In this paper， a new method for converting the T;（relaxation time） of NMR （Nuclear Magnetic Resonance） into the pore radius is proposed. Combined with NMR and centrifugation experiments， the relationship between pore radius and T;of the sample was established. The results show that the new method is more reasonable than the traditional method. When the sample was denser and the mercury saturation was lower， the pore distribution curve was obtained by traditional method had a worse agreement with mercury injection experiment， while pore distribution curve of the new method had a better agreement with the mercury injection curve， which reflected the greater advantage of the new method as the reservoir becomes denser. The new method can obtain all the pore information in the sample. The results show that the pores in tight sandstone are mainly consisted with mesopore and macropore， and the connectivity of macropore is better than that of mesopore. The new method can effectively characterize the full pore distribution and the seepage characteristics in different pores interval of tight reservoirs， which had a great significance to evaluate the recoverable resources of tight reservoir.

目的比较虚拟现实(virtual reality, VR)技术中手套和手柄在直升机航空救援培训中的运用效果, 挖掘更优的VR航空救援培训模式及设备平台。方法采用对照研究, 整群抽取40名本科在读学生, 随机分为VR手套、VR手柄组, 每组20人。以车祸后颅脑创伤航空救援为脚本, 分别使用VR手套和VR手柄进行训练, 分析训练效果;并进行VR考核和现实模拟考核, 考核内容包括操作及评估判断、总耗时。培训完成后, 对2组学生进行问卷调查。结果在VR考核中, 手柄组学员耗时(26.94±2.00)min, 低于手套组的(31.23±2.23)min, 差异有统计学意义(t=6.42, P<0.001)。现实模拟考核中, 手套组学员的操作得分为(37.80±7.08)分, 高于手柄组的(30.40±6.07)分, 差异有统计学意义(t=3.55, P<0.001)。手套组学员VR考核与现实模拟考核得分差异无统计学意义。手柄组学员现实模拟操作得分[(30.40±6.07)分]低于VR操作得分[(36.20±8.15)分], 差异有统计学意义(t=2.55, P=0.015);现实模拟耗时[(30.25±1.66)min]高于VR耗时[(26.94±2.00)min], 差异有统计学意义(t=5.59, P<0.001)。手套组学员对动作多样性、与现实结合紧密度打分高于手柄组(Z=-4.00、-2.00, P<0.001、=0.045), 定位精确度、按键功能丰富度打分低于手柄组(Z=-2.30、t=5.70, P=0.022、<0.001)。结论 VR技术在直升机航空救援培训中有一定的优势, 前景广阔。作为VR人机数据交换设备, 虽然手套和手柄都各有不足, 但均有较好的教学效果。仍需提高VR的软硬件设备水平, 多方面提升航空救援的教学质量。

The Omicron family of SARS-CoV-2 variants are currently driving the COVID-19 pandemic.Here we analyzed the clinical laboratory test results of 9911 Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages-infected symptomatic patients without earlier infection histories during a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Shanghai in spring 2022.Compared to an earlier patient cohort infected by SARS-CoV-2 prototype strains in 2020,BA.2.2 infection led to distinct fluctuations of pathophysiological markers in the peripheral blood.In particular,severe/critical cases of COVID19 post BA.2.2 infection were associated with less pro-inflammatory macrophage activation and stronger interferon alpha response in the bronchoalveolar microenvironment.Importantly,the abnormal biomarkers were significantly subdued in individuals who had been immunized by 2 or 3 doses of SARS-CoV-2 prototypeinactivated vaccines,supporting the estimation of an overall 96.02% of protection rate against severe/critical disease in the 4854 cases in our BA.2.2 patient cohort with traceable vaccination records.Furthermore,even though age was a critical risk factor of the severity of COVID-19 post BA.2.2 infection,vaccination-elicited protection against severe/critical COVID-19 reached 90.15% in patients aged≥60 years old.Together,our study delineates the pathophysiological features of Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages and demonstrates significant protection conferred by prior prototype-based inactivated vaccines.

Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide.In the pathogen-esis of glaucoma,activated microglia can lead to retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)apoptosis and death,however,the molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown.We demonstrate that phospholipid scramblase 1(PLSCR1)is a key regulator promoting RGCs apoptosis and their clearance by microglia.As evidenced in retinal progenitor cells and RGCs of the acute ocular hypertension(AOH)mouse model,overexpressed PLSCR1 induced its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and cytomembrane,as well as elevated phosphatidylserine exposure and reactive oxygen species generation with subsequent RGCs apoptosis and death.These damages were effectively attenuated by PLSCR1 inhibition.In the AOH model,PLSCR1 led to an increase in M1 type microglia activation and retinal neuroinflammation.Upregulation of PLSCR1 resulted in strongly elevated phagocytosis of apoptotic RGCs by activated microglia.Taken together,our study provides important insights linking activated microglia to RGCs death in the glaucoma pathogenesis and other RGC-related neurodegenerative diseases.

