Highly Transparent and Adhesive Poly(vinylidene difluoride)Films for Self-Powered Piezoelectric Touch Sensors

With the rapid development of internet of things,self-powered touch sensors made of piezoelectric fluorinated polymers have attracted significant interest because they can constantly convert mechanical energy into electrical energy without external power ***,it is still challenging to fabricate fluorinated polymer films with good adhesion and high output performance with a large-scale and low-cost method while maintaining high transparency,which are extremely important for simultaneous optical detection and electromechanical *** this work,we demonstrate that the incorporation of a molecular ferroelectric-dabcoHReO_(4)(DH)into poly(vinylidene difluoride)(PVDF)solution enables high-throughput and low-temperature processing of flexible and transparent piezoelectric films by scalable processing *** effects of multiaxial DH are ***,DH can trigger the phase transition of PVDF fromα-toβ-phase and realize the orderly orientation of PVDF,which guarantees higher piezoelectric performance without any additional electrical poling ***,the hydrophilic nature of DH can improve the adhesion properties of PVDF,which in turn improve the stability and durability of the *** optimizing the fabrication processes,the transmittance of the piezoelectric touch sensors based on PVDF films and Ag nanowires coated poly(ethylene terephthalate)electrodes can be higher than 94%.The piezoelectric voltage constant g;of the transparent films can reach to 1.2 V·m·N;,which is at least three times higher than the commercially available PVDF films obtained by *** results indicate that the flexible piezoelectric sensors have potential applications in transparent electronic devices for mechanical sensing and energy harvesting.

A low-melting-point metal doping strategy for the synthesis of small-sized intermetallic Pt5Ce fuel cell catalysts

Carbon-supported platinum-lanthanum(Pt-Ln)intermetallic compound(IMC)nanoparticles with high activity and robust stability have been demonstrated as promising cathode catalysts for proton-exchange membrane fuel ***,the preparation of Pt-Ln IMC catalysts needs high-temperature annealing treatment that inevitably causes nanoparticle sintering,resulting in significant reduction of the electrochemical surface area and mass-based ***,we prepare small-sized M-doped Pt5Ce(M=Ga,Cd,and Sb)IMCs catalysts via a low-melting-point metal doping *** speculate that the doping of low-melting-point metals can facilitate the generation of vacancies in the crystal lattice through thermal activation and thus reduce the kinetic barriers for the formation of intermetallic Pt5Ce *** prepared Ga-doped Pt5Ce catalyst exhibits a higher electrochemical active surface area(81 m^(2)·gPt^(-1))and a larger mass activity(0.45 A·mgPt^(-1)at 0.9 V)over the undoped Pt5Ce and commercial Pt/C *** the membrane electrode assembly test,the Ga-doped Pt5Ce cathode delivers a power density of 0.98 W·cm^(-2)at 0.67 V,along with a voltage loss of only 27 mV at 0.8 A·cm^(-2)at the end of accelerated stability test.

Oxygen evolution reaction（OER） catalysts are the key core materials that determine the performance of fuel cells,metal-air batteries,electrolytic water decomposition,and other *** this work,a green lignin-based non-precious metal OER catalyst was prepared by a simple ***,c arboxylated lignin was used to complex Ni and Co in situ,and then they were placed with sodium hypophosphite in the same tube furnace for upstream and downstream high-temperature calcination to construct a lignin carbon-based Ni-Co bimetallic OER catalyst（NiCoP@C）.The synthesized catalyst is a porous bimetallic phosphide with a three-dimensional network structure and high-density electrochemical active ***@C exhibited favorable catalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction（OER） with overpotential of 280 mV at 10 mA·cm-2and a Tafel slope of 77 mV·***,it exhibited remarkable durability during *** functional theory（DFT） calculations revealed that by leveraging the distinctive structure of transition metal phosphide nanoparticles incorporated into a reticulated substrate,the NiCoP@C catalyst offered an increased number of active sites for OER catalysis,significantly enhancing its stability during practical *** present study broadens the utilization pathways of biomass to "turn waste into treasure," aligning the development concept of green sustainable development.

