Enrichment characteristics of normal-pressure marine shale gas in the complex tectonic zone: a case study of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in northern Guizhou

The Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation is a crucial stratum for the exploration of normal-pressure marine shale gas in southern China， with great development potential. To research the normal-pressure shale gas accumulation of the Niutitang Formation in the complex tectonic zone， the shale cores in northern Guizhou were subjected to X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) observation， and tests were conducted to determine total organic content (TOC)， bitumen reflectance， and nitrogen isotopes. The results indicate that the equivalent vitrinite reflectance of cores varies from 2.30% to 3.73%， and the TOC content of cores varies from 3.8% to 7.8%. The total gas content of three wells in northern Guizhou is 0.5 m3/t， 0.3 m3/t， and 1.4 m3/t， respectively. The TOC content of the shale in the syncline structure is higher than that of the shale in the anticline structure. Nitrogen in shale gas originates primarily from the thermal ammoniation of organic matter， the atmosphere， and the deep crust. Shale gas preservation is favourable in regions with a large range of lifting， and small lifting differences. The syncline is broad and gentle with few faults have better gas accumulation conditions. The Niutitang Formation in the residual syncline of the study area has better gas content than that of other structures. Exploration of shale gas accumulation sweet spots in northern Guizhou should focus on the broad-gentle synclines with minimal changes in stratigraphic lifting， few faults， and no hydrothermal activity at the edges of paleo-uplifts.

Common wheat(Triticum aestivum L.,2n=6x=42,AABBDD)is one of the most widely grown crops worldwide,providing about 20%of the daily calories and protein consumed by humans(Shiferaw et al.,2013).The world population is projected to reach 9.8 billion in 2050(https://***/en/desa/world-population-projectedreach-98-billion-2050-and-112-billion-2100);thus,to meet the challenges of global food and nutritional security,wheat yields must continue to be increased through breeding programs and improved agricultural techniques(Hunter et al.,2017).

Historical geoclimatic events have profoundly shaped the distribution patterns and interspecific divergence of *** phylogeographical studies in China have focused on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau（QTP） and surrounding areas due to the complex topography and high species diversity,but the speciation and spatiotemporal population dynamics of cold-tolerant herbal species in the high altitude QTP and adjacent areas remains poorly *** this study,we investigated the genetic structure,population dynamics and species divergence history of four endangered herbs of Notopterygium（***,***,***,and ***） in the QTP and adjacent *** sequenced 10 nuclear loci,two mitochondrial DNA regions and one chloroplast DNA regions in 340 individuals sampled from 72 natural populations of these four species,and tested the hypothesis that the evolutionary history of species was markedly affected by Pliocene QTP uplifts and Quaternary climatic *** results showed that:（1） Four Notopterygium species have the low level of genetic diversity,while genetic variations mainly occurred among species.（2） *** formed a monophyletic clade with high bootstrap support in the phylogenetic tree,where *** and *** showed a close genetic relationship.（3） The divergence between the four Notopterygium species occurred approximately between 1.74 to 6.32 Mya,it was significantly associated with recent extensive uplifts of the QTP.（4） Species distribution modeling and population genetics analysis showed that *** and *** exhibited obvious demographic expansions during the Last Glacial maximum（LGM）,but *** occurred demographic *** findings point to the importance of geological and climatic changes during the Pliocene and Pleistocene as causes of intraspecific diversification and interspecific differentiation of cold-tolerant herbal species in the QTP biodiversity hot spot region.

Background: Clinical opportunistic screening is a cost-effective cancer screening modality. This study aimed to establish an easy-to-use diagnostic model serving as a risk stratification tool for identification of individuals with malignant gastric lesions for opportunistic ***: We developed a questionnaire-based diagnostic model using a joint dataset including two clinical cohorts from northern and southern China. The cohorts consisted of 17,360 outpatients who had undergone upper gastrointestinal endoscopic examination in endoscopic clinics. The final model was derived based on unconditional logistic regression, and predictors were selected according to the Akaike information criterion. External validation was carried out with 32,614 participants from a community-based randomized controlled ***: This questionnaire-based diagnostic model for malignant gastric lesions had eight predictors, including advanced age, male gender, family history of gastric cancer, low body mass index, unexplained weight loss, consumption of leftover food, consumption of preserved food, and epigastric pain. This model showed high discriminative power in the development set with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of 0.791 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.750–0.831). External validation of the model in the general population generated an AUC of 0.696 (95% CI: 0.570–0.822). This model showed an ideal ability for enriching prevalent malignant gastric lesions when applied to various ***: This easy-to-use questionnaire-based model for diagnosis of prevalent malignant gastric lesions may serve as an effective prescreening tool in clinical opportunistic screening for gastric cancer.
