We present and analyze a robust preconditioned conjugate gradient method for the higher order Lagrangian finite element systems of a class of elliptic problems. An auxiliary linear element stiffness matrix is chosen to be the preconditioner for higher order finite elements. Then an algebraic multigrid method of linear finite element is applied for solving the preconditioner. The optimal condition number which is independent of the mesh size is obtained. Numerical experiments confirm the efficiency of the algorithm.

Recent advances in deep learning have expanded new possibilities for fluid flow simulation in petroleum ***,the predominant approach in existing research is to train neural networks using high-fidelity numerical simulation *** presents a significant challenge because the sole source of authentic wellbore production data for training is *** response to this challenge,this work introduces a novel architecture called physics-informed neural network based on domain decomposition(PINN-DD),aiming to effectively utilize the sparse production data of wells for reservoir simulation with large-scale *** harness the capabilities of physics-informed neural networks(PINNs)in handling small-scale spatial-temporal domain while addressing the challenges of large-scale systems with sparse labeled data,the computational domain is divided into two distinct sub-domains:the well-containing and the well-free ***,the two sub-domains and the interface are rigorously constrained by the governing equations,data matching,and boundary *** accuracy of the proposed method is evaluated on two problems,and its performance is compared against state-of-the-art PINNs through numerical analysis as a *** results demonstrate the superiority of PINN-DD in handling large-scale reservoir simulation with limited data and show its potential to outperform conventional PINNs in such scenarios.

Protein-biomolecule interactions play pivotal roles in almost all biological *** a biomolecule of interest,the identification of the interacting protein(s)is *** this need,although many assays are available,highly robust and reliable methods are always *** combining a substrate-based proximity labeling activity from the pupylation pathway of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the streptavidin(SA)-biotin system,we developed the Specific Pupylation as IDEntity Reporter(SPIDER)method for identifying protein-biomolecule *** SPIDER,we validated the interactions between the known binding proteins of protein,DNA,RNA,and small *** successfully applied SPIDER to construct the global protein interactome for m^(6)A and m RNA,identified a variety of uncharacterized m^(6)A binding proteins,and validated SRSF7 as a potential m^(6)A *** globally identified the binding proteins for lenalidomide and Cob ***,we identified SARS-CoV-2.specific receptors on the cell ***,SPIDER is powerful and highly accessible for the study of proteinbiomolecule interactions.

Serological tests play an essential role in monitoring and combating the COVID-19 *** spike protein(S protein),especially the S1 protein,is one of the major reagents used for serological ***,the high cost of S protein production and possible cross-reactivity with other human coronaviruses pose unavoidable *** taking advantage of a peptide microarray with full spike protein coverage,we analyzed 2.434 sera from 858 COVID-19 patients,63 asymptomatic patients and 610 controls collected from multiple clinical *** on the results,we identified several S protein-derived 12.mer peptides that have high diagnostic *** particular,for monitoring the IgG response,one peptide(aa 1148-1159 or S2.78)exhibited a sensitivity(95.5%,95%ci 93.7-96.9%)and specificity(96.7%,95%ci 94.8-98.0%)comparable to those of the S1 protein for the detection of both symptomatic and asymptomatic COVID-19 ***,the diagnostic performance of the S2.78(aa 1148-1159)IgG was successfully validated by ELISA in an independent sample cohort.A panel of four peptides,S1-93(aa 553-564),S1-97(aa 577-588),S1-101(aa 601-612.and S1-105(aa 62.-636),that likely will avoid potential cross-reactivity with sera from patients infected by other coronaviruses was *** peptides identified in this study may be applied independently or in combination with the S1 protein for accurate,affordable,and accessible COVID-19 diagnosis.

The circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by {2.,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2.s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design Report(TDR)follows the Preliminary Conceptual Design Report(Pre-CDR,2.15)and the Conceptual Design Report(CDR,2.18),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2.2.-2.2.,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2.30s.

Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)can capture and kill viruses,such as influenza viruses,human immunodeficiency virus(HIV),and respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),thus contributing to host *** to our expectation,we show here that the histones released by NETosis enhance the infectivity of SARS-CoV-2.as found by using live SARS-CoV-2.and two pseudovirus systems as well as a mouse *** histone H3 or H4 selectively binds to subunit 2.of the spike(S)protein,as shown by a biochemical binding assay,surface plasmon resonance and binding energy calculation as well as the construction of a mutant S protein by replacing four acidic amino *** acid on the host cell surface is the key molecule to which histones bridge subunit 2.of the S ***,histones enhance cell-cell ***,treatment with an inhibitor of NETosis,histone H3 or H4,or sialic acid notably affected the levels of sgRNA copies and the number of apoptotic cells in a mouse *** findings suggest that SARS-CoV-2.could hijack histones from neutrophil NETosis to promote its host cell attachment and entry process and may be important in exploring pathogenesis and possible strategies to develop new effective therapies for COVID-19.

The ^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross section is very important in basic nuclear physics and applications based on the Th/U fuel *** the time-of-flight method and a multi-cell fast-fission ionization chamber,a novel measurement of the^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross sec-tion relative to^(2.5)U in the 1–2.0 MeV range was performed at the china Spallation Neutron Source Back-n white neutron source(Back-n).The fission event-neutron energy spectra of^(2.2.Th and^(2.5)U fission cells were measured in the single-bunch *** 2.2.h/2.5U fission cross-sectional ratios were obtained,and the measurement uncertainties were 2.5–3.7%for energies in the 2.2. MeV range and 3.6–6.2.for energies in the 2.–2.0 MeV ***^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross section was obtained by introducing the standard cross section of^(2.5)U(n,f).The results were compared with those of previous theoreti-cal calculations,measurements,and *** measured 2.2.h fission cross section agreed with the main evaluation results in terms of the experimental uncertainty,and 2.2.h fission resonances were observed in the 1–3 MeV *** present results provide^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross-sectional data for the evaluation and design of Th/U cycle nuclear {2..
