Chinese wingnut(Pterocarya stenoptera)is a medicinally and economically important tree species within the family ***,the lack of high-quality reference genome has hindered its in-depth *** this study,we successfully assembled its chromosome-level genome and performed multiomics analyses to address its evolutionary history and synthesis of medicinal components.A thorough examination of genomes has uncovered a significant expansion in the Lateral Organ Boundaries Domain gene family among the winged group in *** notable increase may be attributed to their frequent exposure to flood-prone *** further differentiation between Chinese wingnut and Cyclocarya paliurus,significant positive selection occurred on the genes of NADH dehydrogenase related to mitochondrial aerobic respiration in Chinese wingnut,enhancing its ability to cope with waterlogging *** genomic analysis revealed Chinese wingnut evolved more unique genes related to arginine synthesis,potentially endowing it with a higher capacity to purify nutrient-rich water *** of terpene synthase families enables the production of increased quantities of terpenoid volatiles,potentially serving as an evolved defense mechanism against herbivorous *** combined transcriptomic and metabolomic analysis,we identified the candidate genes involved in the synthesis of terpenoid *** study offers essential genetic resources for Chinese wingnut,unveiling its evolutionary history and identifying key genes linked to the production of terpenoid volatiles.

This article utilizes daily precipitation data from 28 national meteorological stations in northern Shanxi Province spanning from 1972 to 2020,and the US NCEP/NCAR monthly average reanalysis and ERA5 monthly average reanalysis *** study employs techniques such as empirical orthogonal function(EOF)decomposition,MannKendall mutation and other methods to investigate the spatiotemporal distribution of extreme precipitation index in northern Shanxi and their correlation with atmospheric *** research results show that:the absolute index,relative index,intensity index and sustained dry period index(CDD)in the continuous index appear from southwest to *** spatial distribution characteristics of the central region decrease,while the continuous wet period(CWD)decreases from the central to the east and *** three indices Rx1day,Rx5day,and CWD mutated in 1978,1975,and 1983 respectively,and other extreme precipitation indices all appeared in a sudden change from a low-value period to a high-value period occurred around *** the high-value years of the summer extreme precipitation index,there is a significant negative anomaly in the height field in the mid-high latitude regions of *** Shanxi is controlled by a broad low-pressure trough in the Lake Baikal *** vapor transported via the east,west,and south routes converges in the northern Shanxi region and encounters cold air from the *** is a strong upward motion anomaly at 500 hPa in the troposphere,and the dynamic conditions of upper-level divergence and lower-level convergence lead to more summer extreme precipitation in the northern Shanxi ***,in the low-value years of the summer extreme precipitation index,northern Shanxi is affected by a strong high-pressure ridge north of Lake *** is a downward motion anomaly at 500 hPa,and the northern Shanxi region lacks water *** cold and warm air cannot converge,and both the water vapor conditions

Microwave-assisted mechanical excavation has great application prospects in mines and tunnels,but there are few field experiments on microwave-assisted rock *** paper takes the Sishanling iron mine as the research object and adopts the self-developed high-power microwave-induced fracturing test system for hard rock to conduct field experiments of microwave-induced fracturing of iron *** heating and reflection evolution characteristics of ore under different microwave parameters(antenna type,power,and working distance)were studied,and the optimal microwave parameters were ***,the ore was irradiated with the optimal microwave parameters,and the cracking effect of the ore under the action of the high-power open microwave was *** results show that the reflection coefficient(standing wave ratio)can be rapidly(surface and the area of the high-temperature area under the action of the two antennas(right-angled and equal-angled horn antenna)are basically the same and decrease with the increase of working *** optimal microwave parameters are:a right-angle horn antenna with a working distance of 5 ***,in further experiments,the optimal parameters were used to irradiate for 20 s and 40 s at a microwave power of 60 kW,*** surface damage extended 38 cm×30 cm and 53 cm×30 cm,respectively,and the damage extended to a depth of about 50 *** drilling speed was increased by 56.2%and 66.5%,respectively,compared to the case when microwaves were not used.

Dynamic simulation insights into friction weakening effect on rapid long-runout landslides:A case study of the Yigong landslide in the Tibetan Plateau,China

This study proposed a novel friction law dependent on velocity,displacement and normal stress for kinematic analysis of runout process of rapid *** well-known Yigong landslide occurring in the Tibetan Plateau of China was employed as the case,and the derived dynamic friction formula was included into the numerical simulation based on Particle Flow *** showed that the friction decreased quickly from 0.64(the peak)to 0.1(the stead value)during the 5s-period after the sliding initiation,which explained the behavior of rapid movement of the *** monitored balls set at different sections of the mass showed similar variation characteritics regarding the velocity,namely evident increase at the initial phase of the movement,followed by a fluctuation phase and then a stopping *** peak velocity was more than 100 m/s and most particles had low velocities at 300s after the landslide *** spreading distance of the landslide was calculated at the two-dimension(profile)and three-dimension scale,*** with the simulation result without considering friction weakening effect,our results indicated a max distance of about 10 km from the initial unstable position,which fit better with the actual situation.

