Effects of casting current on structure and properties of a nanostructured Zr-Cu-Fe-Al bulk metallic glass

The effects of casting currents on the thermophysical behaviors, atomic and nanoscale structure, and mechanical properties of two Zr-based-bulk metallic glasses, i.e., Zr59Cu33A18 and Zr59（Cuo.55Feo.45）33A18, were studied by using differential scanning calorimetry, wide-angle X-ray diffraction, and small-angle X-ray scattering, as well as compression tests. The casting currents can be tuned to change the casting initiative temperature. Results revealed that there is no anomalous structural change for the Zr59Cu33A18 molten liquid before crystallization during cooling with different casting currents. In contrast, liquid-state phase separation was suggested to occur in the Zr59（Cuo.55Feo.45）33A18 molten liquid prepared using lower casting current before crystallization during cooling. The position shift of the first sharp diffraction peak for the diffraction pattern of Zr59（Cuo.55Feo.45）33A18 shows that the density of the molten liquid may decrease upon cooling at different casting currents. The small-angle X-ray scattering results indicate that the heterogeneity of the Zr59（Cuo.55- ***）33A18 metallic glasses increases with decreasing the casting temperature. As a result, the metallic glasses with a liquid-state phase separation possess better mechanical properties, including higher-yielding stress and more significant compressive ductility. The increase in degree of heterogeneity formed by nanoscale liquid-state phase separation and their interactions with the shear bands for the Zr-Cu-Fe-Al bulk metallic glasses were suggested to be responsible for the enhanced mechanical properties.

Application of total keratometry in ten intraocular lens power calculation formulas in highly myopic eyes

Background:The accuracy of using total keratometry(TK)value in recent IOL power calculation formulas in highly myopic eyes remained ***:Highly myopic patients who underwent uneventful cataract surgery were prospectively enrolled in this prospective comparative *** one month postoperatively,standard deviation(SD)of the prediction errors(PEs),mean and median absolute error(MedAE)of 103 highly myopic eyes were back-calculated and compared among ten formulas,including XGboost,RBF 3.0,Kane,Barrett Universal II,Emmetropia Verifying Optical 2.0,Cooke K6,Haigis,SRK/T,and Wang-Koch modifications of Haigis and SRK/T formulas,using either TK or standard keratometry(K)***:In highly myopic eyes,despite good agreement between TK and K(P>0.05),larger differences between the two were associated with smaller central corneal thickness(Plue,the XGboost calculator was comparable with the RBF 3.0 formula(P>0.05),which both presented smaller MedAEs than others(all P0.05),and statistically larger percentages than the other eight formulas(Plusions:Highly myopic eyes with thinner corneas tend to have larger differences between TK and *** XGboost enhancement calculator and RBF 3.0 formula using TK showed the most promising outcomes in highly myopic eyes.

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)-based nanoreactors have attracted broad interest in many fields due to their voidconfinement ***,the inherent drawback of conventional nanoreactors is the lack of internal active sites,which limits their widespread ***,we report the construction of hierarchical COF(EB-TFP)nanoreactor with pre-synthesized polyoxometalates(POM,[PV_(2)W_(10)O_(40)]^(5–)(PV_(2)W_(10)))clusters encapsulated inside of COF(POM@COF).PV_(2)W_(10)@EB-TFP anchors nucleophilic-group(Br–ions)and PV_(2)W_(10)anion cluster within the COF framework via electrostatic interactions,which not only simplifies the reaction system but also enhances catalytic *** reaction performance of the PV_(2)W_(10)@EB-TFP nanoreactor can be tuned to achieve excellent catalytic activity in CO_(2)cycloaddition reaction(CCR)for~97.63%conversion and~100%selectivity under visible light irradiation.A mechanistic study based on density functional theory(DFT)calculations and insitu characterization was also carried *** summary,we have reported a method for achieving the uniform dispersion of POM single clusters into COF nanoreactor,demonstrating the potential of POM@COF nanoreactor for synergistic photothermal catalytic CO_(2)cycloaddition.

A solution method for decomposing vector fields in Hamilton energy

Hamilton energy,which reflects the energy variation of systems,is one of the crucial instruments used to analyze the characteristics of dynamical *** we propose a method to deduce Hamilton energy based on the existing *** derivation process consists of three steps:step 1,decomposing the vector field;step 2,solving the Hamilton energy function;and step 3,verifying *** order to easily choose an appropriate decomposition method,we propose a classification criterion based on the form of system state variables,i.e.,type-I vector fields that can be directly decomposed and type-II vector fields decomposed via exterior ***,exterior differentiation is used to represent the curl of low-high dimension vector fields in the process of ***,we exemplify the Hamilton energy function of six classical systems and analyze the relationship between Hamilton energy and dynamic *** solution provides a new approach for deducing the Hamilton energy function,especially in high-dimensional systems.