HgaNets:Fusion of Visual Data and Skeletal Heatmap for Human Gesture Action Recognition

Recognition of human gesture actions is a challenging issue due to the complex patterns in both visual andskeletal features. Existing gesture action recognition (GAR) methods typically analyze visual and skeletal data,failing to meet the demands of various scenarios. Furthermore, multi-modal approaches lack the versatility toefficiently process both uniformand disparate input ***, in this paper, an attention-enhanced pseudo-3Dresidual model is proposed to address the GAR problem, called HgaNets. This model comprises two independentcomponents designed formodeling visual RGB (red, green and blue) images and 3Dskeletal heatmaps, *** specifically, each component consists of two main parts: 1) a multi-dimensional attention module forcapturing important spatial, temporal and feature information in human gestures;2) a spatiotemporal convolutionmodule that utilizes pseudo-3D residual convolution to characterize spatiotemporal features of gestures. Then,the output weights of the two components are fused to generate the recognition results. Finally, we conductedexperiments on four datasets to assess the efficiency of the proposed model. The results show that the accuracy onfour datasets reaches 85.40%, 91.91%, 94.70%, and 95.30%, respectively, as well as the inference time is 0.54 s andthe parameters is 2.74M. These findings highlight that the proposed model outperforms other existing approachesin terms of recognition accuracy.

Chain Dynamics Heterogeneity in Plasticized Poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) as Elucidated by Solid-State NMR

The chain dynamics heterogeneity of the poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) plasticized by triethylene glycol bis(2-ethylhexa noate)(TEG-EH) was investigated by various solid-state NMR *** plasticized PVB shows two domains in distinct molecular dynamics differences,namely,rigid and soft domains,where the latter is the plasticizer-rich *** time domain low field NMR was first used to investigate the dynamics heterogeneity of the plasticized PVB,and the results show the decreasing activated energy of components in the soft domain of plasticized PVB(E_a=20.2 kJ/mol) as compared with that of the pristine one(E_a=24.3 kJ/mol).Detailed dynamics heterogeneity was obtained by high-field NMR with site-specific *** quadrupole-echo ~2H-NMR was adopted to elucidate the dynamics heterogeneity of the vinyl alcohol(VA) units,where only the hydroxyl group of VA is *** ~1H-^(13)C WISE NMR spectra show that there is not much difference in the mobility of the VB unit in PVB with and without plasticizer,whereas the glass transition temperature differed by approximately 53℃.This is further supported by Torchia's T_1 relaxation *** origin of such an unusual phenomenon is attributed to the critical role of the remaining VA(~22%) in the soft domain,where the VA units locally aggregate through hydrogen ***,the existence of a mobility gradient in the VB unit has been ***,the mobility difference for VB with different stereo-geometry(meso or racemic conformation) is observed for the first *** indicates the importance of modulating the ratio of meso over racemic VB for controlling the macroscopic perfo rmance of PVB.

Microstructural evolution,mechanical properties and degradation mechanism of PS-PVD quasi-columnar thermal barrier coatings exposed to glassy CMAS deposits

Thermal barrier coatings（TBCs） applied in aeroengines tend to be attacked by molten calcia-magnesiaalumino-silicate（CMAS） at high operating ***-stabilized zirconia（YSZ） coatings with quasicolumnar microstructure were fabricated by plasma spray physical vapor deposition（PS-PVD） *** chemic al changes,micros tructural transform ation,mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms of the CM AS-interacted TBCs in the thermal cycling tests were *** YSZ grains were dissolved in the CMAS melts,and then the ZrO2grains were reprecipitated with spherical shape,accompanying with phase transformation from tetragonal（t） to monoclinic（m）.The thermal cycling tests reveal that the YSZ coating fails at the early stage due to the attack of *** fractures in intracolumns lead to partial spallation of the *** failure of the coating occurs at the interfaces between thermally grown oxides（TGO） layer and YSZ topcoat;especially,the hardness and Young's modulus of the YSZ coatings increase intensively,as the coatings were infiltrated by the CMAS for a long time.

