Interactive segmentation is useful for selecting object of interest in an image and it continues to be a popular topic. It plays an increasingly important role in image processing and has a wide range of applications. However, performing interactive segmentation pixel by pixel is normally time consuming. This paper presents a new method to improve the segmentation efficiency. The proposed method improves the growcut algorithm by utilizing the super-pixel-level tumors automata (TA), since the super-pixels can supply powerful boundary clues to guide segmentation and can be gathered easily by over-segmentation algorithm. The TA has the similar principle as cellular automata. Given a small number of user-tagged super-pixels, the rest of the image can be automatically segmented by TA. Due to the iterative strategy, user can observe that the processing is faster than the growcut. To obtain the best result, both level set and multi-layer TA approaches are applied. Experiments carried out on the VOC challenge segmentation dataset show that the proposed method achieves state-of-the-art performance.

Superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant siloxane-modified MgAl-LDHs coatings on magnesium alloy prepared under mild conditions

We have developed a superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant LDH-W/PFDTMS composite coating on the surface of Mg *** composite comprised a tungstate-intercalated(LDH-W)underlayer that was grown at low temperature(relative to hydrothermal reaction conditions)under atmospheric pressure and an outer polysiloxane layer created from a solution containing perfluorodecyltrimethoxysilane(PFDTMS)using a simple immersion *** successful intercalation of tungstate into the LDH phase and the following formation of the polysiloxane layer were confirmed through X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The corrosion resistance of the LDH-W film,both before and after the PFDTMS modification,was evaluated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),Tafel curves,and immersion *** results showed that Mg coated with LDH-W/PFDTMS exhibited significantly enhanced corrosion protection compared to the unmodified LDHW film,with no apparent signs of corrosion after exposure to 3.5wt%NaCl solution for 15 ***,the LDH-W/PFDTMS coating demonstrated superior superhydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties against water and several common beverages,as confirmed by static contact angle and water-repellency *** results offer valuable insights into preparing superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant LDH-based composite coatings on Mg alloy surfaces under relatively mild reaction conditions.

Nowadays, existing WebGIS applications are isolated from each other. It is meaningful and challenging to integrate these existing applications to reduce resource loss. In this paper, the concept of WebGIS integration service is presented and its classification including width integration and depth integration is brought out. According to width integration and depth integration, a general standard of WebGIS integration is proposed. The merits of WebGIS integration service are analyzed with the representative examples from both of the two classes mentioned above.

The strength and ductility cannot achieve a good tradeoff for some superalloy(***3536)prepared by selective laser melting(SLM),which seriously restricts their industrial *** work examined the effect of post-heat treatment(HT)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of GH3536 produced by *** particular,the influence of carbide precipitate morphology and distribution on strength and ductility of the alloy after heat treatment was *** aging at 650°C(denoted as HT1),the Cr23C6 carbides were distributed in *** ductility increased by approximately 31%,while the strength slightly *** aging at 745°C(denoted as HT2),the Cr23C6 carbides were distributed in ***,the HT2 samples showed an increase in ductility of~58%and no reduction in *** the dislocation density of HT2 sample was higher than that of the HT1 sample,the chain carbides could be pinned to the grain boundaries,consequently improving the ductility but no loss in strength as compared with the as-deposited *** the aging temperature was increased to 900°C(denoted as HT3),the carbides were distributed in a discontinuous granular *** a result,the HT3 samples presented the lowest dislocation density which reduced the strength.
