Dual carbon goal and agriculture in China:Exploring key factors influencing farmers’behavior in adopting low carbon technologies

Identifying the factors influencing farmers’adoption of low-carbon technologies(FA)and understanding their impacts are essential for shaping effective agricultural policies amied at emission reduction and carbon sequestration in *** study employs a meta-analysis of 122 empirical studies,delves into 23 driving factors affecting FA and addresses the inconsistencies present in the existing *** systematically examine the effect size,source of heterogeneity,and time-accumulation effect of the driving factors on *** find that significant heterogeneity in the factors influencing FA,except for farming experience,sources of heterogeneity from the survey zone,methodology model,technological attributes,report source,financial support,and the sampling ***,age,farming experience,and adoption cost negatively correlate with *** contrast,educational level,health status,technical training,economic and welfare cognition,land contract,soil quality,terrain,information accessibility,demonstration,government promotion,government regulation,government support,agricultural cooperatives member,peer effect,and agricultural income ratio demonstrate a positive ***,demonstration and age show a particularly strong ***,the effect of demonstration,age,economic and welfare cognition,farming experience,land contract,soil quality,information accessibility,government promotion,and support,as well as agricultural cooperative membership and peer effects on FA,are generally stable but exhibit varying degrees of attenuation over *** effect of village cadre,family income,farm scale,gender,health status,technical training,and off-farm work on FA show notable temporal shifts and maintain a weak correlation with *** study contributes to shaping China’s current low-carbon agriculture policies across various *** encourages policymakers to comprehensively consider the stability of key factors,other potential factors,technologic

This paper presents a calculation method that evaluates the extent of disturbance based on structural safety ***,it summarizes the assessment methods for construction disturbance zones in shield tunneling near pile foundations,urban ground structures,and underground ***,taking the construction of the Chengdu Jinxiu Tunnel under bridges and urban pipelines as the engineering background,a study on the disturbance zoning of adjacent structures was *** most intense disturbance occurs within one week of the tunnel underpass process,and it has a significant impact within a range of two times the tunnel diameter along the tunnel *** bridge pile and bridge deck experience less disturbance from tunnel approaching construction,with a maximum disturbance zone characterized as medium *** the other hand,underground pipelines are subjected to more significant disturbances from tunnel construction,with a maximum disturbance zone classified as strong *** implementation of“bridge pile sleeve valve pipe grouting&underground pipeline ground grouting&tunnel advance grouting”in the field effectively limits the vertical settlement of bridges and pipelines,resulting in a decrease of approximately 0.1 in disturbance level for the *** disturbance zoning method can assess tunnel disturbance with structures,identify high-risk interference locations,and facilitate targeted design reinforcement solutions.

To investigate the compression-shear behavior of a new circumferential joint based on the sleeve-straight bolt combination type connection of large-diameter shield tunnels,a series of full-scale joint experiments was carried *** the process of the experiment,more attention was paid to the specimen displacement,bolt stress and joint damage *** the basis of these experiment phenomena,this study discussed the compression-shear bearing process of the new connector,analyzed the damage mode of the joint structure,and finally evaluated the performance of the new *** is found that the bearing process of the joint can be divided into four stages:the transitional stage for overcoming the friction of the concrete,the sleeve bearing stage for the sleeve bearing shear loads alone,the combined bearing stage for bearing shear loads by the connector system,and the structural damage stage for structural instability and *** speaking,affected by connector position and hand hole,the positive compression-shear stiffness of the joint is less than the negative compression-shear stiffness,and the positive shear strength of the joint is greater than the negative shear *** increase of longitudinal axial force will improve the compression-shear performance of the *** relationship between longitudinal axial force and joint stiffness is a logarithmic *** use of new type of connector can effectively improve the compression-shear stiffness of joints under low shear loads,but the application of straight bolts will lose part of the strength performance.

