Despite sufficient studies performed in non-primate animal models,there exists scanty information obtained from pilot trials in non-human primate animal models,severely hindering nanomaterials moving from basic research into clinical *** herein present a pioneering demonstration of nanomaterials based optical imaging-guided surgical operation by using macaques as a typical kind of non-human primate-animal ***,taking advantages of strong and stable fluorescence of the small-sized(diameter:~5 nm)silicon-based nanoparticles(SiNPs),lymphatic drainage patterns can be vividly visualized in a real-time manner,and lymph nodes(LN)are able to be sensitively detected and precisely excised from small animal models(e.g.,rats and rabbits)to non-human primate animal models(e.g.,cynomolgus macaque(Macaca fascicularis)and rhesus macaque(Macaca mulatta)).Compared to clinically used invisible near-infrared(NIR)lymphatic tracers(i.e.,indocyanine green(ICG);etc.),we fully indicate that the SiNPs feature unique advantages for naked-eye visible fluorescence-guided surgical operation in long-term *** toxicological analysis in macaque models further provides confirming evidence of favorable biocompatibility of the SiNPs *** expect that our findings would facilitate the translation of nanomaterials from the laboratory to the clinic,especially in the field of cancer treatment.

Usually it is generally believed that the er element forms the er_(2)Fe_(14)B phase,which will seriously deteriorate the magnetic ***,here we report the balance of corrosion resistance and coercivity in Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets through using simple er_(30)Cu_(70) additive whose price is much lower than Dy and *** reasonably controlling er_(30)Cu_(70) addition,the corrosion resistance is improved at the minimum limit of reducing the magnetic *** studying the influence mechanism of er element,it is found that the main effect of er elements is to replace the Nd elements at the edge of the main phase grains to form a(er,Nd)_(2)Fe_(14)B shell with low H_(A),resulting in the reduction of magnetic *** improvement of corrosion resistance mainly comes from the more stable Cu element introduced at the grain *** the same time,the target magnets also show different advantages under different heat treatment *** findings may spur progress towards developing the lowcost permanent magnets that rival the commercial Nd-Fe-B counterpart.

Porous intermetallics show potential in the field of filtration and separation as well as in the field of ***,porous Ti Fe2intermetallics were fabricated by the reactive synthesis of elemental *** phase transformation and pore formation of porous TiFe2intermetallics were investigated,and its corrosion behavior and hydrogen evolution reaction(HeR)performance in alkali solution were *** TiFe2intermetallics with porosity in the range of 34.4%-56.4%were synthesized by the diffusion reaction of Ti and Fe elements,and the pore formation of porous TiFe2intermetallic compound is the result of a combination of the bridging effect and the Kirkendall *** porous TiFe2samples exhibit better corrosion resistance compared with porous 316L stainless steel,which is related to the formation of uniform nanosheets on the surface that hinder further corrosion,and porous TiFe2electrode shows the overpotential of 220.6 and 295.6 mV at 10 and 100 mA·cm-2,suggesting a good catalytic *** synthesized porous Fe-based intermetallic has a controllable pore structure as well as excellent corrosion resistance,showing its potential in the field of filtration and separation.

The private set intersection(PSI) protocol allows two parties holding a set of integers to compute the intersection of their sets without revealing any additional information to each other. The unbalanced PSI schemes consider a specific setting where a client holds a small set of the size n and a server holds a much larger set of the size m(n ■ m). The communication overhead of state-of-the-art balanced PSI schemes is O(m + n) and the unbalanced PSI schemes are O(nlogm). In this paper, we propose a novel secure unbalanced PSI protocol based on a hash proof system. The communication complexity of our protocol grows only linearly with the size of the small set. In other words, our protocol achieves communication overhead of O(n). We test the performance on a personal computer(PC) machine with a local area network(LAN)setting for the network. The experimental results demonstrate that the client only takes 2.01 s of online computation, 4.27 MB of round trip communication to intersect 1600 pieces of 32-bit integers with 220pieces of 32-bit integers with the security parameter λ = 512. Our protocol is efficient and can be applied to resource-constrained devices, such as cell phones.

