In situ anchoring in carbon matrix of Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3) as a high-performance anode material for Li-ion batteries

Bismuth-based anode materials have been regarded as promising Li-ion batteries due to their high theoretical ***,their low conductivity and associated volume expansion inhabited their *** this work,Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3)@C composites were successfully synthesized by in situ anchoring of flower-like Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3) nanosheets on a carbon-based substrate via *** unique composited structure of Bi_2O_(2)-CO_(3)@C leads to a stable specific capacity of 547 mAh·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.1 A·g^(-1).Notably,it demonstrates excellent rate capability with a specific capacity of 210 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 A·g^(-1).After 550 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A·g^(-1),a high reversible capacity of nearly 400 mAh·g^(-1)was ***,in situ X-ray diffraction measurements clearly demonstrate the conversion between Bi and Li_(3)Bi during alloying/dealloying,confirming the good electrochemical reversibility of the materials for Li *** reaction kinetics of Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3)@C were further investigated using galvanostatic intermittent titration ***,Bi_2O_(2)-CO_(3)@C exhibited excellent long-term stability,maintaining its high reversible capacity for over 200 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A·g^(-1)in a full cell configuration using Li_(1.20)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)O_(2) as the cathode *** result further underscores its promising potential for lithium-ion *** work may provide inspiration for the design of alloy-type negative electrode materials for high-performance rechargeable batteries.

Effect of rolling technologies on the properties of Pb?0.06wt%Ca?1.2wt%Sn alloy anodes during copper electrowinning

The objective of this work was to study the effect of different rolling technologies on the properties of Pb-0.06wt%Ca-1.2wt%Sn anodes during copper electrowinning and to determine the relationship between the properties of the anodes and rolling techniques during copper electrowinning. The anode process was investigated via anodic polarization curves, cyclic voltammetry curves, electrochemical impedance spectra, and corrosion tests. The microscopic morphology and phase composition of the anodic oxide layers were observed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. Observable variations in the electrocatalytic activity and reaction kinetics of anodes during electrowinning indicated that the electrochemical behavior of the anodes was strongly affected by the rolling technology. An increase in the rolling number tended to decrease the oxygen evolution overpotential and the corrosion rate of the anodes. These trends are contrary to that of the apparent exchange current density. Furthermore, the intensities of diffraction peaks associated with PbO, PbOx, and α-PbO2 tended to increase with increasing rolling number. In addition, the rolled anodes exhibited a more uniform microstructure. Compared with one-way rolled anodes, the eight-time cross rolled anodes exhibited better electrocatalytic activity and improved corrosion resistance.

Properties of a new type Al/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy composite anode for zinc electrowinning

An A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy composite anode was produced via composite casting. Its electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction and corrosion resistance was evaluated by anodic polarization curves and accelerated corro- sion test, respectively. The microscopic morphologies of the anode section and anodic oxidation layer during accelerated corrosion test were obtained by scanning electron microscopy. It is found that the composite anode （hard anodizing） dis- plays a more compact interracial combination and a better adhesive strength than plating tin. Compared with industrial Pb-0.3%Ag anodes, the oxygen evolution overpotentials of A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy （hard anodizing） and A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy （plating tin） at 500 A.m-2 were lower by 57 and 14 mV, respectively. Furthermore, the corrosion rates of Pb-0.3%Ag alloy, A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy （hard anodizing）, and A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy （plating tin） were 13.977, 9.487, and 11.824 g.m-2.h-1, respectively, in accelerated corrosion test for 8 h at 2000 A-m-2. The anodic oxidation layer of A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy （hard anodizing） is more compact than Pb-0.3%Ag alloy and A1/Pb-0.3%Ag alloy （plating tin） after the test.

