BACKGROUND The relationship between autoimmune gastritis(AIG)and gastric polyps(GPs)is not well *** To explore the clinical characteristics and risk factors of AIG with GPs in *** This double center retrospective study included 530 patients diagnosed with AIG from July 2019 to July *** collected clinical,biochemical,serological,and demographic data were of each *** regression analyses,both multivariate and univariate,were conducted to pinpoint independent risk factors for GPs in patients with AIG *** operating characteristic curves were utilized to establish the optimal cutoff values,sensitivity,and specificity of these risk factors for predicting GPs in patients with *** Patients with GPs had a higher median age than those without GPs[61(52.25-69)years vs 58(47-66)years,P=0.006].The gastrin-17 levels were significantly elevated in patients with GPs compared with those without GPs[91.9(34.2-138.9)pmol/mL vs 60.9(12.6-98.4)pmol/mL,P<0.001].Additionally,the positive rate of parietal cell antibody(PCA)antibody was higher in these patients than in those without GPs(88.6%vs 73.6%,P<0.001).Multivariate and univariate analyses revealed that PCA positivity[odds ratio(OR)=2.003,P=0.017],pepsinogen II(OR=1.053,P=0.015),and enterochromaffin like cells hyperplasia(OR=3.116,P<0.001)were significant risk factors for GPs,while pepsinogen I was identified as a protective *** PCA positivity and enterochromaffin like cells hyperplasia are significant risk factor for the development of GPs in patients with *** gastrin-17 levels may also play a role in this *** findings suggest potential targets for further research and therapeutic intervention in managing GPs in patients with AIG.

As a potent grain refiner for steel casting,TiN is now widely used to refineγ-austenite in steel additive manufacturing(AM).However,the refining mechanism of TiN during AM remains unclear despite intensive research in recent *** work aims to boost our understanding on the mechanism of TiN in refining theγ-austenite in AM-fabricated 316 stainless steel and its corresponding effect on the mechanical *** results show that addition of 1 wt.%TiN nanoparticles led to complete columnarto-equiaxed transition and significant refinement of the austenite grains to∼2μm in the 316 *** and kinetic simulations confirmed that,despite the rapid AM solidification,δ-ferrite is the primary solid phase during AM of the 316 steel andγ-austenite forms through subsequent peritectic reaction or direct transformation from theδ-*** implies that the TiN nanoparticles actually refined theδ-ferrite through promoting its heterogenous nucleation,which in turn refined theγ-*** assumption is verified by the high grain refining efficiency of TiN nanoparticles in an AM-fabricated Fe-4 wt.%Siδ-ferrite alloy,in whichδ-ferrite forms directly from the melt and is retained at room *** grain refinement is attributed to the good atomic matching betweenδ-ferrite and *** refinement in the 316 steel through 1 wt.%TiN inoculation not only eliminated the property anisotropy but also led to a high strain-hardening rate upon plastic deformation and thereby a superior strengthductility synergy with yield strength of 561 MPa,tensile strength of 860 MPa and elongation of 48%.

Expansion dynamics of a spherical Bose–Einstein condensate

We experimentally and theoretically observe the expansion behaviors of a spherical Bose-Einstein condensate. A rubidium condensate is produced in an isotropic optical dipole trap with an asphericity of 0.037. We measure the variation of the condensate size in the expansion process after switching off the trap. The free expansion of the condensate is isotropic,which is different from that of the condensate usually produced in the anisotropic trap. We derive an analytic solution of the expansion behavior based on the spherical symmetry, allowing a quantitative comparison with the experimental measurement. The interaction energy of the condensate is gradually converted into the kinetic energy during the expansion and after a long time the kinetic energy saturates at a constant value. We obtain the interaction energy of the condensate in the trap by probing the long-time expansion velocity, which agrees with the theoretical calculation. This work paves a way to explore novel quantum states of ultracold gases with the spherical symmetry.

Linear,nonlinear dynamics,and sensitivity analysis of a vibratory ring gyroscope

The linear and nonlinear dynamic responses of a vibratory ring gyroscope are investigated in this study focusing on the response mechanism of such a vibratory gyroscope. It is found that the nonlinear equations governing the drive and sense directions are coupled through both inertial linear and geometric nonlinear terms. Nonlinear responses are studied based on the full coupled nonlinear dynamic equations. The varying amplitude on the sense direction is analyzed for different input angular rates. The effect of nonlinearity on the ring gyroscope system is performed by comparing the results of nonlinear responses to those of linear responses. The contributions of some parameters to the amplitude responses and gyroscope sensitivity are analyzed, the conclusions of which provide guidelines to improve the sensitivity of the vibratory ring gyroscopes.

Study on the correlation between abdominal infection and psychological stress in children based on nucleic acid detection

BACKGROUND Diagnosing and treating abdominal infection in children remains a *** acid detection,as a rapid and accurate diagnosis tool,has great significance in this *** To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal infection by nucleic acid detection and its possible correlation with psychological stress in *** A total of 50 pediatric patients diagnosed with abdominal infections between September 2020 and July 2021 were included in this ***-abdominal pus samples were collected for pathogen culture,drug susceptibility testing,and broad-spectrum bacterial nucleic acid *** stress,anxiety,depression,and coping styles were assessed using the coping with a disease(CODI)*** Based on susceptibility testing,a regimen of cefazoxime,piperacillin/tazobactam,and metronidazole or ornidazole achieved 100%effectiveness in treating *** assessments revealed a positive correlation between pressure level and both anxiety(r=0.324,P=0.001)and depressive disorders(r=0.325,P<0.001).Acceptance and distancing as coping strategies were negatively correlated with anxiety and depression,while negative emotional responses were strongly associated with increased anxiety(r=0.574,P<0.001)and depression(r=0.511,P=0.001).Coping strategies such as illusion and escape showed no significant correlation with emotional *** Nucleic acid testing helps in the diagnosis of abdominal infections in children,and also focuses on children's mental health.

Usage Count： A New Indicator to Detect Research Fronts

Purpose： Research fronts build on recent work, but using times cited as a traditional indicator to detect research fronts will inevitably result in a certain time lag. This study attempts to explore the effects of usage count as a new indicator to detect research fronts in shortening the time lag of classic indicators in research fronts detection. Design/methodology/approach： An exploratory study was conducted where the new indicator ＂usage count＂ was compared to the traditional citation count, ＂times cited,＂ in detecting research fronts of the regenerative medicine domain. An initial topic search of the term ＂regenerative medicine＂ returned 10,553 records published between 2000 and 2015 in the Web of Science （WoS）. We first ranked these records with usage count and times cited, respectively, and selected the top 2,000 records for each. We then performed a co-citation analysis in order to obtain the citing papers of the co-citation clusters as the research fronts. Finally, we compared the average publication year of the citing papers as well as the mean cited year of the co-citation clusters. Findings： The citing articles detected by usage count tend to be published more recently compared with times cited within the same research front. Moreover, research fronts detected by usage count tend to be within the last two years, which presents a higher immediacy and real-time feature compared to times cited. There is approximately a three-year time span among the mean cited years （known as ＂intellectual base＂） of all clusters generated by usage count and this figure is about four years in the network of times cited. In comparison to times cited, usage count is a dynamic and instant indicator. Research limitations： We are trying to find the cutting-edge research fronts, but those generated based on co-citations may refer to the hot research fronts.
