An eco-friendly and fast HPLC method was developed for the determination of adenosine, inosine, guanosine and uridine in Cordyceps and related products(fermented mycelia of Hirsutella sinensis and Paecilomyces hepiali). The sample was ultrasonically extracted using 0.5% phosphoric acid solutions for 2.5 min. Sample separation was performed on a Poroshell SB-Aq column(50 mm × 4.6 mm, 2.7 μm) using eco-friendly mobile phase consisting of formic acid and ammonium formate aqueous solution at a flow rate of 1.0 m L·min;. The detection wavelength was 260 nm. The developed HPLC method showed good linearity with correlation coefficients of 1.0000 in the test range. Good precision, repeatability and stability of this method were also observed(RSD ≤ 2.81%).The recovery ranged from 91.84%-105.19%(RSD ≤ 2.59%). Compared with reported methods, the current method did not use harmful organic solvent and took only 10.5 min. It obtained a high eco-score of 91 by the "Analytical Eco-Scale" tool. The developed method is eco-friendly and fast, which is suitable for the quality evaluation of Cordyceps and related products.

AIM: To assess the efficacy and safety of a modified topical formalin irrigation method in refractory hemorrhagic chronic radiation proctitis(CRP). METHODS: Patients with CRP who did not respond to previous medical treatments and presented with grade II-III rectal bleeding according to the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events were enrolled. Patients with anorectal strictures, deep ulcerations, and fistulas were excluded. All patients underwent flexible endoscopic evaluation before treatment. Patient demographics and clinical data, including primary tumor, radiotherapy and previous treatment options, were collected. Patients received topical 4% formalin irrigation in a clasp-knife position under spinal epidural anesthesia in the operating room. Remission of rectal bleeding and related complications were recorded. Defecation, remission of bleeding, and other symptoms were investigated at follow-up. Endoscopic findings in patients with rectovaginal fistulas were analyzed.RESULTS: Twenty-four patients(19 female, 5 male) with a mean age of 61.5 ± 9.5 years were enrolled. The mean time from the end of radiotherapy to the onset of bleeding was 11.1 ± 9.0 mo(range: 2-24 mo). Six patients(25.0%) were blood transfusion dependent. The median preoperative Vienna Rectoscopy Score(VRS) was 3 points. Nineteen patients(79.2%) received only one course of topical formalin irrigation, and five(20.8%) required a second course. No side effects were observed. One month after treatment, bleeding cessation was complete in five patients and obvious in14; the effectiveness rate was 79.1%(19/24). For longterm efficacy, 5/16, 1/9 and 0/6 patients complained of persistent bleeding at 1, 2 and 5 years after treatment, respectively. Three rectovaginal fistulas were found at 1 mo, 3 mo and 2 years after treatment. Univariate analysis showed associations of higher endoscopic VRS and ulceration score with risk of developing rectovaginal fistula. CONCLUSION: Modified formalin irrigation is an effective and safe method for hemorrhagic CRP

BACKGROUND Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia(PJP)is a serious opportunistic infection that occurs mostly in patients with immunodeficiency and long-term immunosuppressive therapy.In non-human immunodeficiency virus-infected patients,the most important risk factor for PJP is the use of glucocorticoids in combination with other immunosuppressive treatments.The management of glucocorticoids during the perioperative period in patients with dermatomyositis requires special care.CASE SUMMARY We report a case of PJP in the perioperative period.A 61-year-old woman with a history of anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5(MDA5)-positive dermatomyositis and interstitial pneumonia was administered with long-term oral methylprednisolone and cyclosporine.The patient underwent right total hip arthroplasty in the orthopaedic department for bilateral osteonecrosis of the femoral head.She was given intravenous drip hydrocortisone before anesthesia and on the first day after surgery and resumed oral methylprednisolone on the second postoperative day.On the fifth day after surgery,the patient suddenly developed dyspnea.The computed tomography scan showed diffuse grid shadows and ground glass shadows in both lungs.Polymerase chain reaction testing of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid was positive for Pneumocystis jiroveci.The patient was eventually diagnosed with PJP and was administered with oral trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole.At the 6-mo review,there was no recurrence or progression.CONCLUSION Continued perioperative glucocorticoid use in patients with anti-MDA5-positive dermatomyositis may increase the risk of PJP.

BACKGROUND Nonfunctional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours are difficult to diagnose in the early stage of disease due to a lack of clinical symptoms,but they can rarely manifest as autoimmune pancreatitis.Autoimmune pancreatitis is an uncommon disease that may cause recurrent acute pancreatitis and is therefore often regarded as a special type of chronic pancreatitis.CASE SUMMARY We report a case of a 42-year-old female who had nonspecific upper abdominal pain for 4 years and radiological abnormalities of the pancreas that mimicked autoimmune pancreatitis.The symptoms and pancreatic imaging did not improve following 1 year of steroid therapy.Finally,pancreatic biopsy was performed through endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsy,and nonfunctional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours were ultimately diagnosed.Pancreatectomy has resolved her symptoms.CONCLUSION Therefore,the differentiation of nonfunctional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours from autoimmune pancreatitis is very important,although it is rare.We propose that endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsy should be performed if imaging characteristics are equivocal or the diagnosis is in question.

