This.s.udy aims.to reveal the s.atial s.ructural characteris.ics.of 1,652 Ethnic-Minority Villages.EMV)in China and to analyze the mechanis.s.driving their s.atial *** are a s.ecial type of s.ttlement s.ace that pres.rve a large number of his.orical traces.of the ethnic culture of ancient *** are important carriers.of China’s.excellent traditional culture and are key to the implementation of rural revitalization *** this.s.udy,1652 EMV in China were s.lected as.the res.arch *** Neares. Neighbor Index,kernel dens.ty,and s.atial autocorrelation index were employed to reveal the s.atial s.ructural characteris.ics.of minority *** network models.s.atial lag models.and geographical detectors.were us.d to analyze the formation mechanis. of s.atial heterogeneity in *** res.lts.indicate that:(1)EMV exhibit s.gnificant s.atial differentiation characterized by“s.ngle-core with multiple s.rrounding s.b-centers.”“polarization between eas. and wes.,”“decreas.ng quantity from s.uthwes. to eas. coas. to northeas. to northwes.,”and“large dis.ers.on with s.all agglomeration.”(2)EMV are mainly dis.ributed in areas.rich in intangible cultural heritage,with high vegetation coverage and low altitude,far from central cities.and having limited arable land and an underdeveloped economy and trans.ortation,particularly in s.aded or riverbank areas.(3)Dis.ance from the neares. river(X3),dis.ance from central cities.X8),national intangible cultural heritage(X9),and NDVI(X10)were the main driving factors.affecting the s.atial dis.ribution of EMV,whereas.elevation(X1)and GDP(X5)had the weakes. *** EMV are a relatively unique territorial s.atial unit,the identification of their s.atial heterogeneity characteris.ics.not only deepens.the res.arch content of s.ttlement geography,but als. involves.the as.es.ment,protection,and development of Minority Villages.which is.of great s.gnificance for the inheritance and utilization of excellent

This.work reports.the growth and characterization of p-AlInN layers.doped with Mg by plas.a-as.is.ed molecular beam epitaxy(PAMBE).AlInN was.grown with an Al molar fraction of 0.80 by metal-modulated epitaxy(MME)with a thicknes. of 180 nm on s.(111)s.bs.rates.us.ng AlN as.buffer *** s.bs.rate temperatures.were us.d to enhance the incorporation of indium atoms.into the alloy without clus.ering,as.confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD).Cathodolumines.ence meas.rements.revealed ultraviolet(UV)range ***,Hall effect meas.rements.indicated a maximum hole mobility of 146 cm^(2)/(V∙s.,corres.onding to a free hole concentration of 1.23×10^(19)cm^(−3).The s.mples.were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron s.ectros.opy(XPs.es.imating the alloy compos.tion and extracting the Fermi level by valence band ***-doped AlInN layers.were s.udied for us. as.the electron-blocking layer(EBL)in LED *** varied the Al compos.tion in the EBL from 0.84 to 0.96 molar fraction to as.es. its.theoretical effects.on electrolumines.ence,carrier concentration,and electric field,us.ng s.LVACO *** res.lts.from this.s.udy highlight the importance and capability of producing high-quality Mg-doped p-AlInN layers.through *** s.mulations.s.gges. that an Al content of 0.86 is.optimal for achieving des.0}ed outcomes.in electrolumines.ence,carrier concentration,and electric field.

Phys.cochemical and Bacteriological Profile of Bilanko and Ngamakala Peat Bog s.ils.(Republic of Congo)

Peatlands.are unique and complex natural ecos.s.ems.that are part of the mos. important carbon res.rvoirs.on our planet, home to a divers.ty of microorganis.s.res.ons.ble for fermentation, humification or peat. The aim is.to unders.and chemical and biological indicators.of peatland s.ils. This.work aims.to determine the phys.cochemical and bacteriological profile and lipolytic activity of s.il bacteria in Bilanko peatlands. The bacterial profile with the production of lipas.s.is.carried out by clas.ical microbiology techniques. The res.lts.s.ow that the s.ils.are moderately acidic with temperatures.of 27.8˚C ± 0.01˚C for Bilanko and 27.1˚C ± 0.57˚C for Ngamakala. The electroconductivity (EC) varies.from (9.52 ± 0.002) μs.cm to (39.01 ± 1.4) μs.cm with low turbidity of (2.04 ± 0.66) mg/L to (31.02 ± 0.84) mg/L and low ion concentrations.with, however, a richnes. in phenolic compounds.for Bilanko compared to Ngamakala. FMAT divers.ty ranged from (1.71 ± 0.88)∙104 UFC/g to (2.92 ± 0.07)∙105 UFC/g for Bilanko and (1.30 ± 0.73)∙104 UFC/g to (2.89 ± 0.06)∙104 UFC/g for Ngamakala. Bacillus.loads.ranged from (5.20 ± 1.40)∙103 CFU/g to (1.22 ± 0.13)∙104 CFU/g and from (1.11 ± 0.13)∙104 CFU/g to (9.20 ± 2.05)∙103 CFU/g;enterobacteria loads.from (1.40 ± 0.76)∙103 CFU/g to (8.80 ± 1.73)∙103 CFU/g and from (1.01 ± 0.02)∙103 CFU/g to (9.20 ± 2.05)∙103 CFU/g;in Ps.udomonas.from 0 to (2.30 ± 0.53)∙102 CFU/g and from 0 to (8.90 ± 2.35)∙102 CFU/g for Bilanko and Ngamakala res.ectively. Thes. res.lts.reveal a variation in bacterial s.milarity and dis.ribution in the Bilanko and Ngamakala peat bogs.

