The pandemic of COVID-19 witnessed a massive infodemic with the public being bombarded with vast quantities of *** spreading of neutral and highly accurate reports can guide the public to self-protect and reduce the ***-and dis-information would intrigue panic and high exposure risk to *** the infodemic has attracted attentions from the academia,it is still not known to what degree and in which direction the information flows contribute to the COVID-19 *** fill the gap,we apply network reconstruction techniques to rebuild the hidden multiplex network of information and COVID-19 spreading by which we aim at quantifying the interaction between the propagation of information and the spatial outbreak of COVID-19,and delineate between the positive and negative impact of information on the *** differentiating the types of media that participated in the information process,we find that in the early stage of COVID-19 pandemic,infodemic does play a critical role to amplify the risk of virus outbreak in China and the risk is even larger for those highly developed *** to the old-fashion media,the new mobile platforms impose a greater risk to reinforce the positive feedback between infodemic and COVID-19 pandemic.

Approximately 20%-30%of patients with acute necrotizing pancreatitis develop infected pancreatic necrosis(IPN),a highly morbid and potentially lethal *** identification of patients at high risk of IPN may facilitate appropriate preventive measures to improve clinical *** the past two decades,several markers and predictive tools have been proposed and evaluated for this *** biomarkers like C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,lymphocyte count,interleukin-6,and interleukin-8,and newly developed biomarkers like angiopoietin-2 all showed significant association with *** the other hand,scoring systems like the Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II and Pancreatitis Activity Scoring System have also been tested,and the results showed that they may provide better *** early prevention of IPN,several new therapies were tested,including early enteral nutrition,anti-biotics,probiotics,immune enhancement,etc.,but the results *** together,several evidence-supported predictive markers and scoring systems are readily available for predicting ***,effective treatments to reduce the incidence of IPN are still lacking apart from early enteral *** this editorial,we summarize evidence concerning early prediction and prevention of IPN,providing insights into future practice and study design.A more homo-geneous patient population with reliable risk-stratification tools may help find effective treatments to reduce the risk of IPN,thereby achieving individualized treatment.

There is an ever-increasing interest in studying temporal networks nowadays, as temporal networks can illustrate the real-world system more accurately. To date, how to characterize nodes’ importance is still unclear in temporal networks. In this work, we first use a time window graph model to cut the temporal network into slices, and then we give an indicator for network centrality according to the edge-based k-shell decomposition for the temporal networks, which is named as temporal k-shell decomposition. We mainly use the size of the largest component after removing the nodes with large centrality value to test the method’s performance. The numerical experiments on several real networks indicate that the temporal k-shell method outperforms some other indicators, and the results with different time window size show that the improvement is also robust.

As a lot of electromagnetic pollution and interference issues have emerged,to overcome electromagnetic interference,prevent electromagnetic hazards,and develop new high-performance electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers have become a significant task in the field of materials *** this paper,a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanofibers network with core-shell structure,embedded with varied molar ratios of iron and cobalt(4:0,3:1,2:2,1:3,0:4),was effectively synthesized(Fe/Co@C-CNFs)via *** phase,microstructure,magnetic and EMW absorption properties were *** is discovered that Fe/Co@C-CNFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:1 have excellent EMW absorption *** the matching thickness is 1.08 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RL)value is-18.66 dB,while the maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)reaches 4.2 GHz(13.9-18 GHz)at a thickness of 1.22 *** is owing to the absorbers'superior impedance matching and multiple reflections as well as the conductivity,dielectric,and magnetic losses of carbon nanofibers embedded with Fe-Co alloy *** addition,the radar cross section(RCS)of the absorbers has been calculated by CST Studio Suite,showing that the absorbing coating can effectively reduce the RCS at various angles,especially for Fe/Co@C-CNFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:*** findings not only provide new insights for the preparation of light-weight and high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers,but also contribute to energy storage and conversion.

