A bended ribbon biomass particle model was developed to explore the dynamic transport properties inside a riser *** time distribution(RTD)of the particles was analyzed by using the Eulerian-Lagrange *** effects of sampling height,particle density,particle size and gas-to-solid mass ratio on RTD were *** coupled Computational Fluid Dynamics and Discrete Element Method(CFD-DEM)model was verified firstly by experimental data on pressure drop and residence time distribution density *** simulation results demonstrated that the ribbon biomass particles display a typical annular-core spatial distribution during *** RTD of particles exhibit an approximate single-peaked normal *** mean residence time(MRT)can reach up to 0.7 s when the particle density is 1.00 kg/m^(3).Particle with higher density has longer mean residence *** flow patterns are closer to plug flow if particle length over 1. *** particle flow pattern is not sensitive to changes in particle density and size,while the gas-to-material mass ratio has a significant impact on it.

Organic donor-acceptor semiconductors exhibit great potential in photothermal ***,it is still challenging to achieve pure organic materials with broad absorption comparable with inorganic materials such as ***,two D-AD type DPA-BT-O4 and NDI-TPA-O4 and three D-A-π-A-D type Th-O4,Th2-O4,and IDT-O4 were readily prepared via two high-yield steps and simple air *** stability can be attributed to their multiple resonance structures based on the aromatic nitric acid radical *** with the D-A-D radicals,the conjugation extension of the D-A-π-A-D radicals endows them with a narrowed band gap and broad absorption in ***,the IDT-O4 powder with aggregation-induced radical effect exhibits broad absorption between 300 and 2500 nm,which is comparable with graphene and other inorganic *** irradiation of 0.9 W/cm^(2)(808 nm),the temperature of IDT-O4 powder rises to 250℃within 60 *** water evaporation conversion efficiency of 94.38%and an evaporation rate of 1.365 kg/m^(2)h^(−1.under one sun illumination were ***-O4 stands as one of the most efficient photothermal conversion materials among pure organic materials via a rational design strategy.

Effect of the grain boundary character distribution on the sulfur corrosion behaviour and mechanisms of copper windings under different high temperatures

As a typical failure phenomenon in transformers,sulfur corrosion has garnered significant attention in the field of high-voltage *** boundary character distribution(GBCD)copper windings have been introduced to enhance sulfur corrosion resistance by slowing down intergranular *** this study,the sulfur corrosion behaviour and mechanisms of the GBCD copper windings under various temperatures were experi-mentally and theoretically *** show that GBCD can enhance the corrosion resistance of copper in liquid *** the increase in temperatures,the insulating properties of oil and papers in traditional copper windings experience notable degradation,while GBCD copper windings show more stable insulating *** addition,modelling of grain boundary energy indicates that the grain boundary structure of GBCD copper windings has a lower average interface energy of 0.1.0 eV/Å***-culations of reaction thermodynamics show that GBCD copper windings possess a higher failure temperature(1.5.2℃)and inhibition degree(activation energy)of the sulfur corrosion(32,557.62 J/mol),revealing the stability and enhanced sulfur corrosion resis-tance at elevated temperatures.

Radiomics is a non-invasive method for extracting quantitative and higher-dimensional features from medical images for *** has received great attention due to its huge application prospects in recent *** can know that the number of features selected by the existing radiomics feature selectionmethods is basically about *** this paper,a heuristic feature selection method based on frequency iteration and multiple supervised training mode is *** on the combination between features,it decomposes all features layer by layer to select the optimal features for each layer,then fuses the optimal features to form a local optimal group layer by layer and iterates to the global optimal combination *** with the currentmethod with the best prediction performance in the three data sets,thismethod proposed in this paper can reduce the number of features fromabout ten to about three without losing classification accuracy and even significantly improving classification *** proposed method has better interpretability and generalization ability,which gives it great potential in the feature selection of radiomics.

It is of great significance to synthesize carbon dots(CDs)with desirable hydrophilicity for the ever-growing application of CDs in different *** this study,the hydrophilic and hydrophobic CDs were facilely prepared by solvothermal treatment of o-dihydroxybenzene and urea in N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF).Optimization experiments revealed that the solvothermal temperature has a great impact on the surface states of the *** hydrophobic CDs with a contact angle of 1.0.7°was obtained at 200℃.The structural and optical characterizations,along with theoretical calculations elucidated that the lipophilic nature of the CDs was resulting from the formation of polymer *** presence of extended conjugated sp^(2)-domains and amino groups contributed to the red emission of the CDs synthesized at low reaction temperatures(1.0-200℃).With the further increase of solvothermal temperature,the hydrophobic CDs were gradually transformed to the hydrophilic state accompanying the blue shift of the fluorescence of the *** highly hydrophilic CDs with a contact angle of 25.9°were obtained at 240℃ due to the increased formation of hydrophilic functional groups on the surface of *** red emissive CDs exhibited a sensitive color and fluorescence response to ethanol content while the fluorescence of the blue emissive CDs remained *** combining the two kinds of CDs,a dual-emission sensor was constructed,which was successfully applied for the evaluation of the alcoholic strength in commercial Baijiu commodities in both fluorometric and colorimetric modes.

Warm-sector rainstorms are highly localized events, with weather systems and triggering mechanisms are not obvious,leading to limited forecasting capabilities in numerical models. Based on the ensemble Kalman filter(PSU-En KF) assimilation system and the regional mesoscale model WRF, this study conducted a simulation experiment assimilating all-sky infrared(IR)radiance for a warm-sector rainstorm in East China and investigated the positive impact of assimilating the Himawari-8 moisture channel all-sky IR radiance on the forecast of the rainstorm. Results indicate that hourly cycling assimilation of all-sky IR radiance can significantly improve the forecast accuracy of this warm-sector rainstorm. There is a notable increase in the Threat Score(TS), with the simulated location and intensity of the 3-hour precipitation aligning more closely with observations. These improvements result from the assimilation of cloud-affected radiance, which introduces more mesoscale convective information into the model's initial fields. The adjustments include enhancements to the moisture field, such as increased humidity and moisture transport, and modifications to the wind field, including the intrusion of mid-level cold air and the strengthening of lowlevel convergent shear. These factors are critical in improving the forecast of this warm-sector rainstorm event.

Several pulsar timing array(PTA) collaborations have recently reported the evidence for a stochastic gravitational-wave background(SGWB), which can unveil the formation of primordial seeds of inhomogeneities in the early universe. With the SGWB parameters inferred from PTAs data, we can make a prediction of the seeds for early galaxy formation from the domain walls in the axion-like particles(ALPs) field distribution. This also naturally provides a solution to the observation of high redshifts by the James Webb Space Telescope. The predicted photon coupling of the ALP is within the reach of future experimental searches.