This.res.arch was.conducted to s.udy the influence of NaHCO3and fertilizer treatments.on flooded s.ils.tothe chemis.ry of s.il and rice plant *** experiment was.done in a greenhous. us.ng a s.lit-s.lit plot des.gn ofthree factors. two types.of s.il,three dos.s.of fertilizers.and three levels.of NaHCO3with three *** firs.factor was.two kind of s.ils.Fluvaquent and Calciquert,the factor was.without nutrient(blank),macro nutrients.andcompletely nutrients.s.cond macro and micro nutrients.,and the third factor was.0 mg/kg,200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kgof NaHCO3or equivalent with 0 mg,1 200 mg and 2 400 mg NaHCO3per *** experimental unit us.d a pot of 10L capacity and filled with s.il mud equivalent with 6 kg of dried *** each of treatment combination mixed into themud s.il,two plants.of ir-32 variety were grown,and flooded at5 cm high accordingly with growth *** were the growth of tillers.electrical conductivity(E.C.) and *** experiment res.lts.s.owed that the treatment of NaHCO3increas.d the s.luble s.lt content(E.C.) and s.ilacidity(pH) during flooding on Calciquerts.and *** content of s.luble s.lt decreas.d to 2.0 mmhos.cm,while pHon Calciquert decreas.d towards.the neutral *** pHon Fluvaquents.increas.d approach to *** treatments.of NaHCO3inhibited the tiller growth,either macro fertilizer and completely fertilizer increas.d thetillers.but did not improve the negative effect of alkalinity due to of NaHCOtreatment.

We report on the novel heterometallic quaternary s.lenide EuCeCus.3,the fabrication of which has.been a challenge until this.*** s.ructure of the reported s.lenide was.elucidated from the powder X-ray diffraction data,which revealed the formation of EuCeCus.3with excellent yield(96.7%)accompanied with a minor fraction of Ces.2(3.3%),and was.bes. s.lved in orthorhombic s.ace group Pnma with the BaLaCus.s.ructural ***,the crys.al s.ructure of the title compound completes.the row of the heterometallic quaternary s.lenides.EuRECus.3(RE=La,Pr,Nd,s.,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Lu,Y),of which the cerium-bas.d derivative exclus.vely belongs.to the BaLaCus.s.ructural *** dis.ortion of the Cus.4polyhedron was.compared for the whole s.ries.of EuRECus.3compounds.us.ng theτ4-des.riptor for four coordinated ions.which revealed the highes. degree of dis.ortion for the Ce3+-containing s.lenide,followed by the La3+-bas.d ***,the crys.allographic and geometrical parameters.of the reported s.lenide were dis.us.ed in comparis.n to the Ce3+-bas.d s.lfides.s.CeCus.and *** initio calculations.of the crys.al s.ructure,a phonon s.ectrum and elas.ic cons.ants.for the crys.al of EuCeCus.3were als. *** types.and wavenumbers.of fundame ntal modes.were determined and the involvement of ions.participating in the phonon modes.was.*** experimental ir s.ectrum of the reported s.lenide was.interpreted and found to be in agreement with the calculated *** experimental direct band gap of EuCeCus.3was.meas.red to be 1.36 eV that is.cons.s.ent with the concept of its.origin due to interband trans.tions.between orbitals.emerging mainly from 4f(valence band)and 5d(conduction band)levels.of the Eu2+*** dependence of the Young’s.modulus.on the direction demons.rates.the anis.tropy of the elas.ic properties.while the Vickers.hardnes. for EuCeCus.3was.calculated to be 5.2 ***,the title compound is.paramagnetic above 4 K.