OBJeCTIVe: To investigate blood pressure rhythm(BPR)in Yin deficiency syndrome of hypertension(YDSH)patients and develop a random forest model for predicting ***: Our study was consistent with technical processes and specification for developing guidelines of evidence-based Chinese medicine clinical practice(T/CACM 1032-2017). We enrolled 234 patients who had been diagnosed with primary hypertension without antihypertensive medications prior to the enrollment. All participants were divided into Yin deficiency group(YX, n = 74) and non-Yin deficiency group(NYX, n = 160).Participants were professionally grouped by three experienced chief Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)physicians according to four examinations(i.e.,inspection, listening and smelling, inquiry and palpation).We collected data on 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM) and YDSH rating scale. We divided 24 h of a day into 12 two-hour periods [Chen-Shi(7:00-9:00), Si-Shi(9:00-11:00), Wu-Shi(11:00-13:00), Wei-Shi(13:00-15:00), Shen-Shi(15:00-17:00), You-Shi(17:00-19:00), Xu-Shi(19:00-21:00), Hai-Shi(21:00-23:00), ZiShi(23:00-1:00), Chou-Shi(1:00-3:00), Yin-Shi(3:00-5:00), Mao-Shi(5:00-7:00)] according to the theory of “midnight-midday ebb flow”. We used random forest to build the diagnostic model of YDSH, with whether it was Yin deficiency syndrome as the outcome. ReSULTS: Compared with NYX group, YX group had more female participants with older age, lower waist circumference, body mass index(BMI), diastolic blood pressure(DBP), and smoking and drinking rate(all P e YDSH rating scores of YX group [28.5(21.0-36.0)] were significantly higher than NYX group [13.0(8.0-22.0)](P e typical symptoms of YX group included vexing heat in the chest, palms and soles, dizziness, dry eyes, string-like and fine pulse, soreness and weakness of lumbus and knees, palpitations, reddened cheeks, and tinnitus(all P e ratio of non-dipper hypertension in YX group was higher t

Valine is an essential amino acid and a type of branched-chain amino acid. Due to the involvement of branchedchain amino acids in various metabolic pathways, there has been a surge of interests in valine nutrition and its role in animal physiology. In pigs, the interactions between valine and other branched-chain amino acids or aromatic amino acids are complex. In this review, we delve into the interaction mechanism, metabolic pathways, and biological functions of valine. Appropriate valine supplementation not only enhances growth and reproductive performances, but also modulates gut microbiota and immune functions. Based on past observations and interpretations, we provide recommended feed levels of valine for weaned piglets, growing pigs, gilts, lactating sows, barrows and entire males. The summarized valine nutrient requirements for pigs at different stages offer valuable insights for future research and practical applications in animal husbandry.

Ocean is full of low-frequency,irregular,and widely distributed wave energy,which is suitable as the energy source for maritime Internet of Things(IoTs).Utilizing triboelectric nanogenerators(TeNGs)to harvest ocean wave energy and power sensors is proven to be an effective ***,in random ocean waves,the irregular electrical energy output by general TeNGs restricts the *** present,achieving regularized water wave energy harvesting relies on rather complex mechanical structure designs,which is not conducive to *** this work,we proposed a novel mechanical controlled TeNG(MCTeNG)with a simple controlled switch to realize the regularization *** structural parameters of the MC-TeNG are optimized,and the optimal output voltage,output current,and transferred charge respectively reach 1684.2 V,85.4μA,and 389.9 nC,generating a peak power density of 38.46 W·m^(−3)·Hz^(−1).Under real water wave environment,the output of the MC-TeNG is regularized and keeps stable regardless of any wave ***,the potential applications of the MC-TeNG are demonstrated in powering environmental temperature,humidity,and wind speed *** work renders a simple approach to achieve effective regularized ocean wave energy harvesting,promoting the TeNG industrialization toward practical application of maritime IoTs.
