Building climate zones of major marine islands in China defined using two-stage zoning method and clustering analysis

The current scheme of building climate zones in China generally assumes that building climate zones of island cities are identical to adjacent land stations.Consequently,building design strategies for island buildings usually refer to those developed for inland cities.This approach has to some extent hindered the energy-saving design and green development of island buildings in China.This research takes a first step on this issue by defining the building climate zones of 36 marine islands over China marine area using two-stage zoning methodology adopted by current building climate zoning standard(GB50178-1993).The meteorological data used for analysis was obtained from the National Climate Center of China over the 30-year period from 1985 to 2014.As comparison,40 coastal stations which are adjacent to the inves-tigated marine islands were also included in this study.Subsequently a more obiective techni-que-cluster analysis was operated as an effective supplement to discover the climate characteristics among different observations.The results of both methodologies consistentlyshow that among the 36 islands investigated,the majority of islands located in northern and eastern marine area belong to the same climate zones as their adjacent coastal cities.Howev-er,island cities in southern marine area cannot be assigned to any current climate zone,which was demonstrated by its distinctive climate features different from any other sites investi-gated through cluster analysis as well as different energy use patterns.Thus a new zone was defined to supplement the current building climate zoning scheme to cover marine area of China.

【目的】阐明栗实象危害与不同品种板栗栗苞和栗实物理性状的关系,揭示栗苞和栗实物理性状对栗实象寄主选择的影响。【方法】以树龄20~30年的8个板栗品种为研究对象,调查栗实象对不同板栗品种的危害率,通过聚类分析评价其抗虫性,测量不同品种板栗的苞刺长度、苞刺密度、苞壳厚度、单果质量、果形指数、苞形指数6个物理性状,分析不同板栗品种危害率与其物理性状的关系。【结果】栗实象对不同板栗品种的危害率存在差异,危害率为21.89%~78.41%。栗实象对红栗的危害率最大,达到78.41%;对新早栗的危害率最低,仅为21.89%。根据抗虫性将8个板栗品种分为抗性较高、抗性中等、抗性较差3个类群。栗实象危害与板栗苞刺长度和苞形指数存在显著相关性,苞刺长度越短,苞形指数越大,危害率越高。【结论】栗实象偏好危害苞刺长度短、栗苞形状为近圆球形的板栗,苞刺长度和苞形指数可作为选育抗栗实象板栗品种的主要参考指标。

栗实象Curculio davidi是为害板栗Castanea mollissima的主要种实害虫,严重影响着板栗的品质和产量。为探明栗实象成虫触角感器类型、形态和分布,本文利用扫描电镜对栗实象雌雄成虫触角及触角感器进行观察。结果表明:栗实象雌雄成虫触角柄节、梗节、鞭节1~6亚节长度存在显著差异。雌、雄成虫触角上均有7类12种感器,包括4种刺形感器、2种锥形感器、1种叉形感器、2种毛形感器,1种B9hm氏鬃毛、1种腔形感器和1种端指形感器。其中雄虫刺形感器Ⅰ、毛形感器Ⅰ、叉形感器的长度显著长于雌虫,雄虫鞭节第7、8亚节的锥形感器数量显著多于雌虫。

轴承故障会引起双馈异步风力发电机转子气隙变化,产生不平衡磁拉力(UMP)。为准确揭示双馈异步风力发电机轴承故障振动特性,开展了考虑UMP的双馈异步风力发电机轴承外圈故障动力学建模研究。首先,基于赫兹接触理论构建了轴承外圈故障模型;然后,推导了正常和轴承故障下发电机转子的气隙磁密,得到了发电机转子受到的UMP解析式;最后,采用Runge-Kutta法对模型进行求解,得到了轴承故障振动响应。试验分析表明:所提动力学模型能够有效揭示双馈异步风力发电机轴承故障振动信号的双冲击现象,UMP激励会影响风力发电机轴承外圈故障振动信号的调制特性。为风力发电机轴承故障诊断提供了新的理论参考。

The multiple antibiotic resistance regulatory protein(MarR) binds to two promoter sites on the marO operator in Escherichia coli.Our study showed that more than one MarR dimer proteins bound to either of its two promoter sites(Site I and Site II),suggesting that MarR might form higher complexes than homodimers when bound to DNA inside E.coli cells.To further verify this hypothesis,we site-specifically incorporated a photocrosslinking probe at the interface between two MarR dimer proteins.Photolysis in living E.coli cells revealed a covalent linkage between the two interdimer subunits of MarR,suggesting that MarR forms dimer of dimers in vivo.

Enhancing SAEAs with unevaluated solutions:a case study of relation model for expensive optimization

Surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms(SAEAs) hold significant importance in resolving expensive optimization problems. Extensive efforts have been devoted to improving the efficiency of SAEAs through the development of proficient model-assisted solution selection methods, which, however, first requires generating high-quality solutions. The fundamental paradigm of evaluating a limited number of solutions in each generation within SAEAs reduces the variance of adjacent populations, thereby affecting the quality of offspring solutions. This is a frequently encountered issue yet receives little attention. To address the issue, this paper presents a framework using unevaluated solutions to enhance the efficiency of SAEAs.The surrogate model is employed to identify high-quality solutions for the direct generation of new solutions without evaluation. To ensure dependable selection, we have introduced two tailored relation models to select the optimal solution and the unevaluated population. A comprehensive experimental analysis is performed on two test suites, which showcases the superiority of the relation model over regression and classification models in the solution selection phase. Furthermore, the surrogate-selected unevaluated solutions with high potential have been shown to enhance the efficiency of the algorithm significantly.

Colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)are of interest for optoelectronic devices because of the possibility of high-throughput solution processing and the wide energy gap tunability from ultraviolet to infrared wavelengths.People may question about the upper limit on the CQD wavelength region.To date,although the CQD absorption already reaches terahertz,the practical photodetection wavelength is limited within mid-wave infrared.To figure out challenges on CQD photoresponse in longer wavelength,would reveal the ultimate property on these nanomaterials.What’s more,it motivates interest in bottom-up infrared photodetection with less than 10%cost compared with epitaxial growth semiconductor bulk.In this work,developing a re-growth method and ionic doping modification,we demonstrate photodetection up to 18μm wavelength on HgTe CQD.At liquid nitrogen temperature,the responsivity reaches 0.3 A/W and 0.13 A/W,with specific detectivity 6.6×108 Jones and 2.3×109 Jones for 18μm and 10μm CQD photoconductors,respectively.This work is a step toward answering the general question on the CQD photodetection wavelength limitation.
