BACKGROUND Desmoid fibroma is a rare soft tissue tumor originating from the aponeurosis,fascia,and muscle,and it is also known as aponeurotic fibroma,invasive fibroma,or ligamentous fibroma.AIM To investigate the clinical and imaging features of desmoid tumors of the extremities.METHODS Thirteen patients with desmoid fibroma of the extremities admitted to our hospital from October 2016 to March 2021 were included.All patients underwent computed tomography(CT),magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),and pathological examination of the lesion.Data on the diameter and distribution of the lesion,the relationship between the lesion morphology and surrounding structures,MRI and CT findings,and pathological features were statistically analyzed.RESULTS The lesion diameter ranged from 1.7 to 8.9 cm,with an average of 5.35±2.39 cm.All lesions were located in the deep muscular space,with the left and right forearm each accounting for 23.08%of cases.Among the 13 patients with desmoid fibroma of the extremities,the lesions were"patchy"in 1 case,irregular in 10,and quasi-round in 2.The boundary between the lesion and surrounding soft tissue was blurred in 10 cases,and the focus infiltrated along the tissue space and invaded the adjacent structures.Furthermore,the edge of the lesion showed"beard-like"infiltration in 2 cases;bone resorption and damage were found in 8,and bending of the bone was present in 2;the boundary of the focus was clear in 1.According to the MRI examination,the lesions were larger than 5 cm(61.54%),round or fusiform in shape(84.62%),had an unclear boundary(76.92%),showed uniform signal(69.23%),inhomogeneous enhancement(84.62%),and"root"or"claw"infiltration(69.23%).Neurovascular tract invasion was present in 30.77%of cases.CT examination showed that the desmoid tumors had slightly a lower density(69.23%),higher enhancement(61.54%),and unclear boundary(84.62%);a CT value<50 Hu was present in 53.85%of lesions,and the enhancement was uneven in 53.85%of cases.Microscopically,fibroblasts and myofibroblasts were arranged

Hot-swaging yields a high ultimate tensile strength of 712 MPa but a limited tensile ductility with the total elongation of3.6%at a testing temperature of 200℃in a representative W-0.5wt.%ZrC alloy.In this work,the evolution of Vickers microhardness with annealing temperatures is investigated in detail,which contributes to a rough index chart to guide the search for an optimized post-annealing temperature.Through the post-annealing around 1300℃,an outstanding tensile ductility at200℃,including a uniform elongation of 14%and a total elongation of~25%,has been achieved without the sacrifice of its strength.The evolution of dislocations and grain structures with the annealing temperatures accessed through backscattered scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope analysis reveals that the improved low-temperature tensile ductility has resulted from the reduction of residual dislocations and dislocation tanglement via the static recovery,which provides more room to accommodate dislocations,and hence stronger strain hardening ability and tensile ductility.

The cermet fuels have been considered as a potential key component for the nuclear thermal propulsion,and the homogeneity of the fuel particles in the metal matrix plays a crucial role in stabilizing the structure at extremely high temperatures.In this work,liquid paraffin was used as additive to improve the distribution of yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ,an appropriate surrogate for UO_(2) fuel)microspheres in the tungsten(W)matrix,and the W-YSZ cermet wafers(volume ratio 1:1)with a relative density of 97.6%were fabricated by spark plasma sintering with a specifically designed program.The effects of the paraffin dosage(0-5 wt.%)on the homogeneity,microstructure,mechanical properties,and the thermal conductivity of W-YSZ cermet were investigated.The W-YSZ sample with 2 wt.%paraffin shows the highest homogeneity and exhibits the best comprehensive properties,including the ultimate tensile strength of 132.2 MPa at 600℃,the bending strength of455 MPa and thermal conductivity of 50 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)at room temperature.Moreover,the cermet could keep structurally sound after thermal shocked at a heat load of 20 MW·m^(-2).These results would be helpful for the design and optimization of the cermet fuels in the nuclear thermal propulsion.

