With global warming,glaciers in the high mountains of China are retreating ***,few data have been reported on whether greenhouse gases from these glaciers are released into the atmosphere or absorbed by glacial *** this study,we collected meltwater and ice samples from Laohugou Glacier No.12 in western China and measured CH_(4)and CO_(2)*** from the glacier terminus was continually sampled between 3 and 5 August 2020 to measure CH_(4)and CO_(2)*** results demonstrated that meltwater is a source of CH_(4)because the average saturations are over 100%.It could be con eluded that CH_(4)in the atmosphere can be released by glacial ***,the CO_(2)saturations are various,and CO_(2)fluxes exhibit positive(released CO_(2))or negative(absorbed CO_(2))values because the water and atmospheric conditions are *** importantly,the CH_(4)and CO_(2)concentrations were higher in meltwater samples from the glacier terminus than in samples from the surface ice(including an ice core)and a surface *** the meltwater effect from the upper part of the glacier cannot be excluded,we speculated that subglacial drainage systems with an anaerobic environment may represent the CH_(4)source,but it needs to be further investigated in the ***,high mountain glaciers are currently ignored in global carbon budgets,and the increased melting of glaciers with global warming may accelerate the absorption of much more CO_(2)and lead to the release of CH_(4).

Objective:To elucidate how spinal manipulative therapy(SMT)exerts its analgesic effects through regulating brain function in lumbar disc herniation(LDH)patients by utilizing resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-f MRI).Methods:From September 2021 to September 2023,we enrolled LDH patients(LDH group,n=31)and age-and sex-matched healthy controls(HCs,n=28).LDH group underwent rs-f MRI at 2 distinct time points(TPs):prior to the initiation of SMT(TP1)and subsequent to the completion of the SMT sessions(TP2).SMT was administered once every other day for 30 min per session,totally 14 treatment sessions over a span of 4 *** did not receive SMT treatment and underwent only one f MRI ***,participants in LDH group completed clinical questionnaires on pain using the Visual Analog Scale(VAS)and the Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA)score,whereas HCs did not undergo clinical scale *** effects on the brain were jointly characterized using the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(ALFF)and regional homogeneity(Re Ho).Correlation analyses were conducted between specific brain regions and clinical ***:Following SMT treatment,pain symptoms in LDH patients were notably alleviated and accompanied by evident activation of effects in the *** comparison to TP1,TP2 exhibited the most significant increase in ALFF values for Temporal_Sup_R and the most notable decrease in ALFF values for Paracentral_Lobule_L(voxelwise P30;FDR correction).Additionally,the most substantial enhancement in Re Ho values was observed for the Cuneus_R,while the most prominent reduction was noted for the Olfactory_R(voxelwise P30;FDR correction).Moreover,a comparative analysis revealed that,in contrast to HCs,LDH patients at TP1 exhibited the most significant increase in ALFF values for Temporal_Pole_Sup_L and the most notable decrease in ALFF values for Frontal_Mid_L(voxelwise P30;FDR correction).Fur

AIM:To assess the possibility of using different large language models(LLMs)in ocular surface diseases by selecting five different LLMS to test their accuracy in answering specialized questions related to ocular surface diseases:ChatGPT-4,ChatGPT-3.5,Claude 2,PaLM2,and ***:A group of experienced ophthalmology professors were asked to develop a 100-question singlechoice question on ocular surface diseases designed to assess the performance of LLMs and human participants in answering ophthalmology specialty exam *** exam includes questions on the following topics:keratitis disease(20 questions),keratoconus,keratomalaciac,corneal dystrophy,corneal degeneration,erosive corneal ulcers,and corneal lesions associated with systemic diseases(20 questions),conjunctivitis disease(20 questions),trachoma,pterygoid and conjunctival tumor diseases(20 questions),and dry eye disease(20 questions).Then the total score of each LLMs and compared their mean score,mean correlation,variance,and confidence were ***:GPT-4 exhibited the highest performance in terms of *** the average scores of the LLMs group with the four human groups,chief physician,attending physician,regular trainee,and graduate student,it was found that except for ChatGPT-4,the total score of the rest of the LLMs is lower than that of the graduate student group,which had the lowest score in the human *** ChatGPT-4 and PaLM2 were more likely to give exact and correct answers,giving very little chance of an incorrect ***-4 showed higher credibility when answering questions,with a success rate of 59%,but gave the wrong answer to the question 28% of the ***:GPT-4 model exhibits excellent performance in both answer relevance and ***2 shows a positive correlation(up to 0.8)in terms of answer accuracy during the *** terms of answer confidence,PaLM2 is second only to GPT4 and surpasses Claude 2,SenseNova,and *** the fact t