Modeling and analysis of air combustion and steam regeneration in methanol to olefins processes

Light olefins is the incredibly important materials in chemical *** to olefins(MTO),which provides a non-oil route for light olefins production,received considerable attention in the past ***,the catalyst deactivation is an inevitable feature in MTO processes,and regeneration,therefore,is one of the key steps in industrial MTO *** the MTO catalyst is regenerated by removing the deposited coke via air combustion,which unavoidably transforms coke into carbon dioxide and reduces the carbon utilization *** study shows that the coke species over MTO catalyst can be regenerated via steam,which can promote the light olefins yield as the deactivated coke species can be essentially transferred to industrially useful synthesis gas,is a promising pathway for further MTO processes *** this work,we modelled and analyzed these two MTO regeneration methods in terms of carbon utilization efficiency and technology *** shown,the steam regeneration could achieve a carbon utilization efficiency of 84.31%,compared to 74.74%for air combustion *** MTO processes using steam regeneration can essentially achieve the near-zero carbon *** addition,light olefins production of the MTO processes using steam regeneration is 12.81%higher than that using air combustion *** this regard,steam regeneration could be considered as a potential yet promising regeneration method for further MTO processes,showing not only great environmental benefits but also competitive economic performance.

Mechanical Performance of Bio-inspired Bidirectional Corrugated Sandwich Pressure Shell Under External Hydrostatic Pressure

This paper aims to enhance the compression capacity of underwater cylindrical shells by adopting the corrugated sandwich structure of *** cuttlebone suffers uniaxial external compression,while underwater cylindrical shells are in a biaxial compressive stress *** suit the biaxial compressive stress state,a novel bidirectional corrugated sandwich structure is proposed to improve the bearing capacity of cylindrical *** static and buckling analysis for the sandwich shell and the unstiffened cylindrical shell with the same volume-weight ratio are studied by numerical *** is indicated that the proposed sandwich shell can effectively reduce the ratio between circumferential and axial stress from 2 to 1.25 and improve the critical buckling load by about 1.63 *** simulation shows that optimizing and adjusting the structural parameters could significantly improve the advantage of the sandwich ***,the hydrostatic pressure tests for shell models fabricated by 3D printing are carried *** to the experimental results,the overall failure position of the sandwich shell is at the center part of the sandwich *** has been found the average critical load of the proposed sandwich shell models exceeds two times that of the unstiffened shell ***,the proposed bio-inspired bidirectional corrugated sandwich structure can significantly enhance the pressure resistance capability of cylindrical shells.

Realizing high initial Coulombic efficiency in manganese-based layered oxide cathodes for sodium-ion batteries via P2/O'3 biphasic structure optimization

Mn-based layered oxides are among the most promising cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries owing to the advantages of abundance,environmenta friendliness,low cost and high specific capacity.P2 and O'3 are two representative structures of Mn-based layered ***,the P2 structure containing insufficien Na generally exhibits low initial charge capacity,while O'3structure with sufficient Na delivers high initial charge capacity but poor cycle *** study prepared a multitude of Na_(x)MnO_(2)(x=0.7,0.8,0.9)cathode materials with varying P2/O'3 ratios and further investigated their electrochemical *** optimized Na_(0.8)MnO_(2) comprising 69.9 wt%O'3 and 30.1 wt%P2 phase,exhibited relatively balanced specific capacity,Coulombic efficiency and cycle ***,it achieved a high specific capacity of 128.9 mAh·g^(-1) with an initia Coulombic efficiency of 98.2%in half-cell configuration The Na_(0.8)MnO_(2)//hard carbon full cell also achieved a high specific capacity of 126.7 mAh·g^(-1) with an initia Coulombic efficiency of 98.9%.Moreover,the capacity fading mechanism was revealed by combining in-situ and ex-situ X-ray *** findings of this study provide theoretical guidance for further modification design of Mnbased layered cathodes.
