Preventive transient stability control is an effective measure for the power system to withstand high-probability severe *** is mathematically an optimal power flow problem with transient stability *** to the constraints involved for differential algebraic equations of transient stability,it is difficult and time-consuming to solve this *** address these issues,this paper presents a novel deep reinforcement learning(DRL)framework for preventive transient stability control of power systems.A distributed deep deterministic policy gradient is utilized to train a DRL agent that can learn its control policy through massive interactions with a grid *** properly trained,the DRL agent can instantaneously provide effective strategies to adjust the system to a safe operating position with a near-optimal operational *** effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through numerical experiments conducted on a New England 39-bus system and NPCC 140-bus system.

Due to the significant effect of abnormal arrivals on localization accuracy,a novel acoustic emission(AE)source localization method using clustering detection to eliminate abnormal arrivals is proposed in the ***,iterative weight estimation is utilized to obtain accurate equation ***,according to the distribution of equation residuals,clustering detection is used to identify and exclude abnormal ***,the AE source coordinate is recalculated with remaining normal *** results of pencil-lead breaks indicate that the proposed method can achieve a better localization result with and without abnormal *** results of simulation tests further demonstrate that the proposed method possesses higher localization accuracy and robustness under different anomaly ratios and scales;even with abnormal arrivals as high as 30%,the proposed localization method still holds a correct detection rate of 91.85%.

A series of novel quinolinyl imidazolidin-2-imine nickel complexes with different substituents on the imidazolidin-2-imine ligand were synthesized and *** complexes in the presence of methylaluminoxane(MAO)as a cocatalyst catalyzed the copolymerization of norbornene(N)and styrene(S)or para-chlorostyrene(CS)with high activity(up to 1070 kg·mol^-1·h^-1).The installation of sterically bulky substituents on the imidazolidine-2-imine ligand was effective for the increase of the molecular weight and the comonomer content,affording high molecular weight copolymers with tunable CS content(0.57 mol%-11.7 mol%),in which the existence of CI group can provide reaction site for the further functionalization of copolymers as well as the synthesis of graft or cross-linked *** linear relationship between the comonomer content and the glass transition temperature of the copolymers and the monomer reactivity ratios in the copolymerization indicated the formation of the expected functionalized cyclic olefin copolymers(COC).

CO_(2) drilling is a promising underbalance drilling technology with great advantages,such as lower cutting force,intense cooling and excellent ***,in the underbalance drilling,the mechanism of the coupling CO_(2) jet and polycrystalline-diamond-compact(PDC)cutter are still ***,we established a coupled smoothed particle hydrodynamics/finite element method(SPH/FEM)model to simulate the composite rock-breaking of high-pressure CO_(2) jet&PDC *** with the experimental research results,the mechanism of composite rock-breaking is studied from the perspectives of rock stress field,cutting force and jet *** results show that the composite rock-breaking can effectively relieve the influence of vibration and shock on PDC ***,the high-pressure CO_(2) jet has a positive effect on carrying rock debris,which can effectively reduce the temperature rising and the thermal wear of the PDC *** addition,the effects of CO_(2) jet parameters on composite rock-breaking were studied,such as jet impact velocity,nozzle diameter,jet injection angle and impact *** studies show that when the impact velocity of the CO_(2) jet is greater than 250 m/s,the CO_(2) jet could quickly break the *** is found that the optimal range of nozzle diameter is 1.5–2.5 mm,the best injection angle of CO_(2) jet is 60,the optimal impact distance is 10 times the nozzle *** above studies could provide theoretical supports and technical guidance for composite rock-breaking,which is useful for the CO_(2) underbalance drilling and drill bit design.