As a highly promising conductive polymer material,the synthesis method,structure regulation,and performance improvement of polyaniline(PANI)are hot research *** this work,the radiation-induced polymerization of aniline in HNO_(3)solution was successfully achieved at room temperature without the use of chemical *** the analysis of the radiation chemical reactions of inorganic acids and nitrate salt solutions,the characterization of the intermediate free radicals in the irradiated systems,and the influence of the pH of the solutions on the polymerization activity and product morphologies,the radiation-induced polymerization mechanism of aniline is discussed in detail and *** at a condition of[HNO_(3)]>[aniline],i.e.,pH<2.5,PANI can be successfully obtained underγ-ray *** polymerization begins with the oxidation of aniline cations to aniline cation radicals by·NO_(3)generated by radiolysis reactions,and undergoes repeated three steps of monomer free radical recombination,deprotonation,and oxidation reaction of·NO_(3),thus forming a PANI *** addition to the polymerization reaction,the aniline units are protonated and oxidized because of the strongly acidity and oxidation of the reaction system under γ-ray irradiation,which means that the molecular chain structure of the radiation-synthesized PANI can be regulated by pH,nitrate concentration,and irradiation ***-synthesized PANI has a moderate protonation and oxidation state,which can be used for the preparation of PANI supercapacitors with better electrochemical properties than those prepared by chemical oxidation under the same *** work presents a new radiation-synthesis method and polymerization mechanism of PANI,which not only expands the application of radiation technique in the field of polymer synthesis,but also provides a new idea for the structural regulation and electrochemical property optimization of PANI.

针对现有旅级指挥信息系统中存在服务器单点失效问题,设计并实现了基于路径与网络质量相结合的服务动态迁移机制.该机制基于分布式指挥系统,是服务器集群技术的应用.该算法有以下特点:可以针对不同请求分析网络质量,确定网络资源,制定动态阀值,形成节点候选方案;引入时间距离,并与负载组合,选择最佳迁移路径;取消前端服务器,实现系统容错,同时实现服务动态迁移.经实验证明,该算法与轮循算法相比,性能提高49.65%,一定程度上节约了时间成本.该算法已应用到旅级指挥信息系统中.

AIM:To investigate changes in local brain activity after laser assisted in situ keratomileusis(LASIK)in myopia patients,and further explore whether post-LASIK(POL)patients and healthy controls(HCs)can be distinguished by differences in dynamic amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(dALFF)in specific brain ***:The resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)data were collected from 15 myopic patients who underwent LASIK and 15 matched healthy *** method was selected to calculate the corresponding dALFF values of each participant,to compare dALFF between the groups and to determine whether dALFF distinguishes reliably between myopic patients after LASIK and HCs using the linear support vector machine(SVM)permutation test(5000 repetitions).RESULTS:dALFF was lower in POL than in HCs at the right precentral gyrus and right *** accuracy of the SVM was 89.1%(P<0.001).CONCLUSION:The activity of spontaneous neurons in the right precentral gyrus and right insula of myopic patients change significantly after *** can correctly classify POL patients and HCs based on dALFF differences.

为探究不同供油压力对离心喷嘴燃油雾化场的影响,结合燃油喷嘴雾化试验研究结果与燃油雾化气液两相流数值模拟分析,研究了不同工况下离心喷嘴的雾化特性。结果表明:随着燃油压力的提高,液体的动量比增大,雾化锥角在低供油压力时受供油压力影响,后受喷嘴结构影响,整体趋势为先增大后减小。液体在填充过程中,在喷嘴中心气相与液相交界处形成1个中心负压区,大量空气挤入该区,致使在喷嘴内部形成1个尾部呈锥形的空气涡。在旋流室上腔与雾化锥角下游区内侧,由于空气与液体剪切力的作用,出现多个小型涡结构,这些涡的结构与供油压力大小有关。当供油压力为0.4 MPa时,韦伯数较低,在液膜表面产生一种沿液膜表面以正弦方式变化的表面波;当供油压力为2.7 MPa时,韦伯数较高,液体柱状破碎由瑞利-泰勒(R-T)不稳定性主导。

Cross-species single-cell transcriptomics reveals neuronal similarities and heterogeneity in amniote pallium

The amniote pallium, a vital component of the forebrain,exhibits considerable evolutionary divergence across species and mediates diverse functions, including sensory processing, memory formation, and learning. However, the relationships among pallial subregions in different species remain poorly characterized, particularly regarding the identification of homologous neurons and their transcriptional signatures. In this study, we utilized singlenucleus RNA sequencing to examine over 130?000 nuclei from the macaque（Macaca fascicularis） neocortex,complemented by datasets from humans（Homo sapiens）,mice（Mus musculus）, zebra finches（Taeniopygia guttata）,turtles（Chrysemys picta bellii）, and lizards（Pogona vitticeps）,enablingcomprehensivecross-species comparison. Results revealed transcriptomic conservation and species-specific distinctions within the amniote pallium. Notable similarities were observed among cell subtypes, particularly within PVALB+inhibitory neurons,which exhibited species-preferred subtypes. Furthermore,correlations between pallial subregions and several transcription factor candidates were identified, including RARB, DLX2, STAT6, NR3C1, and THRB, with potential regulatory roles in gene expression in mammalian pallial neurons compared to their avian and reptilian counterparts. These results highlight the conserved nature of inhibitory neurons, remarkable regional divergence of excitatory neurons, and species-specific gene expression and regulation in amniote pallial neurons. Collectively,these findings provide valuable insights into the evolutionary dynamics of the amniote pallium.
