Photocatalysis driven by abundant yet intermittent solar energy has considerable potential in renewable energy generation and environmental *** outstanding electronic structure and physicochemical properties of graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)),together with unique metal-free characteristic,make them ideal candidates for advanced photocatalysts *** review summarizes the up-to-date advances on g-C_(3)N_(4)based photocatalysts from ingenious-design strategies and diversified photocatalytic ***,the advantages,fabrication methods and limitations of each design strategy are systemically *** order to deeply comprehend the inner connection of theory–structure–performance upon g-C_(3)N_(4)based photocatalysts,structure/composition designs,corresponding photocatalytic activities and reaction mechanisms are jointly discussed,associated with introducing their photocatalytic applications toward water splitting,carbon dioxide/nitrogen reduction and pollutants degradation,***,the current challenges and future perspectives for g-C_(3)N_(4)based materials for photocatalysis are briefly *** design strategies and limitations are also instructive for constructing g-C_(3)N_(4) based materials in other energy and environment-related applications.

A chemically closed-loop-recyclable biodegradable polymer,poly(p-dioxanone)(PPDO),is one of the ideal candidates for single-use plastic products due to its suitability for different application ***,when PPDO wastes can be collected,its monomer p-dioxanone(PDO) will be obtained through chemical recycling of these wastes;when cannot be collected,the wastes are able to be biodegraded into harmless ***,unsatisfied thermal stability and low crystallization rate of PPDO restrict its wider ***,based on end-group regulation,we simultaneously realized the significant enhancement of thermal stability and crystallization of PPDO through the simple melt processing with tributyl phosphite(TBP) or triphenyl phosphite(TPP).The model reactions were conducted to investigate the reaction mechanism and theoretical products during the preparation of PPDO/phosphite *** kinds of phosphites were proved to act as the end-capped reagent and chain extender in the melt processing,while TBP presented better *** a result,the activation energy of thermal decomposition was largely elevated,and the unprecedented T_(5%)(the temperature at a weight loss of 5%) and Tmax(the temperature at a maximum rate of weight loss) of PPDO were obtained,i.e.,T_(5%)of ~330 ℃ and Tmaxof ~385 ℃ in N_(2) atmosphere,T_(5%)of ~240 ℃ and Tmaxof ~317 ℃ in air atmosphere,***,the increased crystallization rate,crystallinity,crystalline orderliness,and realizable monomer recovery(yield >90%,purity >99.9%) of PPDO/phosphite compounds were confirmed.

Critical-sized bone defects, commonly encountered in clinical orthopedic surgery, present a significant challenge. One of the promising solutions is to prepare synthetic bone substitute materials with precise structural control, mechanical compatibility, and enhanced osteogenic induction performance, nevertheless the successful preparation of such materials remains difficult. In this study, a two-step technique,integrating an extrusion-based printing process with biomimetic mineralization induced by alkaline phosphatase(ALP), was developed. Initially,a pre-cured hydrogel of regenerated silk fibroin(RSF) with a small quantity of hydroxypropyl cellulose(HPC) and ALP was prepared through heating the mixed aqueous solution. This pre-cured hydrogel demonstrated thixotropic property and could be directly extruded into predetermined structures through a 3D-printer. Subsequently, the 3D-printed RSF-based materials with ALP underwent biomimetic in situ mineralization in calcium glycerophosphate(Ca-GP) mineralizing solution, utilizing the polymer chains of RSF as templates and ALP as a trigger for cleaving phosphate bonds of Ca-GP. The resulting 3D-printed RSF-mineral composites including hydrogel and sponge possessed adjustable compression modulus of megapascal grade and variable hydroxyapatite content, which could be controlled by manipulating the duration of the mineralization ***, these 3D-printed RSF-mineral composites demonstrated non-cytotoxicity towards rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. Therefore, they may hold great potential for applications involving the replacement of tissues characterized by osteoinductivity and intricate structures.

BACKGROUND Previous studies investigating the association between loss of estrogen at menopause and skeletal muscle mass came to contradictory *** To evaluate the association between serum estradiol level and appendicular lean mass index in middle-aged postmenopausal women using population-based *** This study included 673 postmenopausal women,aged 40-59 years,from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey between 2013 and *** multivariable linear regression models were used to evaluate the association between serum E2 Level and appendicular lean mass index(ALMI).When non-linear associations were found by using weighted generalized additive model and smooth curve fitting,two-piecewise linear regression models were further applied to examine the threshold *** There was a positive association between serum E2 level and *** to individuals in quartile 1 group,those in other quartiles had higher ALMI *** inverted U-shaped curve relationship between serum E2 Level and ALMI was found on performing weighted generalized additive model and smooth curve fitting,and the inflection point was identified as a serum E2 level of 85 pg/*** Our results demonstrated an inverted U-shaped curve relationship between serum E2 levels and ALMI in middle-aged postmenopausal women,suggesting that low serum E2 levels play an important in the loss of muscle mass in middleaged postmenopausal women.

Multi-stream signals separation based on space-time-isomeric (SPATIO) array using metasurface antennas

In spatial domain signal processing, it is necessary to equip more antennas at the receiver to improve spatial demultiplexing capability. However, increasing the number of antennas under restricted space will reduce antenna spacing and raise the channel correlation, making the number of signal streams spatially demultiplexed much smaller than that of antennas. This paper proposes a method to design a space-timeisomeric(SPATIO) array based on metasurface antennas under wireless multipath conditions. Each antenna in this array has a different pattern and varies independently with time, reducing the channel correlation by superposing multipath at distinct positions and moments. Based on the SPATIO array, we present an array parameter design scheme based on infinity norm minimization, which can maximize the received energy of each stream while separating multi-stream received signals. Simulation results illustrate the performance of the SPATIO array for multi-stream signal reception. Compared with conventional multiple-input multipleoutput arrays, the proposed array can reduce the bit error rate by one order of magnitude under the same simulation conditions.

Developing highly sensitive optical thermometers is of great significance due to their capability to enable remote and non-contact temperature measurements, rendering them highly applicable in diverse and harsh environments. Herein we report a temperature-dependent phosphor of 0D metal halide hybrid by incorporating Bi^(3+)into the(MePPh_(3))_(2)ZnCl_(4) matrix. Through Bi^(3+)doping,the initially non-luminescent(MePPh_(3))_(2) ZnCl_(4) matrix exhibits a deep-blue emission centered at 453 nm, with a photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY) of 5.71% and a Stokes shift of 75 nm at room temperature. Experimental characterization demonstrates that exciton-like luminescence of Bi^(3+)is mainly responsible for the blue emission. Single crystals of Bi^(3+)-doped(MePPh_(3))_(2)ZnCl_(4) show an unusual correlation between photoluminescence(PL) lifetime and temperature. Particularly, the dependence of luminescence lifetime on temperature is most remarkable in the temperature range of 80 to 100 K with an exceptional sensitivity up to 0.09 K^(-1), representing one of the best levels for thermometry based on PL decay lifetime. Our work not only provides a viable strategy for designing a novel, environmentally friendly, and stable blue emitter, but also paves the way for precise thermometric application at low temperature.

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW China,where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification,and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone,oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework,and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound,exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat.