Background:The elimination of malaria requires high-quality surveillance data to enable rapid detection and response to individual *** of the performance of a national malaria surveillance system could identify shortcomings which,if addressed,will improve the surveillance program for malaria ***:Case-level data for the period 2005–2014 were extracted from the China National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting Information System and Malaria Enhanced Surveillance Information *** occurrence of cases,accuracy and timeliness of case diagnosis,reporting and investigation,were assessed and compared between the malaria control stage(2005–2010)and elimination stage(2011–2014)in China's ***:A total of 210730 malaria cases were reported in China's Mainland in 2005–*** average annual incidence declined dramatically from 2.5 per 100000 people at the control stage to 0.2 per 100000 at the elimination stage,but the proportion of migrant cases increased from 9.8%to 41.0%.Since the initiation of the National Malaria Elimination Programme in 2010,the overall proportion of cases diagnosed by laboratory testing consistently improved,with the highest of 99.0%in ***,this proportion was significantly lower in non-endemic provinces(79.0%)than that in endemic provinces(91.4%)during 2011–*** median interval from illness onset to diagnosis was 3 days at the elimination stage,with one day earlier than that at the control *** 2011,more than 99%cases were reported within 1 day after being diagnosed,while the proportion of cases that were reported within one day after diagnosis was lowest in Tibet(37.5%).The predominant source of cases reporting shifted from town-level hospitals at the control stage(67.9%cases)to city-level hospitals and public health institutes at the eliminate stage(69.4%cases).The proportion of investigation within 3 days after case reporting has improved,from 74.6%in 2010 to 98.5%in ***

Edge computing, which achieves quick data processing by sinking data computing and storage to the network edge, has grown rapidly along with the Internet of things. The new network architecture of edge computing brings new security challenges. Based on this, this paper investigates the edge computing security literature published in recent years and summarizes and analyzes research work on edge computing security from different attack surfaces. We start with the definition and architecture of edge computing. From the attack surface between device and edge server, as well as on edge servers, the research describes the security threats and defense methods of edge computing. In addition, the cause of the attack and the pros and cons of defense methods is introduced. The challenges and future research directions of edge computing are given.

Risk factors for lower limb swelling after primary total knee arthroplasty

Total knee arthroplasty （TKA） is a successful surgical technique for patients with advanced knee osteoarthritis; however, some peri-operative complications can not be predicted or avoided completely. This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting limb swelling after primary total knee arthroplasty, to guide and improve patient rehabilitation. Methods Using a hospital database, we retroactively analyzed the mean changes in limb circumferences of 286 consecutive patients who underwent primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty between October 2007 and August 2009. The lower limb circumference change was calculated and analyzed statistically. The influence of age, gender, body mass index, the presence of deep vein thrombosis, methods of anti-coagulation, operation time, hidden blood loss, and type of prosthesis on post-operative lower limb swelling was studied. Results Swelling was most pronounced from the third to the fifth post-operative day and usually occurred in both lower limbs. Swelling was significantly more pronounced in the operated limb than in the non-operated limb. The swelling above the knee was also significantly greater than that below the knee. The change in limb circumference at 10 cm above the knee was significantly different between the patients with body mass index 〈25 kg/m2 and those with body mass index 〉25 kg/m2. However, the change in limb circumference at 10 cm below the knee was not significantly different between the two groups. There was no statistically significant difference in limb swelling between different age groups （P 〉0.05）. Similarly, gender, methods of anti-coagulation, the presence of deep vein thrombosis, the type of prosthesis, and operation time did not significantly affect post-operative limb swelling. Multivariate linear regression showed that the factors affecting post-operative limb swelling were body mass index and hidden blood loss. Herein,a novel single-atomic Pt doping and interface-rich CoS/Co(OH)_(2)(Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C)electrocatalyst has been successfully *** from precise regulation of d-orbital electronic structure modulation on Co site,Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C exhibited remarkable HER activity and high stability for hydrogen evolution in splitting both water(73 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2)) and seawater(87 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2)).Notably,atomic Pt doping was introduced into CoS/Co(OH)_(2),which could produce local unbalanced Coulombic force and significantly increased the number of S vacancies,and then expose abundant Co ***,Co(OH)_(2) in Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C could act as the adsorption sites for H_(2)O in hydrogen evolution reaction *** functional theory results also proved that atomic Pt doping,S vacancies and Co(OH)_(2) coupling could result in the formation of enriched electronic Co sites and optimize d_(z2) orbital electronic structure,and then realize the depth upward shift of d-band center and enhance the adsorption of H*on Co sites.
