N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)plays an important role in embryogenesis,nuclear export,transcription splicing,and protein translation ***,we demonstrate a copper-free click chemistry-mediated assembly of single quantum dot(QD)nanosensor for accurately monitoring locus-specific m^(6)A in cancer *** m^(6)A-sensitive endoribonuclease MazF can digest the unmethylated A-RNA,and the intact m^(6)A-RNA then hybridizes with DNA probes a and b to produce a sandwich hybrid,initiating the click chemistry to generate probe a–b ligation product via first tandem ligation detection reaction(LDR)***,DNA probes c and d can hybridize with the probe a–b ligation product to generate the probe c–d ligation product via second LDR *** LDR cycles can be repeated through denaturation and annealing reaction to generate abundant biotin-/fluorophore-modified probe c–d ligation products that can easily assemble on the QD surface to induce distinct fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET)between QD and *** assay can be homogenously performed without the involvement of copper catalyst,m^(6)A-specific antibody,radioactive labeling,ligase enzyme,enzymatic reverse transcription,and next-generation ***,it can discriminate even 0.01% m^(6)A level in complex samples and accurately measure cellular m^(6)A-RNA expression,providing a promising avenue for clinical diagnostics and biomedical research.

Two-telescope-based solar seeing profile measurement simulation

Measurements of the daytime seeing profile of the atmospheric turbulence are crucial for evaluating a solar astronomical site so that research on the profile of the atmospheric turbulence as a function of altitude C_(n)^(2)(h_(n))becomes more and more critical for performance estimation and optimization of future adaptive optics(AO)including the multi-conjugate adaptive optics(MCAO)***,the S-DIMM+method has been successfully used to measure daytime turbulence profiles above the New Solar Telescope(NST)on Big Bear ***,such techniques are limited by the requirement of using a large solar telescope which is not realistic for a new potential astronomical ***,the AMASP(advanced multiple-aperture seeing profiler)method is more portable and has been proved that can reliably retrieve the seeing profile up to 16 km with the Dunn Solar Telescope(DST)on the National Solar Observatory(Townson,Kellerer et al.).But the turbulence of the ground layer is calculated by combining A-MASP and S-DIMM+(Solar Differential Image Motion Monitor+)due to the limitation of the twoindividual-telescopes *** solve these problems,we introduce the two-telescope seeing profiler(TTSP)which consists of two portable individual *** simulations have been conducted to evaluate the performance of *** find our TTSP can effectively retrieve seeing profiles of four turbulence layers with a relative error of less than 4%and is dependable for actual seeing measurement.

Micro segment analysis of supercritical methane thermal-hydraulic performance and pseudo-boiling in a PCHE straight channel

The printed circuit heat exchanger(PCHE) is receiving wide attention as a new kind of compact heat exchanger and is considered as a promising vaporizer in the LNG process. In this paper, a PCHE straight channel in the length of 500 mm is established, with a semicircular cross section in a diameter of 1.2 *** simulation is employed to investigate the flow and heat transfer performance of supercritical methane in the channel. The pseudo-boiling theory is adopted and the liquid-like, two-phase-like, and vapor-like regimes are divided for supercritical methane to analyze the heat transfer and flow *** results are presented in micro segment to show the local convective heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop. It shows that the convective heat transfer coefficient in segments along the channel has a significant peak feature near the pseudo-critical point and a heat transfer deterioration when the average fluid temperature in the segment is higher than the pseudo-critical point. The reason is explained with the generation of vapor-like film near the channel wall that the peak feature related to a nucleateboiling-like state and heat transfer deterioration related to a film-boiling-like state. The effects of parameters, including mass flow rate, pressure, and wall heat flux on flow and heat transfer were *** calculating of the averaged heat transfer coefficient of the whole channel, the traditional method shows significant deviation and the micro segment weighted average method is adopted. The pressure drop can mainly be affected by the mass flux and pressure and little affected by the wall heat flux. The peak of the convective heat transfer coefficient can only form at high mass flux, low wall heat flux, and near critical pressure, in which condition the nucleate-boiling-like state is easier to appear. FAT10 level in human gastric cancer and its relation with mutant p53 level,lymph node metastasis and TNM staging