Simultaneous control of the magnetic and electric properties of materials is crucial for their application in next-generation memory and sensor devices.Herein,we report a single-crystal Co(II)complex that exhibits unprecedented two-step magnetic switching accompanied by paraelectric–ferroelectric–paraelectric phase transition.The ferroelectricity of the material is governed by changes in the directionality of the sulfate dianions therein that trigger nonpolar–polar–nonpolar variation of the crystal symmetry and induce slight structural changes in the Co(II)complex.

在细粒度图像分类任务中,提取出具有区分性的局部特征对识别图像之间的微小差异非常重要。基于ViT(vision transformer)框架的算法模型在计算机视觉各个研究领域取得了优异的表现。针对基于ViT框架的细粒度图像分类模型对图片局部区域关注度低的问题且为进一步加强图像块特征的上下文联系,提出了一种基于加强图像块相关性的细粒度图像分类方法。首先,提出了赋予图像块相关性权重的方法,并嵌套应用于不同层编码器中丰富不同层次特征信息,解决了ViT对图像局部特征关注不够的问题;其次,结合图像块的位置信息加强了局部特征上下文的联系,同时减少了噪声信息带来的干扰;最后,提出相似损失函数来学习细粒度图像中微小特征的差异性,优化模型的分类效果。在两个公开数据集CUB-200-2011和Standford Dogs上进行实验分别取得了91.33%、92.15%的准确率,提出的方法分别比基准模型ViT网络提升了0.63、0.45百分点,有效提升了细粒度图像分类效果,验证了方法的有效性。

Ferrimagnets, which contain the advantages of both ferromagnets(detectable moments) and antiferromagnets(ultrafast spin dynamics), have recently attracted great attention. Here, we report the optimization of epitaxial growth of a tetragonal perpendicularly magnetized ferrimagnet Mn_(2)Ga on MgO. Electrical transport, magnetic properties and the anomalous Hall effect(AHE) were systematically studied. Furthermore, we successfully integrated high-quality epitaxial ferrimagnetic Mn_(2)Ga thin films onto ferroelectric 0.7PbMg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3)O_(3)–0.3PbTiO_(3) single crystals with a MgO buffer layer. It was found that the AHE of such a ferrimagnet can be effectively modulated by a small electric field over a large temperature range in a nonvolatile manner. This work thus demonstrates the great potential of ferrimagnets for developing high-density and low-power spintronic devices.

Objective Interferon-induced transmembrane protein 3(IFITM3)is an important member of the IFITM family.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying its antiviral action have not been completely elucidated.Recent studies on IFITM3,particularly those focused on innate antiviral defense mechanisms,have shown that IFITM3 affects the body’s adaptive immune response.The aim of this study was to determine the contribution of IFITM3 proteins to immune control of influenza infection in vivo.Methods We performed proteomics,flow cytometry,and immunohistochemistry analysis and used bioinformatics tools to systematically compare and analyze the differences in natural killer(NK)cell numbers,their activation,and their immune function in the lungs of Ifitm3-/-and wild-type mice.Results Ifitm3-/-mice developed more severe inflammation and apoptotic responses compared to wild-type mice.Moreover,the NK cell activation was higher in the lungs of Ifitm3-/-mice during acute influenza infection.Conclusions Based on our results,we speculate that the NK cells are more readily activated in the absence of IFITM3,increasing mortality in Ifitm3-/-mice.

构建了一种聚蛋氨酸（p-Met）修饰的激光诱导石墨烯（LIG）电极（p-Met/LIG），与便携式电化学工作站和掌上电脑应用程序一体化集成，实现了现场同时检测环境水体中的偶氮染料日落黄（SY）和柠檬黄（Tz）。优化了激光加工参数，制备了导电性能最佳的传感界面；在LIG表面电聚合Met，提高了SY和Tz的电化学响应；通过将p-Met/LIG便携式电化学传感器、小型电化学工作站和掌上电脑应用程序一体化集成，搭建了便携式电化学传感平台用于检测SY和Tz。采用差分脉冲伏安法（DPV）测定两种染料，检测SY的线性范围为0.2～20μmol/L和20～100μmol/L，检出限低至0.001μmol/L；检测Tz的线性范围为0.3～40μmol/L和40～100μmol/L，检出限为0.005μmol/L。p-Met/LIG具有优良的抗干扰性能、稳定性和重现性。将此便携式传感平台用于实际水样检测，结果表明，此平台适用于实际环境水体中SY和Tz的即时现场检测。

Ammonium dinitramide(ADN)is considered as a potential substitute for ammonium perchlorate in energetic materials due to its high density,positive oxygen balance,and halogen-free characteristics.However,its application has been severely limited because of its strong hygroscopicity,difficult storage,and incompatibility with isocyanate curing agents.In order to better bloom the advantages of the highly energetic and environment-friendly ADN in the fields of energetic materials,an in-depth analysis of the current situation and discussion of key research points are particularly important.In this paper,a detailed overview on the synthesis,thermal decomposition,hygroscopic mechanism,and antihygroscopicity of ADN has been discussed,its application in powdes and explosives are also presented,and its future research directions are proposed.