Electrosynthesis and physicochemical properties ofα-PbO_2-CeO_2-TiO_2 composite electrodes

In order to investigate the effect of solid particles dopants on physicochemical properties of α-PbO2 electrodes, a-PbO2 composite electrodes doped with nano-TiO2 and nano-CeO2 particles were respectively prepared on A1/conductive coating electrodes in 4 mol/L NaOH solution with addition of PbO until saturation by anodic codeposition. The electrodeposition mechanism, morphology, composition and structure of the composite electrodes were characterized by cyclic voltarnmogram （CV）, SEM, EDAX and XRD. Results show that the doping solid particles can not change reaction mechanism of α-PbO2 electrode in alkaline or acid plating bath, but can improve deposition rate and reduce oxygen evolution potential. The doping solid particles can inhibit the growth of a-PbO2 unit cell and improve specific surface area. The diffraction peak intensity of a-PbO2-CeO2-TiO2 composite electrode is lower than that of pure a-PbO2 electrode. The electrocatalytic activity of a-PbO2-2.12%CEO2-3.71%TIO2 composite electrode is the best. The Guglielmi model for CeO2 and TiO2 codeposition with a-PbO2 is also pronosed.

Influence of nano-CeO_2 on coating structure and properties of electrodeposited Al/α-PbO_2/β-PbO_2

Al/α-PbO2/β-PbO2 composite electrodes doped with rare earth oxide （CeO2） were prepared by anodic oxidation method investigate the influence of nano-CeO2 dopants on the properties of Al/α-PbO2/β-PbO2-CeO2 electrodes and the impact of α-PbO2 as the intermediate layer. The results show that using α-PbO2 as the intermediate layer will benefit the crystallization of β-PbO2 and β-PbO2 is more suitable as the surface layer than α-PbO2. CeO2 dopants change the crystallite size and crystal structure, enhance the catalytic activity, and even change the deposition mechanism of PbO2. The doping of CeO2 in the PbO2 electrodes can enhance the electro-catalytic activity, which is helpful for oxygen evolution, and therefore reduce the cell voltage.

The effect of Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio and CaO content on the viscosity and structure of the CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-6MgO-1.5ZrO_(2)-1.5CeO_(2) slag was *** results show that with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio,the viscous flow units within the slag gradually change from Si-O-Si to Al-O-Al and ***,the substitution of Al_(2)O_(3) for SiO_(2) leads to the transformation of Si-O bonds towards weaker Al-O bonds,which weaken the bond strength of the aluminosilicate networks,thus leading to a decrease in the viscosity of *** increase in CaO content effectively promotes the depolymerization of the aluminosilicate networks,resulting in a significant decrease in the viscosity of the *** slag with Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) of 0.7-1.5 and CaO of 30 wt.%shows promise as the reference slag system for the Fe-collection smelting of spent automotive catalysts due to its good comprehensive performance.

Dear Editor,This letter investigates a novel stealthy false data injection(FDI)attack scheme based on side information to deteriorate the multi-sensor estimation performance of cyber-physical systems(CPSs).Compared with most existing works depending on the full system knowledge,this attack scheme is only related to attackers'sensor and physical process *** design principle of the attack signal is derived to diverge the system estimation ***,it is proven that the proposed attack scheme can successfully bypass the residual-based ***,all theoretical results are verified by numerical simulation.

Theoretical insights into thermal transport and structural stability mechanisms of triaxial compressed methane hydrate

The heat transfer and stability of methane hydrate in reservoirs have a direct impact on the drilling and production efficiency of hydrate resources, especially in complex stress environments caused by formation subsidence. In this study, we investigated the thermal transport and structural stability of methane hydrate under triaxial compression using molecular dynamics simulations. The results suggest that the thermal conductivity of methane hydrate increases with increasing compression strain. Two phonon transport mechanisms were identified as factors enhancing thermal conductivity. At low compressive strains, a low-frequency phonon transport channel was established due to the overlap of phonon vibration peaks between methane and water molecules. At high compressive strains, the filling of larger phonon bandgaps facilitated the opening of more phonon transport channels. Additionally, we found that a strain of -0.04 is a watershed point, where methane hydrate transitions from stable to unstable. Furthermore, a strain of -0.06 marks the threshold at which the diffusion capacities of methane and water molecules are at their peaks. At a higher strain of -0.08, the increased volume compression reduces the available space, limiting the diffusion ability of water and methane molecules within the hydrate. The synergistic effect of the strong diffusion ability and high probability of collision between atoms increases the thermal conductivity of hydrates during the unstable period compared to the stable period. Our findings offer valuable theoretical insights into the thermal conductivity and stability of methane hydrates in reservoir stress environments.