Low initial Coulombic efficiency (ICE) is an important impediment to practical application of Li-rich layered oxides (LLOs), which is due to the irreversible oxygen release. It is generally considered that surface oxygen vacancies are conducive to the improvement of ICE of LLOs. To reveal the relation of oxygen vacancies and ICE, sample PLO (Li-Mn-Cr-O) and its treated product (TLO) are comprehensive investigated in this work. During the treated process, part of oxygen atoms return to original constructed vacancies. It makes oxygen vacancies in sample TLO much poorer than those in sample PLO, and induces the formation of Li-poor spinel-layered integrated structure. Electrochemical measurement indicates the ICE of sample PLO is only 80.8%, while sample TLO is almost full reversible with the ICE of ~97.1%. In term of high-energy X-ray diffraction, scanning transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and synchrotron hard/soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy, we discover that the ICE is difficult to be improved significantly just by building oxygen vacancies. LLOs with high ICE not only have to construct suitable oxygen vacancies, but also require other components with Li-poor structure to stabilize oxygen. This work provides deep insight into the mechanism of high ICE, and will contribute to the design and development of LLOs for next-generation high-energy lithium-ion batteries.

本文针对粗糙集理论常用的4种数据离散化方法,结合实例从离散化后变精度粗糙集模型下分类质量、近似精度以及离散化后约简变量集合与原始变量集的聚类相似度两个方面进行了对比,得到了离散化方法可信度的一致性结论。而在属性约简集的确定上,将评价指标约简视为多目标优化问题,采用遗传算法计算约简,并引用包含度得到了最优属性约简集。

KLF6 facilitates differentiation of odontoblasts through modulating the expression of P21 in vitro

Multiple signaling pathways are involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation in odontogenesis and dental tissue renewal,but the details of these mechanisms remain unknown.Here,we investigated the expression patterns of a transcription factor,Krüppel-like factor 6(KLF6),during the development of murine tooth germ and its function in odontoblastic differentiation.KLF6 was almost ubiquitously expressed in odontoblasts at various stages,and it was co-expressed with P21(to varying degrees)in mouse dental germ.To determine the function of Klf6,overexpression and knockdown experiments were performed in a mouse dental papilla cell line(iMDP-3).Klf6 functioned as a promoter of odontoblastic differentiation and inhibited the proliferation and cell cycle progression of i MDP-3 through p21 upregulation.Dual-luciferase reporter assay and chromatin immunoprecipitation showed that Klf6 directly activates p21 transcription.Additionally,the in vivo study showed that KLF6 and P21were also co-expressed in odontoblasts around the reparative dentin.In conclusion,Klf6 regulates the transcriptional activity of p21,thus promoting the cell proliferation to odontoblastic differentiation transition in vitro.This study provides a theoretical basis for odontoblast differentiation and the formation of reparative dentine regeneration.

BACKGROUND Major adverse cardiac events(MACE) in elderly patients with biliary diseases are the main cause of perioperative accidental death, but no widely recognized quantitative monitoring index of perioperative cardiac function so far.AIM To investigate the critical values of monitoring indexes for perioperative MACE in elderly patients with biliary diseases.METHODS The clinical data of 208 elderly patients with biliary diseases in our hospital from May 2016 to April 2021 were retrospectively analysed. According to whether MACE occurred during the perioperative period, they were divided into the MACE group and the non-MACE group.RESULTS In the MACE compared with the non-MACE group, postoperative complications, mortality, hospital stay, high sensitivity troponin-Ⅰ(Hs-TnI), creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB), myoglobin(MYO), B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP), and Ddimer(D-D) levels were significantly increased(P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression showed that postoperative BNP and D-D were independent risk factors for perioperative MACE, and their cut-off values in the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve were 382.65 pg/mL and 0.965 mg/L, respectively.CONCLUSION The postoperative BNP and D-D were independent risk factors for perioperative MACE, with the critical values of 382.65 pg/mL and 0.965 mg/L respectively. Consequently, timely monitoring and effective maintenance of perioperative cardiac function stability are of great clinical significance to further improve the perioperative safety of elderly patients with biliary diseases.