Impact statement Nonhuman primates(NHPs)such as monkeys are the closest living relatives to humans and are the best available models for causative studies of human health and diseases.Gut microbiomes are intensively involved in host health.In this study,by large-scale cultivation of microbes from fecal samples of monkeys,we obtained previously uncultured bacterial species and constructed a Macaca fascicularis Gut Microbial Biobank(MfGMB).The MfGMB consisted of 250 strains that represent 97 species of 63 genera,25 families,and 4 phyla.The information of the 250 strains and the genomes of 97 cultured species are publicly accessible.The MfGMB represented nearly 50% of core gut microbial compositions at the genus level and covered over 80% of the KO-based known gut microbiome functions of M.fascicularis.Data mining showed that the bacterial species in the MfGMB were prevalent not only in NHPs gut microbiomes but also in human gut microbiomes.This study will help the understanding and future investigations on how gut microbiomes interact with their mammalian hosts.

High-performance germanium(Ge)waveguide photodetectors are designed and fabricated utilizing the inductivegain-peaking technique.With the appropriate integrated inductors,the 3-dB bandwidth of photodetectors is significantly improved owing to the inductive-gain-peaking effect without any compromises to the dark current and optical responsivity.Measured 3-dB bandwidth up to 75 GHz is realized and clear open eye diagrams at 64 Gbps are observed.In this work,the relationship between the frequency response and large signal transmission characteristics on the integrated inductors of Ge waveguide photodetectors is investigated,which indicates the high-speed performance of photodetectors using the inductive-gainpeaking technique.

Because high temperatures impair rice production,it is desirable to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms involved in rice response to heat stress.The objectives of this study were to identify candidate genes and characterize their response patterns during rice adaptation to high temperatures at the seedling stage.Ten heat-associated quantitative-trait loci were identified in a genome-wide association study.Comparison of transcript abundances in heat-sensitive and heat-tolerant rice pools under heat stress revealed approximately 400 differentially expressed genes.The expression of genes from heatsensitive accessions changed more than those from heat-tolerant accessions under heat stress.Alternative splicing(AS)events responded to heat stress in rice.The types of AS variants significant different between the heat-sensitive and heat-tolerant accessions.Expression patterns differing between the heat-sensitive and heat-tolerant accessions were identified for genes known to be involved in heat stress.We identified eleven genes associated with rice heat stress response.These genes could be pyramided to breed heat-tolerant rice accessions.

Schistosomiasis is one of the most prevalent parasitic diseases in China, and hepatic fibrosis caused by schistosome infection is the principal cause of death. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of NPll-4- derived immunotoxin scFv-artesunate on Schistosoma japonicum-induced hepatic fibrosis. A single-chain variable fragment （scFv） was generated from the murine anti-Schistosoma japonicum （S. japanicum） monoclonal antibody NP11-4. The scFv was expressed as a soluble protein and purified by Ni-affinity chromatography. After conjuga- tion with artesunate, the binding ability with soluble egg antigens （SEA） was determined by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. The biological activity of purified scFv, scFv-artesunate （immunotoxin）, and artesunate was detected in vivo. Image-Pro Plus software was used to analyze the size of egg granuloma and the extent of liver fibrosis. The recombinant scFv expession vector was constructed and expressed successfully. After purification by a His-trap Ni-affinity column, the scFv yield was approximately 0.8 mg/L of culture medium. ELISA results showed that chemical conjugation did not affect the binding activity of the immunotoxin. Our animal experiments indicated that the immunotoxin could significantly reduce the size of egg granuloma in the liver and inhibit hepatic fibrosis. The immunotoxin could be used as a promising candidate in the targeted therapy of S. .japonicum-induced hepatic fibrosis.

Passive all-optical signal processors that overcome the electronic bottleneck can potentially be the enabling components for the next-generation high-speed and lower power consumption systems. Here, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a CMOS-compatible waveguide and its application to the all-optical analog-to-digital converter(ADC) under the nonlinear spectral splitting and filtering scheme. As the key component of the proposed ADC, a 50 cm long high-index doped silica glass spiral waveguide is composed of a thin silicon-nanocrystal(Si-nc) layer embedded in the core center for enhanced nonlinearity. The device simultaneously possesses low loss(0.16 dB/cm at 1550 nm), large nonlinearity(305 W^-1∕km at 1550 nm), and negligible nonlinear absorption.A 2-bit ADC basic unit is achieved when pumped by the proposed waveguide structure at the telecom band and without any additional amplification. Simulation results that are consistent with the experimental ones are also demonstrated, which further confirm the feasibility of the proposed scheme for larger quantization resolution.This demonstrated approach enables a fully monolithic solution for all-optical ADC in the future, which can digitize broadband optical signals directly at low power consumption. This has great potential on the applications of high-speed optical communications, networks, and signal processing systems.
