is a lack of drugs available in clinical practice that can truly repair cartilage ***,we developed the chondroitin sulfate analog CS-semi5,semi-synthesized from chondroitin sulfate *** vivo,CS-semi5 alleviated inflammation,provided analgesic effects,and protected cartilage in the modified Hulth OA rat model and papain-induced OA rat model.A bioinformatics analysis was performed on samples from OA patients and an exosome analysis on papain-induced OA rats,revealing miR-122-5p as the key regulator associated with CS-semi5 in OA *** prediction revealed that miR-122-5p acted on the 30-untranslated region of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase,which was related to MMP13 *** in vitro experiments revealed that CS-semi5 effectively reduced cartilage degeneration and maintained matrix homeostasis by inhibiting matrix breakdown through the miR-122-5p/p38/MMP13 axis,which was further validated in the articular cartilage of OA *** is the first study to investigate the semi-synthesized chondroitin sulfate CS-semi5,revealing its cartilageprotecting,anti-inflammatory,and analgesic properties that show promising therapeutic effects in OA via the miR-122-5p/p38/MMP13 pathway.

The anomalous photovoltaic(APV)effect is promising for high-performance ferroelectric materials and devices in photoelectric ***,it is a challenge how to tune the APV effect by utilizing the characteristic structure of ***,a domain engineering strategy is proposed to enhance the APV effect in lead-free 0.88(Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3))-0.12(Ba_(1–1.5x)S_(mx)TiO_(3))(NBT-BST)ferroelectric *** tuning the domain size based on Sm^(3+)doping,a maximum open-circuit voltage(VOC)of 18.1 V is obtained when Sm^(3+)content is 0.75%,which is much larger than its bandgap(Eg).The mechanism of this large VOC originates from the multiple positive effects induced by the small-size domain,where decreasing domain size enhances ferroelectric polarization and net interface barrier potential,leading to a large driving electric ***,the APV effect exhibits a giant temperature sensitivity due to the dramatic evolution of small-size domain in the temperature *** work sheds light on the exploration of ferroelectrics with APV effect and inspires their future high-performance optoelectronic device applications.

BACKGROUND Obesity in children and adolescents is a serious problem,and the efficacy of exercise therapy for these patients is *** To assess the efficacy of exercise training on overweight and obese children based on glucose metabolism indicators and inflammatory *** The PubMed,Web of Science,and Embase databases were searched for randomized controlled trials related to exercise training and obese children until October *** meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.3 software to evaluate the efficacy of exercise therapy on glucose metabolism indicators and inflammatory markers in obese *** In total,1010 patients from 28 studies were *** therapy reduced the levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG)[standardized mean difference(SMD):-0.78;95%confidence interval(CI):-1.24 to-0.32,P=0.0008],fasting insulin(FINS)(SMD:-1.55;95%CI:-2.12 to-0.98,P<0.00001),homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)(SMD:-1.58;95%CI:-2.20 to-0.97,P<0.00001),interleukin-6(IL-6)(SMD:-1.31;95%CI:-2.07 to-0.55,P=0.0007),C-reactive protein(CRP)(SMD:-0.64;95%CI:-1.21 to-0.08,P=0.03),and leptin(SMD:-3.43;95%CI:-5.82 to-1.05,P=0.005)in overweight and obese *** training increased adiponectin levels(SMD:1.24;95%CI:0.30 to 2.18,P=0.01)but did not improve tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)levels(SMD:-0.80;95%CI:-1.77 to 0.18,P=0.11).CONCLUSION In summary,exercise therapy improves glucose metabolism by reducing levels of FBG,FINS,HOMA-IR,as well as improves inflammatory status by reducing levels of IL-6,CRP,leptin,and increasing levels of adiponectin in overweight and obese *** was no statistically significant effect between exercise training and levels of TNF-α.Additional long-term trials should be conducted to explore this therapeutic perspective and confirm these results.