AIM:To investigate the role of FAT10 and mutant p53 in the pathogenesis,severity and prognosis of gastric ***:FAT10,mutant p53 mRNA and protein levels were measured by reverse transcription(RT)-PCR and immunohistochemistry in gastric cancer tissue(n = 62),tumoradjacent tissue(n = 62) and normal gastric tissue(n = 62).Relation of FAT10 and mutant p53 expression with clinicopathological features and clinical outcomes of gastric cancer patients were ***:The FAT10,mutant p53 mRNA and protein levels were signif icantly higher in gastric cancer than in its adjacent and normal *** FAT10 and mutant p53 levels in gastric cancer tissue were significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and tumor,nodes,metastasis(TNM) ***,the high FAT10 level was associated with the overall survival rate of *** Cox-proportional hazards model analysis showed that mRNA and protein levels of FAT10 and mutant p53,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis and TNM stage were the independent prognostic factors for gastric ***:FAT10 may be involved in gastric carcinogenesis,and is a potential marker for the prognosis of gastric cancer ***10 and mutant p53 may play a common role in the carcinogenesis of gastric cancer.

The utilization of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))as a C1 feedstock is consistently attractive,especially in the preparation of sustainable polymeric *** this contribution,a terpolymer of CO_(2),1,3-butadiene(BD)and epoxide is synthesized by scandium triflate catalyzed cationic ring-opening copolymerization ofα-ethylidene-δ-vinyl-δ-valerolactone(EVL),an intermediate derived from CO_(2)and BD,with *** obtained terpolymer with a CO_(2)content of 22 mol%has a number-average molecular weight(M_(n))up to 7.8 kg/mol and a dispersity(Đ)of *** reactivity ratios of EVL and cyclohexene oxide(CHO)are determined as 0.01 and 1.07,respectively,suggesting random characteristic of the *** preserved C=C double bonds from BD allow for the further modification of the terpolymer by photoinitiated *** yielded networks are fluorescent and *** method offers enhanced versatility to the synthesis and additional functionalization of CO_(2)-based polymers.

Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts are the key core materials that determine the performance of fuel cells,metal-air batteries,electrolytic water decomposition,and other *** this work,a green lignin-based non-precious metal OER catalyst was prepared by a simple ***,c arboxylated lignin was used to complex Ni and Co in situ,and then they were placed with sodium hypophosphite in the same tube furnace for upstream and downstream high-temperature calcination to construct a lignin carbon-based Ni-Co bimetallic OER catalyst(NiCoP@C).The synthesized catalyst is a porous bimetallic phosphide with a three-dimensional network structure and high-density electrochemical active ***@C exhibited favorable catalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)with overpotential of 280 mV at 10 mA·cm~(-2)and a Tafel slope of 77 mV·dec~(-1).Additionally,it exhibited remarkable durability during *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that by leveraging the distinctive structure of transition metal phosphide nanoparticles incorporated into a reticulated substrate,the NiCoP@C catalyst offered an increased number of active sites for OER catalysis,significantly enhancing its stability during practical *** present study broadens the utilization pathways of biomass to"turn waste into treasure,"aligning the development concept of green sustainable development.

The SLEGS beamline of SSRF

The Shanghai Laser Electron Gamma Source(SLEGS, located in BL03SSID) beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF) is a Laser Compton Scattering(LCS) gamma source used for the investigation of nuclear structure, which is in extensive demand in fields such as nuclear astrophysics, nuclear cluster structure, polarization physics, and nuclear energy. The beamline is based on the inverse Compton scattering of 10640 nm photons on 3.5 GeV electrons and a gamma source with variable energy by changing the scattering angle from 20° to 160°. γ rays of 0.25-21.1 MeV can be extracted by the scheme consisting of the interaction chamber, coarse collimator, fine collimator, and attenuator. The maximum photon flux for 180° is approximately 10~7 photons/s at the target at 21.7 MeV, with a 3-mm-diameter beam. The beamline was equipped with four types of spectrometers for experiments in( γ,γ'),( γ,n),( γ,p), and( γ,α). At present, Nuclear Resonance Fluorescence(NRF) spectrometry, Flat-Efficiency neutron Detector(FED) spectrometry, neutron Time-Of-Flight(TOF) spectrometry, and Light-Charged Particle(LCP) spectrometry methods have been developed.

Semi-supervised remote sensing image scene classification with prototype-based consistency