Polymer hole-transport layers(HTLs)are critical components of inverted perovskite solar cells(IPVSCs).Triphenylamine derivatives PTAA(poly[bis(4-phenyl)(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)amine])and Poly-TPD(poly[N,N′-bis(4-butylphenyl)-N,N′-bis(phenyl)benzidine])have been widely adopted as hole-transport materials due to their perovskite passivation effects and suitable energy levels.However,the passivation mechanism(i.e.,the functional group responsible for perovskite passivation)of triphenylamine derivative polymers remains unclear,hindering the development and application of this polymer type.Here,we develop a novel Poly-TPD derivative,S-Poly-TPD,by replacing the n-butyl functional group of Poly-TPD with an isobutyl group to explore the influence of alkyl groups on HTL performance and top-deposited perovskite properties.Compared with Poly-TPD,the increased CH_(3)-terminal unit density and the decreased spatial distance between the-CH-CH_(3) and-CH_(2)-CH_(3) units and the benzene ring in S-Poly-TPD not only enhanced the hole-transport ability but also improved the perovskite passivation effect,revealing for the first time the role of the alkyl groups in perovskite passivation.As a result,the S-Poly-TPD-based IPVSCs demonstrated high power-conversion efficiencies of 15.1% and 21.3% in wide-bandgap[MAPbI_(2)Br(SCN)0.12]and normal-bandgap[(FAPbI_(3))0.92(MAPbBr_(3))0.08]devices,respectively.

目的内质网应激可能参与月经发生过程,但详细机制不明确。文章通过不同时期回植孕酮,探索其对小鼠月经发生过程中内质网应激诱导的自噬及凋亡的调控机制。方法将小鼠随机数字表法分为12 h回植组、16 h回植组和未回植组,每组10只,分别在孕酮撤退后12 h(12 h回植组)和16 h(16 h回植组)回植孕酮皮埋管,未回植组则不进行回植,各组小鼠均在孕酮撤退后24 h处死,收集双侧子宫角。通过qPCR、蛋白印迹法和免疫组化法检测蛋白激酶RNA样内质网激酶的总蛋白(t-PERK)及其磷酸化蛋白(p-PERK)、真核起始因子2α的总蛋白(t-eIF2α)及其磷酸化蛋白(p-eIF2α)、活化转录因子4(ATF4)、C/EBP同源蛋白(CHOP)、半胱天冬酶12(Caspase12)mRNA和蛋白在小鼠子宫内膜组织中的表达和定位。结果12h回植组的PERK mRNA水平(1.000±0.000)显著高于16 h回植组(0.450±0.049)和未回植组(0.260±0.233),eIF2αmRNA水平(1.000±0.000)亦高于16 h回植组(0.330±0.015)和未回植组(0.195±0.014),差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),且16 h回植组均高于未回植组(P<0.05)。12 h回植组的p-PERK/t-PERK蛋白表达(0.606±0.051)显著高于16 h回植组(0.367±0.019)和未回植组(0.243±0.020),12 h回植组p-eIF2α/t-eIF2α蛋白表达(0.795±0.074)显著高于16 h回植组(0.503±0.038)和未回植组(0.293±0.020),差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),且16 h回植组均高于未回植组(P<0.05)。12 h回植组的ATF4 mRNA和蛋白质均分别高于16 h回植组和未回植组(P<0.05),且16 h回植组高于未回植组(P<0.05),p-PERK、p-eIF2α、ATF4蛋白主要定位在基底层与蜕膜化基质细胞交界处的基质细胞细胞质。12 h回植组16 h回植组的CHOP、Caspase12 mRNA和蛋白表达水平明显低于16 h回植组,也低于未回植组(P<0.05),且16 h回植组低于未回植组(P<0.05),其蛋白主要定位在充分蜕膜化的基质细胞及腺上皮的细胞质。结论在月经发生关键时期前(12h)回植孕酮,可以有效维持PERK/eIF2α/ATF4信号的表达并阻断凋亡信号通路成员CHOP、Caspase12表达,有效阻断月经发生;而月经发生关键时期后(16h)则只有部分效应。