Heterosis Analysis in Endogenous Substances in Root Bleeding Sap of Sorghum

Despite hybrid dominance contributing to the genetic improvement of crops,little is known about heterosis and inheritance patterns of endogenous substances in sorghum(Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench)root bleeding *** this study,six sterile and six restorer lines of sorghum and 36 hybrid sorghum combinations formulated as incomplete double-row crosses were selected as test materials,and heterosis,combining ability,heritability,and their interrelationships of root bleeding sap endogenous substances in different hybrid sorghum combinations and their parents were *** results showed that the root bleeding sap of the F1 generation of hybrid sorghum had a high heterosis in both soluble sugar content and amino acid content at the flowering stage,and the average high-parent heterosis was 129.34%and 74.57%,***-3-acetic acid(IAA),cytokinins(CTK),gibberellic acid(GA_(3)),abscisic acid(ABA),soluble sugar,amino acid,and root bleeding intensity were mainly affected by non-additive genetic effects of the *** protein was affected by additive genetic effects of the genes and had a high narrow heritability(75.50%),which could be selected at low generations in *** combining ability analyses showed that the sterile lines 521A and 170A,and the restorer lines Ji318R and 0–30 were promising parents with high general combining *** analysis showed that all endogenous substances of root bleeding sap were positively correlated with the sum of parental general combining ability(GCA)at highly significant levels,and IAA,CTK,GA_(3),ABA,soluble sugar,amino acid,and root bleeding intensity were positively correlated with male GCA at significant or highly significant ***,the GCA of the restorer lines root bleeding sap endogenous material or the sum of both parents’GCA can be used to predict the performance of wounding endogenous material in the F1 generation of hybrid ***,this study results can help elucidate hetero

Marine fouling is a worldwide challenge with huge damages on industrial structures,side effects on economics of industries,and environmental and safety-related *** approaches have been used for combating fouling in the marine ***,nanocomposite polymer coatings are a novel generation of antifouling coatings with merits of toxin-free chemical composition and ease of large-scale *** such as nano-metals,nano-metal oxides,metal-organic frameworks,carbon-based nanostructures,MXene,and nanoclays have antibacterial and antifouling properties in the polymer ***,these nanomaterials can improve the corrosion resistance,mechanical strength,weathering stability,and thermal resistance of the polymer ***,in this review paper,the antifouling nanocomposite coatings are introduced and antifouling mechanisms are *** review explicitly indicates that the antifouling efficiency of the nanocomposite coatings depends on the properties of the polymer matrix,the inherent properties of the nanomaterials,the weight percent and the dispersion method of the nanomaterials within the coating matrix,and the chemicals used for modifying the surface of the nanomaterials;meanwhile,the hybrids of different nanomaterials and appropriate chemical agents could be used to improve the antifouling behavior of the prepared ***,the theoretical studies are introduced to pave the way of researchers working on theantifouling coatings,and the importance of the theoretical studies and computational modeling along with the experimental research is notified to develop antifouling coatings with high efficiency.

Simulations of electron zebra stripes in the inner radiation belt using a composite empirical electric field model

The phenomenon termed “zebra stripes” manifests as regular patterns in the energy-space(L shell) spectrum of energetic electrons(ranging from tens to hundreds ke V) within the inner radiation belt. These structures exhibit drift-periodic behavior and commonly arise from large-scale electric field perturbations near the substorm onsets. In this study, we introduce a composite electric field model and replicate the formation, structure, and evolution of zebra stripes using a bounce-averaged test particle code under this electric field model. High-resolution measurements of energetic electrons obtained from the Van Allen Probes and the recently launched Macao Science Satellites-1 are used as initial conditions and served to validate our test particle simulations. Comparative analyses between observed data and simulations demonstrate our test particle method's efficacy in capturing zebra stripes' general behavior. Moreover, the composite model proves capable of reproducing realistic variations in the electric field within the inner radiation belt to a certain extent. Nevertheless, subtle differences emerge in the flux strength and the positions of stripes. These disparities primarily stem from limitations inherent in the electric field model and the initial conditions of the simulation. Acknowledging that the model represents an average case, it is conceivable that real-world scenarios may deviate from the average, thereby introducing variations in the observed phenomena.

Of 149 *** diarrhea were treated with zhou’s multiapplied rapid-sticking *** main acupoints selected were Auriculoapex,Tianshu(ST 25),Zusanli(ST 36),Shenshu(BL 23),*** groups were observed,32 cases from the 149 cases as therapid-sticking moxatherapy(RSMT)group who suffered from the acute diarrhea without any thera-peutics before,and the other 35 cases with western medicine as the control *** showedthat the recovering rate and the average therapeutic course of healing in RSMT group were higher andshorter than that in control one(P0.05).Of 149 cases with RSMT,the therapeutic effect onacute ones was better than those on delayed and chronic ones(P 0.0.5).It is therefore worthy of popularizing RSMT due to its remarked curative results without anyside-effect,simply-manipulated and well-accepted features.
