The neutron count rate fluctuation reaches six orders of magnitude between the ohmic plasma scenario and high power of auxiliary heating on an experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST).The measurement result of neutron flux monitoring(NFM)is a significant feedback parameter related to the acquisition of radiation protection-related information and rapid fluctuations in neutron emission induced by plasma magnetohydrodynamic ***,a wide range and high time resolution are required for the NFM system on *** satisfy these requirements,a digital pulse signal acquisition and processing system with a wide dynamic range and fast response time was *** present study was conducted using a field-programmable gate array(FPGA)and peripheral component interconnect extension for instrument express(PXIe)*** digital dual measurement modes,which are composed of the pulse-counting mode and AC coupled square integral's Campbelling mode,were designed to expand the measurement range of the signal acquisition and processing *** time resolution of the signal acquisition and processing system was improved from 10 to 1 ms owing to utilizing highspeed analog-to-digital converters(ADCs),a high-speed PXIe communication with a direct memory access(DMA)mode,and online data preprocessing technology of *** signal acquisition and processing system was tested experimentally in the EAST radiation *** test results showed that the time resolution of NFM was improved to 1 ms,and the dynamic range of the neutron counts rate was expanded to more than 10^(6) counts per *** Campbelling mode was calibrated using a multipoint average linear fitting method;subsequently,the fitting coefficient reached ***,the newly developed pulse signal acquisition and processing system ensures that the NFM system meets the requirements of high-parameter experiments conducted on EAST more effectively.

Qilian Mountains(QM)is an important ecological security barrier in China and has been significantly affected by climate change,it is therefore of great importance and necessity to project its future climate change using high-resolution climate models because of mountainous areas in the QM and relatively few targeted simulation *** this study,we used the simulations of the regional climate model REMO with 25 km spatial resolution,driven by three different global climate models(MPI-ESM-MR,NorESM1-M,and HadGEM2-ES),to evaluate how annual and seasonal mean surface air temperature and precipitation in the QM are likely to change for three future periods(2011-2040,2041-2070,and 2071-2100)under two representative concentration pathways(RCP2.6 and RCP8.5).The REMO model,shows noticeable cold and wet biases compared to observations for the reference period(1971-2000)and air temperature simulation outperforms precipitation *** REMO simulations exhibit a warm and wet centre around lake,indicating that the simulation are likely influenced by *** under RCP2.6 show regional warming reaching 1.74℃ during 2011-2100,characterized by an initial increase and a decrease *** RCP8.5,air temperatures increase monotonously from 2011 to 2100,with a warming magnitude of 5.36℃ for 2071-2100 relative to *** overall change in regional-average annual precipitation is not evident during 2011-2100,with some increases or decreases in certain time *** the 2071-2100 both the strongest warming and precipitation increase are projected to occur in winter under both scenarios,while precipitation in summer and autumn is projected to decrease in the east of the QM for the three future *** results suggest that the QM is likely to experience drought conditions in warm seasons in the future,which could impact agricultural and livestock production.

Nuclear security usually requires the simultaneous detection of neutrons and gamma *** the development of crystalline materials in recent years,Cs2LiLaBr6(CLLB)dual-readout detectors have attracted extensive attention from researchers,where real-time neutron/gamma pulse discrimination is the critical factor among detector performance *** study investigated the discrimination performance of the charge comparison,amplitude comparison,time comparison,and pulse gradient_(m)ethods and the effects of a Sallen–Key filter on their *** results show that the figure of merit(FOM)of all four methods is improved by proper *** them,the charge comparison method exhibits excellent noise resistance;moreover,it is the most_(s)uitable method of real-time discrimination for CLLB ***,its discrimination performance depends on the parameters t_(s),t_(m),and t_(e).When t_(s)corresponds to the moment at which the pulse is at 10%of its peak value,t_(e)requires a delay of only 640–740 ns compared to t_(s),at which time the potentially optimal FOM of the charge comparison method at 3.1–3.3 MeV is greater than *** FOM obtained using the t_(m)value calculated by a proposed maximized discrimination difference model(MDDM)and the potentially optimal FOM differ by less than 3.9%,indicating that the model can provide good guidance for parameter selection in the charge comparison method.

The surface accuracy of the large-aperture reflector antenna has a significant influence on the observation *** researchers have focused on using the finite element(FE)simulation to study the effect of gravity and heat on the deformation distribution of the main ***,the temperature distribution of the antenna is challenging to obtain,and it takes a long time for the FE simulation to carry out FE modeling and *** address these limitations,this study presents a surrogate model based on Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)and deep Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)to get the deformation distribution of the main reflector *** the design of the surrogate model,using the XGBoost algorithm and sparse sampling to solve the difficulty of obtaining the entire temperature distribution is first proposed,and then a deep CNN is developed for estimating *** on the effect of dynamic loads on the antenna structure,a diverse data set is generated to train and test the surrogate *** results show that the surrogate model reduces the calculating time dramatically and can obtain the indistinguishable deformation compared to the FE *** technique provides a valuable tool for temperature and deformation calculation of large-aperture antennas.

Constructing more stable self-assembled organic nanotubes has been one of the focuses of scientists in recent ***(m-phenylene ethynylene)(m-PE)benzene macrocycles can form stable tubular self-assemblies in nonpolar or weakly polar solvents through theπ-πinteraction of the main skeleton and the hydrogen bonding of the side chain *** covalently linked two macrocyclic units at the para position of the macrocycles using two oligo(β-alanine)linkers through an efficient synthetic ***-visible spectroscopy,fluorescence spectroscopy,and circular dichroism spectroscopy were employed to demonstrate that the incorporation of two peptide chains significantly enhances the stability of the ***,the average open time of the ion channel formed by the macrocyclic dimer in the lipid bilayer was significantly better than that of the ion channel formed by a single *** study shows that this strategy effectively improves the efficiency of self-assembly and the stability of its formed self-assemblies,providing a feasible strategy for constructing organic self-assembled nanotubes in highly polar solvents.

AIM To evaluate the safety and efficacy of combined endovascular brachytherapy(EVBT),transarterial chemoembolization(TACE),and sorafenib to treat hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients with main portal vein tumor thrombus(MPVTT).METHODS This single-center retrospective study involved 68 patients with unresectable HCC or those who were unfit for liver transplantation and percutaneous frequency ablation according to the BCLC classification. All patients had Child-Pugh classification grade A or B,Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)performance status of 0-2,and MPVTT. The patients received either EVBT with stent placement,TACE,and sorafenib(group A,n = 37),or TACE with sorafenib(group B,n = 31). The time to progression(TTP) and overall survival(OS) were evaluated by propensity score *** In the entire cohort,the 6-,12-,and 24-mo survival rates were 88.9%,54.3%,and 14.1% in group A,and 45.8%,0%,and 0% in group B,respectively(P han group B(TTP: 9.0 mo vs 3.4 mo,P han in group B(10.3 mo vs 6.0 mo,P han in group B(9.0 mo vs 3.4 mo,P < 0.001). Multivariate Cox analysis revealed that the EVBT combined with stent placement,TACE,and sorafenib strategy was an independent predictor of favorable OS(HR = 0.18,P < 0.001). CONCLUSION EVBT combined with stent placement,TACE,and sorafenib might be a safe and effective palliative treatment option for MPVTT.
