Plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) is gaining interest in thin films for laser applications, and post-annealing treatments are often used to improve thin film properties. However, research to improve thin film properties.is often based on an expensive and time-consuming trial-and-error process. in this study, PEALD-HfO2 thin film samples were deposited and treated under different annealing atmospheres and temperatures. The samples were characterized in terms of their refractive indices, layer thicknesses and O/Hf ratios. The collected data were split into training and validation sets and fed to multiple back-propagation neural networks with different hidden layers to determine the best way to construct the process–performance relations.ip. The results showed that the three-hidden-layer back-propagation neural network (THL-BPNN) achieved stable and accurate fitting. For the refractive index, layer thickness and O/Hf ratio, the THL-BPNN model achieved accuracy values of 0.99, 0.94 and 0.94, respectively, on the training set and 0.99, 0.91 and 0.90, respectively, on the validation set. The THL-BPNN model was further used to predict the laser-induced damage threshold of PEALD-HfO2 thin films and the properties of the PEALD-siO2 thin films, both showing high accuracy. This study not only provides quantitative guidance for the improvement of thin film properties but also proposes a general model that can be applied to predict the properties of different types of laser thin films, saving experimental costs for process optimization.

Objectiveperitoneal free cancer cells can negatively impact disease progres.ion and patient outcomes.in gastric cancer. This study aimed to inves.igate the feasibility of using golden-angle radial sampling dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (GRAsP DCE-MRi) to predict the presence of peritoneal free cancer cells.in gastric cancer *** enrolled patients were consecutively divided into analysis and validation groups. Preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRi) scans and perfusion were performed in patients with gastric cancer undergoing surgery, and peritoneal lavage specimens were collected for examination. Based on the peritoneal lavage cytology (PLC) results, patients were divided into negative and positive lavage fluid groups. The data collected included clinical and MR information. A nomogram prediction model was constructed to predict the positive rate of peritoneal lavage fluid, and the validity of the model was verified based on data from the verification *** was no statis.ical difference between the proportion of PLC-positive cases predicted by GRAsP DCE-MR and the actual PLC test. MR tumor stage, tumor thickness, and perfusion parameter Tofts-Ketty model volume transfer constant (Ktrans) were independent predictors of positive peritoneal lavage fluid. The nomogram model featured a concordance index (C-index) of 0.785 and 0.742 for the modeling and validation groups, *** DCE-MR could effectively predict peritoneal free cancer cells.in gastric cancer patients. The nomogram model constructed using these predictors may help clinicians to better predict the risk of peritoneal free cancer cells being present in gastric cancer patients.

Objective:Obesity-induced kidney injury contributes to the development of diabetic nephropathy(DN).Here,we identified the functions of ubiquitin-specific peptidase 19(UsP19)in HK-2 cells exposed to a combination of high glucose(HG)and free fatty acid(FFA)and determined its association with TGF-beta-activated kinase 1(TAK1).Methods:HK-2 cells were exposed to a combination of HG and ***19 mRNA expres.ion was detected by quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR),and protein analysis was performed by immunoblotting(iB).Cell growth was assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)viability and 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine(EdU)proliferation *** cycle distribution and apoptosis were detected by flow *** UsP19/TAK1 interaction and ubiquitinated TAK1 levels were assayed by coimmunoprecipitation(Co-iP)assays and ***:in HG+FFA-challenged HK-2 cells,UsP19 was highly ***19 knockdown attenuated HG+FFA-triggered growth inhibition and apoptosis promotion in HK-2 ***,UsP19 knockdown alleviated HG+FFA-mediated PTEN-induced putative kinase 1(PiNK1)/Parkin pathway inactivation and increased mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(ROs)generation in HK-2 ***,UsP19 stabilized the TAK1 protein through ***,increased TAK1 expres.ion reversed the UsP19 knockdown-mediated phenotypic changes and PiNKl/Parkin pathway activation in HG+FFA-challenged HK-2 ***:The findings revealed that UsP19 plays a crucial role in promoting HK-2 cell dysfunction induced by combined s.imulation with HG and FFAs by stabilizing TAK1,providing a potential therapeutic strategy for combating DN.

s.inal cord injury triggers complex pathological cascades,resulting in destructive tissue damage and incomplete tissue *** formation is generally considered a barrier for regeneration in the central nervous ***,the intrinsic mechanism of scar formation after s.inal cord injury has not been fully ***,we report that excess cholesterol accumulates.in phagocytes and is.inefficiently removed from s.inal cord lesions.in young adult ***,we observed that exces.ive cholesterol also accumulates.in injured peripheral nerves but is subsequently removed by reverse ***,preventing reverse cholesterol transport leads to macrophage accumulation and fibrosis.in injured peripheral ***,the neonatal mouse s.inal cord lesions are devoid of myelin-derived lipids and can heal without excess cholesterol *** found that transplantation of myelin into neonatal lesions disrupts healing with exces.ive cholesterol accumulation,persistent macrophage activation,and *** internalization suppresses macrophage apoptosis mediated by CD5L expres.ion,indicating that myelin-derived cholesterol plays a critical role in impaired wound *** together,our data suggest that the central nervous system lacks an efficient approach for cholesterol clearance,resulting in exces.ive accumulation of myelin-derived cholesterol,thereby inducing scar formation after injury.

