Diabetes mellitus(DM)is one of the major causes of mortality worldwide,with inflammation being an important factor in its onset and *** review summarizes the specific mechanisms of the cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate synthase(cGAS)-stimulator of interferon genes(STING)pathway in mediating inflammatory ***,it compre-hensively presents related research progress and the subsequent involvement of this pathway in the pathogenesis of early-stage DM,diabetic gastroenteropathy,diabetic cardiomyopathy,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,and other ***,the role of cGAS-STING in autonomic dysfunction and intes-tinal dysregulation,which can lead to digestive complications,has been ***,this study provides a comprehensive analysis of the research advances regarding the cGAS-STING pathway-targeted therapeutic agents and the prospects for their application in the precision treatment of DM.

A new calibration algorithm for multi-camera systems using 1D calibration objects is proposed. The algorithm inte- grates the rank-4 factorization with Zhang (2004)'s method. The intrinsic parameters as well as the extrinsic parameters are re- covered by capturing with cameras the 1D object's rotations around a fixed point. The algorithm is based on factorization of the scaled measurement matrix, the projective depth of which is estimated in an analytical equation instead of a recursive form. For more than three points on a 1D object, the approach of our algorithm is to extend the scaled measurement matrix. The obtained parameters are finally refined through the maximum likelihood inference. Simulations and experiments with real images verify that the proposed technique achieves a good trade-off between the intrinsic and extrinsic camera parameters.

During 6-10 January 2021,a recorded strong cold surge took place in China,with over 800 observational stations reaching their historical *** previous studies that focused on the response of either the power load or generation separately,this study quantitatively revealed the impacts on the balance between the demand and supply sides of the *** the demand side,the sensitivity of power load was found to increase substantially higher in southern China(0.533 GW°C^(−1))than in the northern region(0.139 GW°C^(−1))due to the limited municipal heating *** the supply side,the hourly wind power generation dropped from the highest of 110 GW on 6 January to the lowest of 54 GW on 9 January due to the reduction in wind *** addition,a reduction in solar power generation was observed during 8-10 ***,the balance of the power system was influenced by this cold *** an effective adaptation measure,results further showed that early warning by three weeks ahead can be obtained by an operational climate *** sensitivity of China's power system to such cold surge events may increase remarkably due to the expected increase in the proportion of wind and solar power generation in future new-type power ***,close cooperation between climate scientists and power engineers is needed to build the resilience of the power system to the cold extremes.

Herein,a novel single-atomic Pt doping and interface-rich CoS/Co(OH)_(2)(Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C)electrocatalyst has been successfully *** from precise regulation of d-orbital electronic structure modulation on Co site,Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C exhibited remarkable HER activity and high stability for hydrogen evolution in splitting both water(73 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2)) and seawater(87 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2)).Notably,atomic Pt doping was introduced into CoS/Co(OH)_(2),which could produce local unbalanced Coulombic force and significantly increased the number of S vacancies,and then expose abundant Co ***,Co(OH)_(2) in Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C could act as the adsorption sites for H_(2)O in hydrogen evolution reaction *** functional theory results also proved that atomic Pt doping,S vacancies and Co(OH)_(2) coupling could result in the formation of enriched electronic Co sites and optimize d_(z2) orbital electronic structure,and then realize the depth upward shift of d-band center and enhance the adsorption of H*on Co sites.

W–Cu refractory alloys are widely used in aerospace,aviation,electronics,power,and other fi ***,because of its large melting point diff erence between alloy elements,the conventional powder metallurgy method required a long time of high temperature sintering is very likely to cause low density and abnormal grain size ***,90W-10Cu refractory alloys were successfully prepared by hot oscillatory pressing(HOP)under diff erent sintering time in this *** the infl uence of sintering time on the microstructure,grain size,density,Vickers hardness,room-tensile property,and electrical conductivity of the W–Cu refractory alloy was systematically *** results showed that during the short sintering time(30–90 min),the density,Vickers hardness,tensile strength,and electrical conductivity of the W–Cu refractory alloy increased signifi cantly to 98.7%,163.29 HV 30,507.3 MPa,and 14.2%International Annealed Copper Standard with the sintering time increasing,respectively,while its grain size showed no obvious *** the sintering time further increased to 120 min,the density was basically consistent with the sintering time of 90 ***,the prolonged high temperature sintering resulted in the grain growth of the samples,which caused the deterioration of the Vickers hardness,room-tensile strength,and conductivity properties of the W–Cu refractory *** the same sintering time,the density,Vickers hardness,and electrical conductivity of the HOP sintered W–Cu refractory alloy were signifi cantly higher than those of the HP sintered *** was indicated that high density,fi ne-grain,and excellent properties W–Cu refractory alloys could be prepared by hot oscillatory pressing under appropriate sintering time.

As a lot of electromagnetic pollution and interference issues have emerged,to overcome electromagnetic interference,prevent electromagnetic hazards,and develop new high-performance electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers have become a significant task in the field of materials *** this paper,a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanofibers network with core-shell structure,embedded with varied molar ratios of iron and cobalt(4:0,3:1,2:2,1:3,0:4),was effectively synthesized(Fe/Co@C-CNFs)via *** phase,microstructure,magnetic and EMW absorption properties were *** is discovered that Fe/Co@C-CNFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:1 have excellent EMW absorption *** the matching thickness is 1.08 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RL)value is-18.66 dB,while the maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)reaches 4.2 GHz(13.9-18 GHz)at a thickness of 1.22 *** is owing to the absorbers'superior impedance matching and multiple reflections as well as the conductivity,dielectric,and magnetic losses of carbon nanofibers embedded with Fe-Co alloy *** addition,the radar cross section(RCS)of the absorbers has been calculated by CST Studio Suite,showing that the absorbing coating can effectively reduce the RCS at various angles,especially for Fe/Co@C-CNFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:*** findings not only provide new insights for the preparation of light-weight and high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers,but also contribute to energy storage and conversion.

To address the challenges associated with difficult casing running,limited annular space,and poor cementing quality in the completion of ultra-deep wells,the extreme line casing offers an effective solution over conventional ***,due to its smaller size,the joint strength of extreme line casing is reduced,which may cause failure when running in the *** address this issue,this study focuses on the CST-ZTΦ139.7 mm×7.72 mm extreme line casing and employs the elastic-plastic mechanics to establish a comprehensive analysis of the casing joint,taking into account the influence of geometric and material nonlinearities.A finite element model is developed to analyze the forces and deformations of the extreme line casing joint under axial tension and external collapse *** model investigates the stress distribution of each thread tooth subjected to various tensile forces and external ***,the tensile strength and crushing strength of the extreme line casing joint are determined through both analytical and experimental *** findings reveal that,under axial tensile load,the bearing surface of each thread tooth experiences uneven stress,with relatively high equivalent stress at the root of each thread *** end thread teeth are valuable spots for *** is observed that the critical fracture axial load of thread decreases linearly with the increase of thread tooth *** external pressure,the circumferential stress is highest at the small end of the external thread,leading to yield *** tensile strength of the joint obtained from the finite element model exhibits a relative error of less than 7%compared to the analytical and experimental values,proving the reliability of the finite element *** tensile strength of the joint is 3091.9 k ***,in terms of anti-collapse capability,the joints demonstrate higher resistance to collapse compared to the casing body,which is consistent with the test resul
