Applying blockchain-based method to smart contract classification for CPS applications

Smart contract has been the core of blockchain systems and other blockchain-based systems since Blockchain 2.0.Various operations on blockchain are performed through the invocation and execution of smart contracts.This leads to extensive combinations between blockchain,smart contract,Internet of Things(IoT)and Cyber-Physical System(CPS)applications,and then many blockchain-based IoT or CPS applications emerge to provide multiple benefits to the economy and society.In this case,obtaining a better understanding of smart contracts will contribute to the easier operation,higher efficiency and stronger security of those blockchain-based systems and applications.Many existing studies on smart contract analysis are based on similarity calculation and smart contract classification.However,smart contract is a piece of code with special characteristics and most of smart contracts are stored without any category labels,which leads to difficulties of smart contract classification.As the back end of a blockchain-based Decentralized Application(DApp)is one or several smart contracts,DApps with labeled categories and open source codes are applied to achieve a supervised smart contract classification.A three-phase approach is proposed to categorize DApps based on various data features.In this approach,5,659 DApps with smart contract source codes and pre-tagged categories are first obtained based on massive collected DApps and smart contracts from Ethereum,State of the DApps and DappRadar.Then feature extraction and construction methods are designed to form multi-feature vectors that could present the major characteristics of DApps.Finally,a fused classification model consisting of KNN,XGBoost and random forests is applied to the multi-feature vectors of all DApps for performing DApp classification.The experimental results show that the method is effective.In addition,some positive correlations between feature variables and categories,as well as several user behavior patterns of DApp calls,are found in this paper.

How to Effectively Apply ChatGPT in Software Engineering Education?——A Perspective from Undergraduate Students

As a highly advanced conversational AI chatbot trained on extensive datasets,ChatGPT has garnered significant attention across various domains,including academia,industry,and education.In the field of education,existing studies primarily focus on 2 areas:Assessing the potential utility of ChatGPT in education by examining its capabilities and limitations;exploring the educational scenarios that could benefit from the integration of ChatGPT.In contrast to these studies,we conduct a user survey targeting undergraduate students specializing in Software Engineering,aiming to gain insights into their perceptions,challenges,and expectations regarding the utilization of ChatGPT.Based on the results of the survey,we provide valuable guidance on the effective incorporation of ChatGPT in the realm of software engineering education.

Meta-SEE:Intelligent and Interactive Learning Framework for Software Engineering Education Based on Metaverse and Metacognition

With the rapid evolution of technology and the increasing complexity of software systems,there is a growing demand for effective educational approaches that empower learners to acquire and apply software engineering skills in practical contexts.This paper presents an intelligent and interactive learning(Meta-SEE)framework for software engineering education that combines the immersive capabilities of the metaverse with the cognitive processes of metacognition,to create an interactive and engaging learning environment.In the Meta-SEE framework,learners are immersed in a virtual world where they can collaboratively engage with concepts and practices of software engineering.Through the integration of metacognitive strategies,learners are empowered to monitor,regulate,and adapt their learning processes.By incorporating metacognition within the metaverse,learners gain a deeper understanding of their own thinking processes and become self-directed learners.In addition,MetaSEE has the potential to revolutionize software engineering education by offering a dynamic,immersive,and personalized learning experience.It allows learners to engage in realistic software development scenarios,explore complex systems,and collaborate with peers and instructors in virtual spaces.

认知无线电和能量收集技术为解决频谱利用率低和电池受限的问题提供了思路。为解决来自窃听者的安全威胁所导致的信息泄露问题,本文研究应用无人机协同干扰来增强多用户的物理层安全,以最大化安全速率。在底层模式下UAV辅助的能量采集认知无线电系统中,采用多智能体近端策略优化算法,结合长短期记忆网络增强序列样本数据的学习能力,提高算法的训练效率和有效性。仿真结果验证了所提方法的有效性和扩展性。

Collaborative deep learning across multiple data centers

Valuable training data is often owned by independent organizations and located in multiple data centers. Most deep learning approaches require to centralize the multi-datacenter data for performance purpose. In practice, however, it is often infeasible to transfer all data of different organizations to a centralized data center owing to the constraints of privacy regulations. It is very challenging to conduct the geo-distributed deep learning among data centers without the privacy leaks. Model averaging is a conventional choice for data parallelized training and can reduce the risk of privacy leaks, but its ineffectiveness is claimed by previous studies as deep neural networks are often non-convex. In this paper, we argue that model averaging can be effective in the decentralized environment by using two strategies, namely, the cyclical learning rate(CLR) and the increased number of epochs for local model training. With the two strategies,we show that model averaging can provide competitive performance in the decentralized mode compared to the data-centralized one. In a practical environment with multiple data centers, we conduct extensive experiments using state-of-the-art deep network architectures on different types of data. Results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