Carbon dioxide conversion into valuable products using photocatalysis and electrocatalysis is an effective approach to mitigate global environmental issues and the energy shortages. Among the materials utilized for catalytic reduction of CO_(2), Cu-based materials are highly advantageous owing to their widespread availability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. Furthermore, Cu-based materials demonstrate interesting abilities in the adsorption and activation of carbon dioxide, allowing the formation of C_(2+) compounds through C–C coupling process. Herein, the basic principles of photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reactions(PCO_(2)RR) and electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(ECO_(2)RR) and the pathways for the generation C_(2+) products are introduced. This review categorizes Cu-based materials into different groups including Cu metal, Cu oxides, Cu alloys, and Cu SACs, Cu heterojunctions based on their catalytic applications. The relationship between the Cu surfaces and their efficiency in both PCO_(2)RR and ECO_(2)RR is emphasized. Through a review of recent studies on PCO_(2)RR and ECO_(2)RR using Cu-based catalysts, the focus is on understanding the underlying reasons for the enhanced selectivity toward C_(2+) products. Finally, the opportunities and challenges associated with Cu-based materials in the CO_(2) catalytic reduction applications are presented, along with research directions that can guide for the design of highly active and selective Cu-based materials for CO_(2) reduction processes in the future.

Flexible solid-state battery has several unique characteristics including high flexibility,easy portability,and high safety,which may have broad application prospects in new technology products such as rollup displays,power implantable medical devices,and wearable *** interfacial mechanical and electrochemical problems caused by bending deformation,resulting in the battery damage and failure,are particularly ***,a fully coupled electro-chemo-mechanical model is developed based on the actual solid-state battery ***-dependent material parameters,stress-dependent diffusion,and potential shift are *** to four bending forms(k=8/mm,0/mm,-8/mm,and free),the results show that the negative curvature bending is beneficial to reducing the plastic strain during charging/discharging,while the positive curvature is ***,with respect to the electrochemical performance,the negative curvature bending creates a negative potential shift,which causes the battery to reach the cut-off voltage earlier and results in capacity *** results enlighten us that suitable electrode materials and charging strategy can be tailored to reduce plastic deformation and improve battery capacity for different forms of battery bending.

Commercial paper is of great potential as a ready-made substrate to make battery separator due to superior electrolyte affinity of ***,the direct utilization of commercial paper as a separator is impracticable because of its micro-sized holes between coarse cellulose fibers,which might induce short ***,a novel reinforced composite separator is proposed by modifying commercial paper(CP)with highdielectric polymer poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)via a vacuum filtration *** paper substrate enables excellent electrolyte wettability and high ionic conductivity of the CP-PVDF composite separator due to the superior electrolyte affinity of cellulose ***,the strong hydrogen bonds between F atoms in PVDF and H atoms in the-OH groups of cellulose endow the separator with high thermal stability and mechanical ***,the CP-PVDF exhibits outstanding interfacial compatibility toward Li metal anode and guarantees the prominent cycle durability of symmetric Li/Li cells up to 600 *** a result,the LiFePO_(4)/Li cells assembled with CP-PVDF separator show dramatic rate performance with high discharge capacity of 113.7 m Ah g^(-1),and prolonged cycle life at 5 *** work indicates that the paper-based composite membranes possess great potential for high-safety and electrochemical performance batteries.

Chemical looping combustion(CLC)is an energy conversion technology with high efficiency and inherent separation of CO_(2).The existence of sulfur in coal may affect the CO_(2) purity and the performance of oxygen carrier due to the interactions between sulfur contaminants and oxygen *** migration of sulfur in Beisu coal during the in-situ gasification chemical looping combustion(i G-CLC)process using two oxygen carriers(iron ore and Cu O/Si O_(2))was investigated *** thermodynamic analysis results showed the formation of metal sulfides was thermodynamically favored at low temperatures and low oxygen excess coefficients,while they were obviously inhibited and the production of SO_(2) was significantly promoted with an increase in temperature and oxygen excess ***,part of sulfur was captured and fixed in the forms of alkali/alkaline earth metal sulfate due to the high amount of alkali/alkaline earth metal oxides in the coal ash or/and oxygen *** experimental results showed that the sulfur in coal mainly released in the form of SO_(2),and the sulfur conversion efficiency(XS)in the reduction stage were 51.04%and 48.24%when using iron ore and Cu O/Si O_(2) *** existence of metal sulfides was observed in the reduced oxygen *** values of XSin the reoxidation process reached 3.80%and 7.64%when using iron ore and Cu O/Si O_(2) *** residue and accumulation of sulfur were also found on the surfaces of two oxygen carriers.
