Evolution of MnO–SiO2–Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO inclusions during heat treatment at 1100℃

To investigate the evolutionary behavior of the MnO–SiO_(2)–Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO inclusions during heat treatment,water quenched samples were isothermally held at 1100°C for 120 min in Ar and air atmosphere,and the obtaining samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive *** showed that 3MnO·Al_(2)O_(3)·3SiO_(2)and MnO·SiO_(2)were detected in the 5 wt.%MgO system after isothermal holding in Ar atmosphere,while MgO·Al_(2)O_(3),MnO·SiO_(2)and Mn7O8·SiO4 were detected in air *** evolutionary behavior of the 10,15 and 20 wt.%MgO systems after isothermal holding in different atmosphere were *** affected the solid phase transformation of the low MgO content *** calculation results of FactSage 8.1 showed that MgO·Al_(2)O_(3)was formed in the 5 wt.%MgO system with air *** solid phase transformation was accompanied by grain coarsening during the isothermal holding *** differences in the solid phase transformation in different atmosphere of the 5 wt.%MgO system indicated that it was a gas-phase transport grain coarsening *** enrichment of Al element in the liquid phase region at the grain edges,the homogeneous distribution of Mg element and the disappearance of the liquid phase within the crystal revealed that other MgO content systems were liquid–solid transport grain coarsening mechanism.

Carbon dots-derived three-dimensional-ordered macroporous host with high penetrability and catalytic activity for LSBs under lean electrolyte

The practical energy density of lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)is seriously limited by the high electrolyte-to-sulfur ratios(E/S).The E/S can be reduced by employing hosts with easy-to-infiltrate structure that ensures the uniform distribution of a lean electrolyte and high catalytic activity that can suppress"shuttle effect"via accelerating the slow conversion of soluble poly sulfides to insoluble *** the easy-to-infiltrate structures,the three-dimensional-ordered macroporous(3DOM)structure is easier to scale preparation and more suitable for the existing industrial ***,it is difficult to obtain the 3DOM with(1)high penetrability due to the high viscosity of frequently-used organic polymer precursors and(2)high catalytic activity due to the low confinement effect,meaning that uniformly dispersed small-sized catalytic materials are difficult to load on ***,using carbon dots(CDs)with both organic and inorganic properties as a precursor and aggregation limiting agent,a 3DOM host with high penetrability and homodispersed ni particles of small sizes(ni-CDs-3DOM)was *** this host:(1)CDs precursor with suitable viscosity can improve the penetrability.(2)CDs can effectively inhibit the agglomeration of ni particles.(3)Uniformly dispersed small-size ni particles offer high-efficiency catalytic activity toward sulfur ***,the ni-CDs-3DOM/sulfur cathode exhibits high sulfur utilization and stable cycling performance even under high sulfur loading(5.5 mg·cm^(-2))and low E/S(6.5μl·mg^(-1)).This work indicates the usefulness of CDs in constructing hosts for LSBs with high energy density.

Objective:Gut-derived serotonin strongly inhibits bone formation by inhibiting osteoblast *** previous study demonstrated that the lignan-rich fraction prepared from Sambucus willimasii Hance,a folk herbal medicine used to treat bone fractures and joint diseases in China,exerted bone-protective effects,and its actions were modulated by suppressing the synthesis of gut-derived serotonin via the inhibition of intestinal tryptophan hydroxylase 1(TPH-1).However,there is no direct evidence for the action of lignans on *** study aimed to verify the direct action of lignans on the TPH-1 and its influence on serotonin synthesis and bone ***:Molecular docking and surface plasmon resonance were performed to determine the affinities of lignans to *** cell viability and the protein activity and expression of TPH-1 were measured in RBL2H3 *** serum serotonin level and bone mineral density upon lignan treatment in ovariectomized mice were ***:The lignans showed high binding scores and binding affinities to TPH-1,inhibited the activity and protein expression of TPH-1,suppressed the serum serotonin levels in ovariectomized mice as well as promoted bone mineral ***:This is the first study to report that lignans are novel TPH-1 inhibitors and that these lignans could be potential agents for the management of serotonin-related diseases,including osteoporosis.

Reliability analysis of multimodal scene matching based on correlation peaks

The navigation system plays a pivotal role in guiding aircraft along designated routes,ensuring precise and punctual arrival at *** integration of scene matching with an inertial navigation system enhances the capability of providing a dependable guarantee for success-ful accomplishment of flight ***,assuring reliability in scene matching encoun-ters significant challenges in areas characterized by repetitive or weak *** tackle these challenges,we propose a novel method to assess the reliability of scene matching based on the dis-tinctive characteristics of correlation *** proposed method leverages the fact that the sim-ilarity of the optimal matching result is significantly higher than that of the surrounding area,and three novel indicators(e.g.,relative height,slope of a correlation peak,and ratio of a sub peak to the main peak)are determined to conjointly evaluate the reliability of scene *** pro-posed method entails matching a real-time image with a reference image to generate a correlation surface.A correlation peak is then obtained by extracting the portion of the correlation surface exhibiting a significant ***,the matching reliability is determined by considering the relative height,slope,and ratio of the peak *** experimental results with two sets of data demonstrate that the proposed method significantly outperforms traditional approaches in terms of precision,recall,and *** experiments also establish the efficacy of the proposed method in achieving reliable matching in challenging environments characterized by repetitive and weak *** enhancement holds the potential to significantly elevate scene-matching-based navigation.

Upgraded durian genome reveals the role of chromosome reshuffling during ancestral karyotype evolution,lignin biosynthesis regulation,and stress tolerance

RnA-binding proteins(RBPs)accompany RnA from synthesis to decay,mediating every aspect of RnA metabolism and impacting diverse cellular and developmental processes in *** RBPs undergo phase separation along with their bound RnA to form and function in dynamic membraneless biomolecular condensates for spatiotemporal coordination or regulation of RnA *** evidence suggests that phase-separating RBPs with RnA-binding domains and intrinsically disordered regions play important roles in plant development and stress ***,we summarize the current knowledge about how dynamic partitioning of RBPs into condensates controls plant development and enables sensing of experimental changes to confer growth plasticity under stress conditions,with a focus on the dynamics and functional mechanisms of RBP-rich nuclear condensates and cytoplasmic granules in mediating RnA *** also discuss roles of multiple factors,such as environmental signals,protein modifications,and n6-methyladenosine RnA methylation,in modulating the phase separation behaviors of RBPs,and highlight the prospects and challenges for future research on phase-separating RBPs in crops.
