A community-based multi-center randomized controlled trial was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of blood pressure control for hypertension patients in communities in urban Shanghai by integrated *** present,patients(n=1395)from four communities have completed follow-up for one year,including the intervention group(n=921)and usual care group(n=474).The intervention programs included disease manage-ment by a care *** pressure of each patient was measured *** with the control group,the net change of mean systolic blood pressure(SBP)was–6.75(95%CI:–7.79 to–5.71,P<0.001)mmHg,mean diastolic blood pressure(DBP)was–4.29(95%CI:–5.08 to–3.49,P<0.001)mmHg,and mean pulse pressure(PP)was–2.46(95%CI:–3.50 to–1.43,P<0.001)mmHg in the intervention *** net change extent was larger in patients with regular pharmacological treatment than in those with irregular pharmacological treatment or non-pharmacological *** measures of integrated intervention for hypertension patients in communities can lower signiﬁ-cantly not only SBP and DBP,but also *** is suggested that measures of integrated intervention can decrease the risk of cardiovascular diseases in hypertension patients.

Multi-objective dimensional optimization of parallel kinematic manipulators(PKMs) remains a challenging and worthwhile research endeavor. This paper presents a straightforward and systematic methodology for implementing the structure optimization analysis of a 3-prismatic-universal-universal(PUU) PKM when simultaneously considering motion transmission, velocity transmission and acceleration transmission. Firstly, inspired by a planar four-bar linkage mechanism, the motion transmission index of the spatial parallel manipulator is based on transmission angle which is defined as the pressure angle amongst limbs. Then, the velocity transmission index and acceleration transmission index are derived through the corresponding kinematics model. The multi-objective dimensional optimization under specific constraints is carried out by the improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA Ⅱ), resulting in a set of Pareto optimal solutions. The final chosen solution shows that the manipulator with the optimized structure parameters can provide excellent motion, velocity and acceleration transmission properties.

The uncertainty of wind power forecasting significantly influences power systems with high percentage of wind power generation. Despite the wind power forecasting error causation, the temporal and spatial dependence of prediction errors has done great influence in specific applications, such as multistage scheduling and aggregated wind power integration. In this paper, Pair-Copula theory has been introduced to construct a multivariate model which can fully considers the margin distribution and stochastic dependence characteristics of wind power forecasting errors. The characteristics of temporal and spatial dependence have been modelled, and their influences on wind power integrations have been *** comparisons indicate that the proposed model can reveal the essential relationships of wind power forecasting uncertainty, and describe the various dependences more accurately.

B cells are generally considered to be positive regulators of the immune response because of their capability to produce antibodies, including autoantibodies. The production of antibodies facilitates optimal CD4＋ T-cell activation because B cells serve as antigen-presenting cells and exert other modulatory functions in immune responses. However, certain B cells can also negatively regulate the immune response by producing regulatory cytokines and directly interacting with pathogenic T cells via cell-to-cell contact. These types of B Cells are defined as regulatory B （Breg） cells. The regulatory function of Breg cells has been demonstrated in mouse models of inflammation, cancer, transplantation, and particularly in autoimmunity. In this review, we focus on the recent advances that lead to the understanding of the development and function of Breg cells and the implications of B cells in human autoimmune diseases.

Conifers respond to herbivore attack with defensive chemicals, which are toxic to both insects and their associated microorganisms. Microorganisms associated with insects have been widely reported to metabolize toxic chemicals, which may help both microorganisms and host insects overcome host conifer defense. Dendroctonus valens LeConte, an introduced exotic pest from North America to China, has killed millions of healthy pines. Alpha-pinene is the most abundant defensive monoterpene in Chinese Pinus tabuliformis. Although microorganisms associated with D. valens have already been investigated, little is known about their bioactivities when encountering host defensive monoterpenes. In this study, we evaluated the influences of different concentrations ofα- pinene to D. valens and the three most frequently isolated yeasts and bacteria ofD. valens, and further assayed microorganisms＇ capabilities to degrade α-pinene. Results showed that the gallery lengths and body weight changes of bark beetles were significantly affected by 6 mg/mL and 12 mg/mL of α-pinene applied in media compared to controls. The tolerance of experimental microorganisms to α-pinene varied depending on the microbial species. Two out of three yeast strains and all three bacterial strains degraded 20%-50% of α-pinene compared to controls in 24 h in vitro. The microorganisms capable of α-pinene degradation in vitro and their tolerance to high levels ofα-pinene suggested that D. valens- associated microorganisms may help both microorganisms and the bark beetle overcome host α-pinene defense.

Establishment of Real-Time TaqMan-Fluorescence Quantitative RT-PCR Assay for Detection and Quantification of Porcine Lipoprotein Lipase mRNA

Porcine lipoprotein lipase （LPL） cDNA was cloned as the standard for real-time quantifying LPL mRNA and the TaqMan-fluorescence quantitative PCR assay for detection was established. The total RNA extracted from Longissimus dorsi of porcine was reverse-transcribed to cDNA. LPL cDNA was ligated with pGM-T vector and transformed into Escherichia coli TOP10. Plasmid DNA extracted from positive clones was verified by PCR amplification and sequenced. LPL was amplified by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR from the plasmid DNA. The concentration of DNA template purified was detected by analyzing absorbance in 260 nm and then the combined plasmid was diluted to series as standard for fluorescence quantitative PCR （FQ-PCR）. The method of LPL mRNA real-time PCR was well established, which detected as low as 103 with the linear range 10^3 to 10^10 copies. The standard curves showed high correlations （R2 = 0.9871）. A series of standards for real-time PCR analysis have been constructed successfially, and real-time TaqMan-fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR is reliable to quantitatively evaluate FQ-PCR mRNA in L. dorsi of porcine.

Inducible pine rosin defense mediates interactions between an invasive insect-fungal complex and newly acquired sympatric fungal associates

Mutualism between insects and fungi drives insect evolutionary diversification and niche expansion;for invasive insects,however,mechanisms by which they maintain mutualistic relationships with beneficial fungi have not been clearly ***,we report that an invasive herbivorous insect,the red turpentine beetle(RTB),with its co-invasive mutualistic fungus,Leptographium procerum,has newly acquired a set of sympatric fungi during invasion,which could potentially outcompete the RTB mutualistic *** pine Pinus tabuliformis exhibited more rosin-based responses to the sympatric fungi than to RTB mutualistic fungus and,in return,the rapidly induced rosin suppressed the sympatric fungi more significantly than *** addition,from direct fungal pairing competitions,we found that the antagonistic effects of sympatric fungi on *** were drastically reduced under induced rosin *** results together with previous findings imply that pine oleoresin defense(turpentine and rosin)might have been exploited by the invasive mutualistic fungus ***,which helps to explain its invasion success and,by extension,its mutualistic partner RTB in China.