Porous silica particles have shown great potential application as reinforcing fillers.in the field of dentistry due to their ability to construct the micromechanical interlocking effect at filler-matrix ***,how to accurately regulate the pore structure,especially the pore size,to increase the degree of the micromechanical interlocking and the performance of materials remains a ***,we have proposed a facile self-assembly process to synthesize dendritic porous silica with tunable pore sizes(DPs-x)by adjus.ing the chain-length of the alcohols.in the *** mechanism of nucleation-growth is further put *** results.indicate that the pore size of DPs-x indeed affects the mechanical property of composites,where the DPspen particles with intermediate pore size are chosen as the optimal reinforcing *** bimodal and multimodal filler formulations are further established to address the loading limitation of unimodal DPs-pen(46 wt.%).in virtue of the closepacked structure of identical spheres,the particle sizes of secondary silica embedded into the maximally loaded bimodal D3s7 composite(DPs-pen:si430=30:70,w/w)are theoretically calculated without *** all formulations,the developed multimodal D3s7+si178+si90 filler exhibits superior mechanical properties,the lowest shrinkage,and high polymerization conversion for dental composites,along with satis.ied waster sorption and solubility,and good biocompatibility in vitro and in vivo,which are comparable to commercial composite Z350 XT(3M,UsA).These DPs-x particles and their multimodal fillers can also be applied to other polymer-based biomaterials.

Exploding foil initiator(EFi)is a kind of advanced device for initiating explosives,but its function is unstable when it comes to directly igniting *** solve the problem,this research aims to reveal the ignition mechanism of EFis directly igniting *** os.illoscope,a photon Doppler velocimetry,and a plasma spectrum measurement system were employed to obtain information of electric characteris.ics.impact pressure,and plasma *** results of the electric characteris.ics and the impact pressure were inconsistent with ignition *** only thing that the ignition success tests had in common was that their plasma all had a relatively long period of high-temperature duration(HTD).it eventually concludes that the ignition mechanism in this research is the microconvection heat transfer rather than the shock initiation,which differs from that of exploding foil initiators detonating ***,the methods for evaluating the ignition success of semiconductor bridge initiators are not entirely applicable to the tests mentioned in this *** HTD is the critical parameter for judging the ignition success,and it is.influenced by two factors:the late time discharge and the energy of the electric *** longer time of the late time discharge and the more energy of the electric explosion,the easier it is to expand the HTD,which improves the probability of the ignition success.

Citrus.is the typical mycorrhizal fruit tree species establis.ing symbiosis with arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. However, arbuscule development and senescence in colonized citrus roots, especially in response to drought stress, remain unclear, which is mainly due to the difficulty in clearing and staining lignified roots with the conventional method. Here, we improved the observation of colonized roots of citrus plants with the sectioning method, which enabled the clear observation of AM fungal structures. Furthermore, we inves.igated the effects of one week of drought stress on arbuscule development and senescence with the sectioning method. Microscopy observations.indicated that drought stress significantly decreased mycorrhizal colonization (F%and M%) although it did not affect plant growth performance. Fluorescence probes (WGA 488 and/or Nile red) revealed that drought stress.inhibited arbuscule development by increasing the percentage of arbuscules at the early stage and decreasing the percentages of arbuscules at the midterm and mature stages. Meanwhile, drought stress accelerated arbuscule senescence, which was characterized by the increased accumulation of neutral lipids. Overall, the sectioning method developed in this study enables the in-depth inves.igation of arbuscule status, and drought stress can inhibit arbuscule development but accelerate arbuscule senescence in the colonized roots of citrus plants. This study paves the way to elaborately dissecting the arbuscule dynamics.in the roots of fruit tree species.in response to diverse abiotic stresses.

With the construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir dam,frequent reservoir lands.ide events have been *** recent years,multi-row stabilizing piles(MRsPs)have been used to stabilize mas.ive reservoir lands.ides.in *** this study,two centrifuge model tests were carried out to study the unreinforced and MRsP-reinforced slopes subjected to reservoir water level(RWL)operation,using the Taping lands.ide as a *** results.indicate that the RWL rising can provide lateral support within the submerged zone and then produce the inward seepage force,eventually strengthening the slope ***,a rapid RWL drawdown may induce outward seepage forces and a sudden debuttres.ing effect,consequently reducing the effective s.il normal stress and triggering partial pre-failure within the RWL fluctuation ***,partial deformation and subsequent s.il structure damage generate excess pore water pressures,ultimately leading to the overall failure of the reservoir *** study also reveals that a rapid increase in the downslope driving force due to RWL drawdown significantly intensifies the lateral earth pressures exerted on the ***,the MRsPs possess a considerable reinforcement effect on the reservoir lands.ide,transforming the overall failure into a partial deformation and failure situated above and in front of the *** mechanical transfer behavior observed in the MRsPs demonstrates a progres.ive alteration in relation to RWL *** the RWL rises,the mechanical states among MRsPs exhibit a growing *** shear force transfer factor(*** ratio of shear forces on pile of the n th row to that of the first row)increases significantly with the RWL *** indicates that the mechanical states among MRsPs tend toward an enhanced *** insights gained from this study contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the failure mechanisms of reservoir lands.ides and the mechanical behavior of M

Cas.iopeia A(Cas A) is a well-known candidate for studying cos.ic-ray acceleration, in which compact features of various scales have attracted much attention. Based on observations by the Very Large Array of Cas A at 6 cm and 21 cm, we measure the spectral index distribution of various scale components using the observation of the 1998 epoch. We decompose its total density image into nine scale components, and map the temperature spectral index distribution of each component, which ranges from-2.48 ± 0.01 to-2.91 ± 0.05. We find that the spectral indices.increase from the small scale to large scale components. A damped post-shock magnetic field model with a strength larger than ~200 μG and a damping length scale less than ~10% of the remnant radius can account for the spectral index variation naturally.