基于多元模态分解与多目标算法优化的深度集成学习模型的超短期风电功率预测

针对风电功率预测问题,提出了一种基于多元变分模态分解(multivariate variational mode decomposition,MVMD)、多目标纵横交叉优化(multi-objective crisscross optimization,MOCSO)算法和Blending集成学习的超短期风电功率预测。在数据处理阶段,为了保持各序列间的同步相关性以及分解后得到本征模态函数(intrinsic mode functions,IMF)分量个数和分量频率相匹配,使用MVMD对多通道原始数据进行同步分解。针对单一机器学习模型导致预测的全面性不足,且存在精度和鲁棒性低的问题,提出基于MOCSO算法动态加权的Blending集成学习模型。通过对递归神经网络、卷积神经网络、长短期记忆网络的预测结果进行动态加权集成,并通过MOCSO优化调整权重,以提高模型的预测准确性与稳定性。实验结果表明,所提预测模型不仅有效,且显著优于其他预测模型。

Zebrafish facilitates drug screening: potential of 3-deoxy-andrographoside from Chuanxinlian(Herba Andrographitis Paniculatae) as an anti-inflammatory agent

OBJECTIVE: To systematically evaluate the in vivo antiinflammatory potential of diterpene lactones from Chuanxinlian(Herba Andrographitis Paniculatae)(AP). METHODS: We firstly adopted zebrafish, a novel and ideal animal model for high-throughput drug screening, to investigate the in vivo anti-inflammatory activities of 17 diterpene lactones isolated from AP.RESULTS: The results showed that most of diterpene lactones displayed significant anti-inflammatory effects in lipopolysaccharide microinjection-, copper sulfate exposure-or tail transection-induced zebrafish inflammation models. Moreover, diterpene lactone 3-deoxy-andrographoside(AP-5) was firstly found to attenuate inflammatory responses, which was closely associated with the myeloid differentiation primary response 88/nuclear factor-kappa B and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 pathways. CONCLUSION: Our research sheds light on the inestimable roles of zebrafish in high-throughput drug screening, elucidates the potent inhibitory effects of diterpene lactones against inflammation and indicates that AP-5 may serve as a potential alternative agent for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Service fault tolerance for highly reliable service-oriented systems: an overview

Service-oriented systems are widely-employed in e-business, e-government, finance, management systems, and so on. Service fault tolerance is one of the most important techniques for building highly reliable service-oriented systems. In this paper, we provide an overview of various service fault tolerance techniques,including sections on fault tolerance strategy design, fault tolerance strategy selection, and Byzantine fault tolerance. In the first section, we introduce the design of static and dynamic fault tolerance strategies, as well as the major problems when designing fault tolerance strategies. After that, based on various fault tolerance strategies, in the second section, we identify significant components from a complex service-oriented system, and investigate algorithms for optimal fault tolerance strategy selection. Finally, in the third section, we discuss a special type of service fault tolerance techniques, i.e., the Byzantine fault tolerance.

Opportunistic Relaying Schemes for Amplify and Forward Bidirectional Relay Channels with Multi antenna Sources

We consider a two-way relay network where the Amplify-and-Forward (AF) protocol is adopted by all relays in this paper.The network consists of two multi-antenna source nodes and multiple distributed single-antenna relays.Two opportunistic relaying schemes are proposed to efficiently utilize the antennas of the source nodes and the relay nodes.In the first scheme,the best relay is selected out by a max-min-max criterion before transmitting.After that,at each source,only the antenna with the largest channel gain between itself and the best relay is activated to transmit and receive signals with full power.In the second scheme,assisted by the best relay which is selected by the typical max-min criterion,both source nodes use all their antennas to exchange data,and match filter beamforming techniques are employed at both source nodes.Further analyses show that all schemes can achieve the full diversity order,and the conclusions are not only mathematically demonstrated but numerically illustrated.System performance comparisons are carried out by numerical methods in terms of rate sum and outage probability,respectively.The beamforming assisted scheme can be found to be superior to the antenna selection scheme when accurate Channel State Information (CSI) is available at the transmitters.Otherwise,the latter is very suitable.
