We describe in this paper the fabrication of two- and one-dimensional nanostructures with organic molecular beam epitaxy （OMBE） principle based on controlled selfassembly by using adsorbate-substrate and intennolecular interactions that are important in molecular fabrication. Cu（100） single crystal was used as substrate in fabricating molecular nanostructures. Scanning tunneling microscopy （STM） experiments confirmed that Zn-tetra- [3,5-di-t-butylphenyl]porphyrin-molecules can be used to fabricate both monolayer and molecular wire on Cu（100） surface simultaneously, and the latter is arranged on the terrace edges. We herein briefly discuss the selectivity in terms of a mechanism in which the highest occupied and lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals （HOMO and LUMO） of the molecules interact with the surface.

Fault disposal is a research area that presents difficulties in 3D geological modeling and visualization. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach to reconstructing a complex fault network (CFN). Based on the non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) techniques, fault surface was constructed, reflecting the regulation of its spatial tendency, and correlative surfaces were enclosed to form a fault body model. Based on these models and considering their historic tectonics, a method was put forward to settle the 3D modeling problem when the intersection of two faults in CFN induced the change of their relative positions. First, according to the relationships of intersection obtained from geological interpretation, we introduced the topological sort to determine the order of fault body construction and rebuilt fault bodies in terms of the order; then, with the disposal method of two intersectant faults in 3D modeling and applying the Boolean operation, we investigated the characteristic of faults at the intersectant part. An example of its application in hydropower engineering project was proposed. Its results show that this modeling approach can increase the computing efficiency while less computer memory is required, and it can also factually and objectively reproduce the CFN in the engineering region, which establishes a theoretical basis for 3D modeling and analysis of complex engineering geology.

Novel layered silinaite has been synthesized using an aqueous mixture of water glass, liOH and NaOH under hydrothermal crystallization. Subsequently transformation of silinaite into mesoporous materials （SDM） was achieved at mild condition using cetyltfimethylammonium bromide as structure-directing agents. The resulting samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, FTIR nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms and catalytic performance in bulky molecular involved reaction. The results revealed that synthesized mesoporous materials derived from the silinaite exhibited an ordered hexagonal crystal structure with average pore diameter 2.7 nm and BET surface area 817m^2/g. The SDM-supported ZnCl2 catalyst, prepared by impregnationevaporation method, retained the mesoporous structure and showed high selectivity in alkylation of benzene with benzyl chloride.

Background:Understanding the global spatiotemporal pattern of seasonal influenza is essential for influenza control and *** data on the updated global spatiotemporal pattern of seasonal influenza are *** study aimed to assess the spatiotemporal pattern of seasonal influenza after the 2009 influenza ***:Weekly influenza surveillance data in 86 countries from 2010 to 2017 were obtained from ***,the proportion of influenza A in total influenza viruses(PA)was ***,weekly numbers of influenza positive virus(A and B)were divided by the total number of samples processed to get weekly positive rates of influenza A(RWA)and influenza B(RWB).Third,the average positive rates of influenza A(RA)and influenza B(RB)for each country were calculated by averaging RWA,and RWB of 52 weeks.A Kruskal-Wallis test was conducted to examine if the year-to-year change in PA in all countries were significant,and a universal kriging method with linear semivariogram model was used to extrapolate RA and RB in all ***:PA ranged from 0.43 in Zambia to 0.98 in Belarus,and PA in countries with higher income was greater than those countries with lower *** spatial patterns of high RB were the highest in sub-Saharan Africa,Asia-Pacific region and South *** peaked in early weeks in temperate countries,and the peak of RWB occurred a bit *** were some temperate countries with non-distinct influenza seasonality(e.g.,Mauritius and Maldives)and some tropical/subtropical countries with distinct influenza seasonality(e.g.,Chile and South Africa).Conclusions:Influenza seasonality is not predictable in some temperate countries,and it is distinct in Chile,Argentina and South Africa,implying that the optimal timing for influenza vaccination needs to be chosen with caution in these unpredictable countries.

Fever of unknown origin(FUO)is recognized as fever with uncertain diagnosis despite three days of hospital admission or three or more outpatient visits.[1]Acute liver fluke infection is characterized by fever,right upper quadrant pain,hepatomegaly,jaundice,and peripheral blood *** contrast,chronic liver fluke infection is asymptomatic in its early stage,but can easily progress to cirrhosis,cancer,or bile duct cancer *** diagnosis of clonorchiasis is particularly challenging in non-endemic *** herein report an unusual case of liver fluke infection in a patient who presented with FUO and eosinophilia.A 38-year-old male was admitted to our hospital with a history of intermittent and recurrent fever for over 10 d and a history of sudden abdominal pain for1 *** had no other medical *** than 10d ago,he visited our emergency department because of FUO,with his body temperature reaching 39.7℃,and he had no other symptoms at that *** and radiological examinations revealed:white blood cell(WBC)counts,10.9×10^(9)/L;neutrophil percentage,84.5%;eosinophil percentage,3.1%;C-reactive protein(CRP),141 mg/L;liver and kidney function,normal;influenza virus,negative;urine and stool tests,normal;and chest computed tomography(CT)findings,*** fever subsided after 1 week of anti-infective treatment with *** tests revealed the following results:WBC,15.0×10^(9)/L;neutrophil percentage,70.0%;eosinophil percentage,16.8%;and CRP,122 mg/*** antimicrobial treatment was then discontinued.