BACKGROUND This study aimed to explore the possible etiology and treatment of severe fetal tachycardia in the absence of organic disease and provide a reference for clinical management of severe fetal *** suMMARY A 29-year-old pregnant woman,with a gravidity 1 parity 0,presented with a fetal heart rate(FHR)of 243 beats per minute during a routine antenatal examination at 31+2 wk of *** termination of pregnancy at 38 wk of gestation,the FHR repeatedly showed serious abnormalities,lasting more than 30 ***,the pregnant woman and the fetus had no clinical symptoms,and repeated examination revealed no organic *** mother and the baby were regularly followed *** This was a case of severe fetal tachycardia with no organic lesions and management based on clinical experience.

Zero-dimensional(0D)hybrid metal halides,which consist of organic cations and isolated inorganic metal halide anions,have emerged as phosphors with efficient broadband ***,these materials generally have too wide bandgaps and thus cannot be excited by blue light,which hinders their applications for efficient white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs).The key to achieving a blue-light-excitable 0D hybrid metal halide phosphor is to reduce the fundamental bandgap by rational chemical *** this work,we report two designed hybrid copper(I)iodides,(Ph_(3)MeP)_(2)Cu_(4)I_(6)and(Cy_(3)MeP)_(2)Cu_(4)I_(6),as blue-light-excitable yellow phosphors with ultrabroadband *** these compounds,the[Cu_(4)I_(6)]^(2-)anion forms an I6 octahedron centered on a cationic Cu_(4)*** strong cation-cation bonding within the unique cationic Cu_(4)tetrahedra enables significantly lowered conduction band minimums and thus narrowed bandgaps,as compared to other reported hybrid copper(I)*** ultrabroadband emission is attributed to the coexistence of free and self-trapped *** WLED using the[Cu_(4)I_(6)]^(2-)anion-based single phosphor shows warm white light emission,with a high luminous efficiency of 65 Im W^(-1)and a high color rendering index of *** work provides strategies to design narrow-bandgap 0D hybrid metal halides and presents two first examples of blue-light-excitable 0D hybrid metal halide phosphors for efficient WLEDs.

Characteristic stress and strain precursor information for fine-grained granite during failure process under triaxial loading and unloading conditions

The unloading effect by excavation may cause irreversible and severe damage to the surrounding rock masses in underground *** this paper,both conventional triaxial compression(CTC)tests and triaxial unloading confining pressure(TUCP)tests were conducted on fine-grained granite to study its triaxial compression failure processes due to *** on the crack volumetric strain(CVS)method,the crack axial strain(CAS)method and crack radial area strain(CRAS)method were proposed to identify the failure precursor information(including stress thresholds and axial strain at the initiation point of crack connectivity stage)during the rock failure *** results of the CTC tests show that the stable crack development stressσsd,unstable crack development stressσusd,and crack connectivity stressσct identified by the CAS method are 6%,74%–84%,and 86%–97%of the peak stress,*** the TUCP cases,as the confining pressure increases,the stress thresholds,axial pressure at failure and axial strain at the start of the crack connectivity stage increase,while the time ratio of the crack connectivity stage to the entire unloading stage *** indicates that fine-grained granite is prone to generate more cracks and leads to fail suddenly under high confining ***,this new method demonstrates that the point at which the derivative of the radial crack area strain transitions from stable to a sudden increase or decrease is defined as the precursor point of rock *** results of axial strain at the starting point of the crack connectivity stage are very close to those predicted by the AE method,withβ1 no more than 11%.

Forsythia suspensa,belonging to the deciduous shrubs of the Luteaceae family,a traditional Chinese medicine,has effects of alleviating swelling,clearing heat,detoxification and promoting blood *** leaves of *** contain multiple chemical components and have a long history of use in folk medicines and health *** purpose of this study was to explore the effects of forsythin extract from *** leaves on intestinal microbiota and short-chain fatty acid(SCFA)content in rats with obesity induced by a high-fat *** extract in *** leaves increased the abundance of the intestinal microbiota,ameliorated intestinal microbiota disorders and inhibited the increase in total SCFA content in the intestinal tract in rats with obesity induced by a high-fat *** results suggested that forsythin extract in *** leaves may slow the development of obesity induced by a high-fat diet;thus,its active components and efficacy are worthy of further study.
