Spinal cord injury(ScI)is one of the most devastating traumas,and the aberrant proliferation of astrocytes usually causes neurological ***,the mechanism underlying astrocyte over-proliferation after ScI is ***2c(glutamate ionotropic receptor type 2c)plays an essential role in cell *** bioinformatic analysis indicated that Grin2c and ca^(2+)transport functions were inhibited in astrocytes after *** of Grin2c stimulated astrocyte proliferation by inhibiting the ca^(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 2b(caMK2b)pathway in *** screening different inflammatory factors,interleukin 1α(IL1α)was further found to inhibit Grin2c/ca^(2+)/caMK2b and enhance astrocyte proliferation in an oxidative damage *** of IL1αusing neutralizing antibody resulted in increased Grin2c expression and the inhibition of astrocyte proliferation ***,this study suggests that IL1αpromotes astrocyte proliferation by suppressing the Grin2c/ca^(2+)/caMK2b pathway after ScI,revealing a novel pathological mechanism of astrocyte proliferation,and may provide potential targets for ScI repair.

Slits have been widely used in laser-plasma interactions as plasma optical components for generating high-harmonic light and controlling laser-driven particle ***,we propose and demonstrate that periodic thin slits can be regarded as a new breed of optical elements for efficient focusing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental physics of intense laser interaction with thin slits is studied,and it is revealed that relativistic effects can lead to enhanced laser focusing far beyond the pure diffractive focusing *** addition,the interaction of an intense laser pulse with periodic thin slits makes it feasible to achieve multifold enhancement in both laser intensity and energy transfer efficiency compared with conventional *** results provide a novel method for manipulating ultra-intense laser pulses and should be of interest for many laser-based applications.

Gravity models given by higher-order scalar curvature corrections are believed to bear important consequences. Einstein-bel-Robinson (EbR) gravity with quartic curvature modification motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static spherically symmetric.b.ack hole solutions using perturbative methods. In this study, inspired by their work, we investigate AdS black hole shadows in EbR gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same problem in the presence of plasma, because the black holes are thought to be surrounded by a medium that changes the geodesic of photons.

A model for predicting the segregation directions of binary Geldart b particle mixtures in bubbling fluidized beds

In gas fluidization processes involving different types of particles,the mixing or segregation behavior of the solid mixture is crucial to the overall outcome of the *** study develops a model to predict the segregation directions of binary mixtures of Geldart b particles with density and size differences in bubbling fluidized *** proposed model was established by combining the particle segregation model,a previous particle segregation model,with a derived bed voidage equation of the bubbling fluidization based on the two-phase *** model was then analyzed with different function graphs of the model equations under various *** results indicated that an increase in gas velocity or volume fraction of larger particles would strengthen size segregation,causing the larger and less dense components to *** validate the model,42 sets of data collected from 6 independent literature sources were compared with the predictions of the *** the gas velocities were below 3.2 times the minimum gas velocity,the predictions were consistent with experimental *** study has shed new light on the mechanisms of particle segregation in binary fluidized systems and provides a theoretical foundation for designing and manipulating gas-solid fluidized reactors.

The role of NF-κb and the NLRP3 inflammasome in the chronic inflammatory microenvironment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)has been posited as *** Yanggan Jiangmei Formula(YGJMF)has shown promise in ameliorating hepatic steatosis in NASH patients,yet its pharmacological mechanisms remain largely *** study was conducted to investigate the efficacy of YGJMF in NASH and to elucidate its pharmacological *** simulate NASH both in vivo and in vitro,high-fat-diet(HFD)rats and HepG2 cells stimulated with free fatty acids(FFAs)were *** severity of liver injury and lipid deposition was assessed using serum indicators,histopathological staining,micro-magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),and the liver-tomuscle signal intensity ratio(SIRL/M).Furthermore,a combination of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),immunohistochemistry(IHc),immunofluorescence,real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPcR),and Western blotting analyses was employed to investigate the NF-κb/NLRP3 signaling pathway and associated cytokine *** results from liver pathology,MRI assessments,and biochemical tests in rat models demonstrated YGJMF’s significant effectiveness in reducing liver damage and lipid ***,YGJMF markedly reduced hepatocyte inflammation by downregulating inflammatory cytokines in both liver tissue and ***,YGJMF was found to disrupt NF-κb activation,consequently inhibiting the assembly of the NLRP3 inflammasome in both the in vitro and in vivo *** preliminary findings of this study suggest that YGJMF may alleviate hepatic steatosis and inhibit the NF-κb/NLRP3 signaling pathway,thereby exerting anti-inflammatory effects in NASH.

Usually it is generally believed that the Er element forms the Er_(2)Fe_(14)b phase,which will seriously deteriorate the magnetic ***,here we report the balance of corrosion resistance and coercivity in Nd-Fe-b sintered magnets through using simple Er_(30)cu_(70) additive whose price is much lower than Dy and *** reasonably controlling Er_(30)cu_(70) addition,the corrosion resistance is improved at the minimum limit of reducing the magnetic *** studying the influence mechanism of Er element,it is found that the main effect of Er elements is to replace the Nd elements at the edge of the main phase grains to form a(Er,Nd)_(2)Fe_(14)b shell with low H_(A),resulting in the reduction of magnetic *** improvement of corrosion resistance mainly comes from the more stable cu element introduced at the grain *** the same time,the target magnets also show different advantages under different heat treatment *** findings may spur progress towards developing the lowcost permanent magnets that rival the commercial Nd-Fe-b counterpart.