K doping stabilizes three-dimensional K0.2Na1.3Mn0.5O2-δ as high-performance cathode for sodium-ion batteries

It is a difficult challenge to simultaneously employ the cationic and anionic redox chemistry in cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries with high *** though layered oxides （classified as two-dimensional oxides） demonstrate excellent promise in the high discharge capacity,their poor oxygen transformation via redox reactions is limited by crystal ***,a doping strategy was conceived to tackle this issue and increase redox efficiency.K doping was applied to transform the two-dimensional Na1.3Mn0.7O2（NMO） to threedimensional K0.2Na1.3Mn0.5O2（KNMO）,preventing the irreversible phase shift and preserving the crystal structure’s stability while *** this modification treatment,KNMO features manganese and oxygen reactive sites,delivering a promising energy density of 190mAh·g-1at 5 mA·g-1in the 2.0–4.5 V voltage range (vs71.4 mAh·g-1for the pristine NMO).Moreover,it displays improved capacity retention of more than 83.5% after 50cycles at 50 mA·*** results demonstrated that doped intercalation oxides were promising for redox oxygen transformation in sodium-ion batteries.

A Second-Order Image Denoising Model for Contrast Preservation

The interfacial contacts between the electron transporting layers(ETLs)and the photoactive layers are crucial to device performance and stability for OSCs with inverted ***,atomic layer deposition(ALD)fabricated ultrathin Al_(2)O_(3)layers are applied to modify the ETLs/active blends(PM6:BTP-BO-4F)interfaces of OSCs,thus improving device *** ALD-Al_(2)O_(3)thin layers on ZnO significantly improved its surface morphology,which led to the decreased work function of ZnO and reduced recombination losses in *** simultaneous increase in open-circuit voltage(V_(OC)),short-circuit current density(J_(SC))and fill factor(FF)were achieved for the OSCs incorporated with ALD-Al_(2)O_(3)interlayers of a certain thickness,which produced a maximum PCE of 16.61%.Moreover,the ALD-Al_(2)O_(3)interlayers had significantly enhanced device stability by suppressing degradation of the photoactive layers induced by the photocatalytic activity of ZnO and passivating surface defects of ZnO that may play the role of active sites for the adsorption of oxygen and moisture.

An improved lightweight network based on deep learning for grape recognition in unstructured environments

In unstructured environments,dense grape fruit growth and the presence of occlusion cause difficult recognition problems,which will seriously affect the performance of grape picking *** address these problems,this study improves the YOLOx-Tiny model and proposes a new grape detection model,YOLOX-RA,which can quickly and accurately identify densely growing and occluded grape *** proposed YOLOX-RA model uses a 3×3 convolutional layer with a step size of 2 to replace the focal layer to reduce the computational *** CBS layer in the ResBlock_Body module of the second,third,and fourth layers of the backbone layer is removed,and the CSPLayer module is replaced by the ResBlock-M module to speed up the *** auxiliary network(AlNet)with the remaining network blocks was added after the ResBlock-M module to improve the detection *** depth-separable convolutions(DsC)are used in the neck module layer to replace the normal convolution to reduce the computational *** evaluated the detection performance of SSD,YOLOv4 SSD,YOLOv4-Tiny,YOLO-Grape,YOLOv5-X,YOLOX-Tiny,and YOLOX-RA on a grape test *** results show that the YOLOX-RA model has the best detection performance,achieving 88.75%mAP,a recognition speed of 84.88 FPS,and model size of 17.53 *** can accurately detect densely grown and shaded grape bunches,which can effectively improve the performance of the grape picking robot.

Using Hodge theory and Banach fixed point theorem,Liu and zhu developed a global method to deal with various problems in deformation *** this note,the authors generalize Liu-zhu's method to treat two deformation problems for non-Kahler *** apply the ■■-Hodge theory to construct a deformation formula for(p,q)-forms of compact complex manifold under deformations,which can be used to study the Hodge number of complex manifold under *** the second part of this note,by using the ■■-Hodge theory,they provide a simple proof of the unobstructed deformation theorem for the non-Kahler Calabi-Yau ■■-manifolds.