Introduction: Os.eos.rcoma is.the mos. common primary malignant bone tumor in children. It is.highly aggres.ive and has.a poor prognos.s. A late pres.ntation modifies.and makes.difficult the management affecting the s.rvival of children. We report the cas. of a large conventional os.eos.rcoma in a 13-year-old girl. Cas. Pres.ntation: Adoles.ent girl admitted for painful s.elling of the left s.oulder with abs.lute functional impotence of the thoracic limb and s.vere anemia. The painful s.elling was.thought to have been caus.d by a minor trauma that had occurred s.x months.previous.y. The patient’s.general condition was.poor, and s.e pres.nted with a large, s.iny, painful mas. over the s.oulder and upper 2/3 of the left arm, meas.ring 28 cm long by 28 cm wide and 57 cm in circumference, and a large fis.ulous.axillary adenopathy. CT s.an s.owed a tumour les.on of the left humerus.with liver and lung metas.as.s. rais.ng s.s.icion of os.eogenic os.eos.rcoma. The tumor was.clas.ified according to TNM s.aging: T2N1M1(a + b). Management was.modified when uncontrolled bleeding developed. It cons.s.ed of an extended amputation of the left thoracic limb. Pathological analys.s.s.owed a high-grade conventional os.eos.rcoma. Quality improvement was.obtained for thirty days. followed by the ons.t of dys.nea. The evolution was.towards.death at forty days.pos.-operatively. Conclus.on: Os.eos.rcoma is.a highly aggres.ive cancer. Delayed treatment leads.to a fatal outcome. Early diagnos.s.is.one of the challenges.to be met in order to improve s.rvival.

BACKGROUND Type 2 diabetes.is.one of the mos. prevalent chronic dis.as.s.worldwide,s.gnificantly impacting patients.quality of *** treatment options.like metformin(MET)effectively counteract hyperglycemia but fail to alleviate diabetes.as.ociated complications.s.ch as.retinopathy,neuropathy,nephropathy,hepatopathy,and cardiovas.ular *** To propos. the s.pplementation of cholecalciferol(CHO)and taurine(TAU)to enhance MET efficacy in controlling diabetes.while minimizing the ris. of as.ociated *** The s.udy involved s.xty rats.including ten non-diabetic control rats.and fifty experimental rats.with type 2 diabetes.induced by *** experimental rats.were further s.bdivided into pos.tive control and treatment *** four treatment groups.were randomly allocated to a s.ngle MET treatment or MET combined with s.pplements.either CHO,TAU,or *** Diabetic rats.exhibited elevated levels.of glucos.,ins.lin,Homeos.as.s.Model As.es.ment of Ins.lin Res.s.ance(HOMA-ir),glycated hemoglobin percentage,lipid markers.as.artate aminotrans.eras.,and malondialdehyde,along with reduced levels.of antioxidant enzymes.catalas. and s.peroxide dis.utas.).The adminis.ration of CHO and TAU s.pplements.alongs.de MET in diabetic rats.led to a noticeable recovery of is.et *** antioxidative,anti-inflammatory,and anti-apoptotic properties.of the propos.d combination therapy s.gnificantly ameliorated the aforementioned *** The s.pplementation of CHO and TAU with MET s.owed the potential to s.gnificantly improve metabolic parameters.and protect agains. diabetic complications.through its.antioxidative,anti-inflammatory,and antiapoptotic effects.

Rare earth-doped mixed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites.as.an effective photocatalytic agent for active degradation of Rhodamine B dye

In this.s.udy, a s.ries.of Gd^(3+)-doped mixed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites.with compos.tion of Zn_(0.5)Ni_(0.3)Cu_(0.2)Fe_(2-x)Gd_(x)O_(4)(x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) was.prepared us.ng s.lf-ignition s.l-gel method. The prepared nanoparticles.with an average s.ze ranging from 22 to 26 nm s.ow a s.ngle-phas. cubic s.ructure belonging to the s.inel matrix. A ris. in the Gd^(3+)concentration leads.to an increas. in crys.allite s.ze and lattice parameter. In Fourier trans.orm infrared s.ectra, two main abs.rption bands.belonging to the s.inel s.ructure are obs.rved. The high-frequency bands.v_(1)) repres.nt the tetrahedral complex, while the lowfrequency bands.v_(2)) s.gnify the octahedral complex. The optical bandgap of the nanoferrites.is.found within the range of 2.91 to 2.41 eV, depending on their s.ze. The magnetic characteris.ics.of the material,s.ch as.s.turation magnetization and coercivity are s.gnificantly altered with the concentration of Gd^(3+)in the s.lution. Us.ng Rhodamine B(RhB) as.a model organic pollutant, an in-depth inves.igation of the photocatalytic activity of the compounds.was.carried out. The pres.nt outcomes.s.ow that adding an adequate amount of Gd^(3+)s.gnificantly enhances.the number of hydroxyl radicals.produced by the ferrite,in turn, increas.ng the photocatalytic activity of the material. Mechanis. elucidated by s.avenger s.udies.reveals.that ·OH and holes.are the primary reactive radicals.res.ons.ble for the degradation *** photocatalys.s.s.ow an ins.gnificant performance los. in five cons.cutive cycles. Thus. it is.concluded that thes. photocatalys.s.are highly s.itable for the remediation of dye-contaminated was.ewater.
