The immunoprotective components control COVID-19 disease severity,as well as long-term adaptive immunity maintenance and subsequent reinfection risk discrepancies across initial COVID-19 severity,remain ***,we longitudinally analyzed SARS-CoV-2-specific immune effectors during the acute infection and convalescent phases of 165 patients with COVID-19 categorized by *** found that early and robust SARS-CoV-2-specific CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell responses ameliorate disease progression and shortened hospital stay,while delayed and attenuated virus-specific CD8^(+)T cell responses are prominent severe COVID-19 *** antiviral antibody generation rather than titer level associates with severe ***,initial COVID-19 severity imprints the long-term maintenance of SARS-CoV-2-specific adaptive immunity,demonstrating that severe convalescents exhibited more sustained virus-specific antibodies and memory T cell responses compared to mild/moderate ***,initial COVID-19 severity inversely correlates with SARS-CoV-2 reinfection ***,our study unravels the complicated interaction between temporal characteristics of virus-specific T cell responses and COVID-19 severity to guide future SARS-CoV-2 wave management.

目的对比不同手术方式对胃溃疡患者胃肠功能的恢复及安全性。方法选取2020年6月至2023年6月山东省高密市人民医院收治的160例胃溃疡患者,随机数字表法分为传统开腹组、腹腔镜组,传统开腹组予以传统开腹修补术治疗,腹腔镜组予以腹腔镜修补术治疗;比较两组临床疗效,及两组炎症因子水平、胃消化功能相关指标、胃肠动力学相关指标及疼痛评分,比较两组并发症发生情况。结果手术后,腹腔镜组MTL、PG水平和治疗总有效率均高于传统开腹组(均P<0.05);手术后,腹腔镜组IL-6、TNF-α、CCK、G-17水平及VAS评分和并发症发生率均低于传统开腹组(均P<0.05)。结论腹腔镜修补术效果优于传统开腹修补术,可有效改善炎症因子水平、胃功能、胃肠功能,减少并发症的出现,促进术后快速恢复。

Enhanced bifunctional oxygen electrochemical catalytic performance using La-doped CoFe_(2)O_(4)spinel supported by 3D-G for Zn-air batteries

The preparation of bifunctional catalysts for oxygen reduction(ORR)and oxygen evolution(OER)is crucial for Zn-air ***,we report a La doped CoFe_(2)O_(4) spinel catalyst supported on threedimensional graphene(3D-G),where La can facilitate electron transfer from Co to Fe,leading to increased electron cloud density in Fe and improved catalytic *** redshift of the G peak in the Raman spectra indicates the interaction between theπbond of 3D-G and d orbitals in La_(0.2)CoFe_(1.8)O_(4).La_(0.2)CoFe_(1.8)/3D-G exhibits superior ORR performance(E_(1/2)=0.86 V ***)and OER performance(E_(j=10)=1.55 V ***)to CoFe_(2)O_(4)/3D-G(E_(1/2)=0.831 V ***,E_(j=10)=1.603 V ***).Furthermore,it demonstrates excellent bifunctional oxygen catalytic performance while maintaining high power density and stability in liquid zinc-air batteries(ZABs)and flexible ZABs(F-ZABs).This work presents a viable strategy for utilizing rare earth element doped spinels to enhance oxygen catalyst and ZABs performance.

Potential of Antibody-Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity in Acute and Recovery Phases of SARS-CoV-2 Infection

Background:Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused a global pandemic that has resulted in millions of *** researchers have reported the existence of neutralizing antibodies and viral T cell immunity against SARS-CoV-2,little is known about the presence of antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC)and its role in combating SARS-CoV-2 ***:Nineteen acute COVID-19 patients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University from January to February,2020 and 55 recovery COVID-19 patients at the Second Peoples Hospital of Changde City from February,2020 to February,2021 were recruited in this *** plasma samples were collected.A virus-specific ADCC assay was performed to study the COVID-19 plasma *** correlations between ADCC and total IgG titer,including anti-RBD,anti-N,and neutralizing antibody titer were ***:A high level of ADCC with 0.86%of IFN-g+CD107a+NK cells induced by anti RBD antibodies and with 0.54%of IFN-g+CD107a+NK cells induced by anti N antibodies was *** activity peaked at 3 weeks after disease onset with 1.16%and 0.63%of IFN-g+CD107a+NK cells induced by anti RBD and anti N antibodies respectively,declined to 0.32%and 0.32%of IFN-g+CD107a+NK cells respectively after more than 2 months,and persisted for 12 months after disease *** ADCC did not aggravate the severity of COVID-19 in terms of sequential organ failure assessment,although ADCC decreased with the age of COVID-19 ***,ADCC response is not correlated with neutralizing antibody titer or total IgG titers against S protein RBD and N protein in acute *** in recovered patients showed a significant correlation with anti RBD IgG titer(R2=0.33,P<0.001).Conclusion:Antibodies from COVID-19 patients against the N protein and S protein RBD domains could stimulate high levels of ADCC *** results provide evidence that vaccination should not only foc

Anaerobic digestion(AD)of waste activated sludge(WAS)is usually limited by the low generation efficiency of ***(Ⅲ)-loaded chitosan composite(CTS-Fe)have been reported to effectively enhanced the digestion of WAS,but its role in promoting anaerobic sludge digestion remains *** present study,the effects of CTS-Fe on the hydrolysis and methanogenesis stages of WAS anaerobic digestion were *** addition of CTSFe increased methane production potential by 8%-23%under the tested conditions with the addition of 5-20 g/L ***,the results demonstrate that the addition of CTS-Fe could effectively promote the hydrolysis of WAS,evidenced by lower protein or polysaccharides concentration,higher soluble organic carbon in rector adding CTS-Fe,as well as the increased activity of extracellular hydrolase with higher CTS-Fe ***,the enrichment of Clostridia abundance(iron-reducing bacteria(IRBs))was observed in CTS-Fe adding reactor(8.9%-13.8%),which was higher than that in the control reactor(7.9%).The observation further suggesting the acceleration of hydrolysis through dissimilatory iron reduction(DIR)process,thus providing abundant substrates for ***,the presence of CTS-Fe was inhibited the acetoclastic and hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis process,which could be ascribed to the Fe(Ⅲ)act as electron acceptor coupled to methane for anaerobic ***,coenzyme F420 activity in the CTS-Fe added reactor was 34.9% lower than in the blank,also abundance of microorganisms involved in hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis was *** from this study could provide theoretical support for the practical applications of CTS-Fe.

Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T-cell therapy has demonstrated clinical response in treating both hematologic malignancies and solid *** instances of rapid tumor remissions have been observed in animal models and clinical trials,tumor relapses occur with multiple therapeutic resistance ***,while the mechanisms underlying the long-term therapeutic resistance are well-known,short-term adaptation remains less ***,more views shed light on short-term adaptation and hold that it provides an opportunity window for long-term *** this study,we explore a previously unreported mechanism in which tumor cells employ trogocytosis to acquire CAR molecules from CAR-T cells,a reversal of previously documented *** mechanism results in the depletion of CAR molecules and subsequent CAR-T cell dysfunction,also leading to short-term antigen loss and antigen *** type of intercellular communication is independent of CAR downstream signaling,CAR-T cell condition,target antigen,and tumor cell ***,it is mainly dependent on antigen density and CAR sensitivity,and is associated with tumor cell cholesterol *** mitigation of this trogocytosis-induced CAR molecule transfer can be achieved by adaptively administering CAR-T cells with antigen density-individualized CAR ***,our study reveals a dynamic process of CAR molecule transfer and refining the framework of clinical CAR-T therapy for solid tumors.
